  1. Ah ok. I'm still getting it but I was just wondering cause I'm surprised to see some of the IDEAS sets still in production as I thought they were limited run only but maybe that's based on the set and sales. I love the size of this. I think after I buy it, if I don't have any lying around my house somewhere, I am gonna buy some marbles to see if they work better on the maze.
  2. I assume this will be a limited run right? Unlike Wall-E and I think a couple others which are still around.
  3. Mine was this month. 27 years old. Already feeling old. :( I hope to have the entire series, the day it comes out, if not before that if we see any early TRU leaks.
  4. Random person: o_O? You: O_O I've never felt judged or anything of the sort buying Lego. Plus I wouldn't care. I stopped caring what people think of me a long time ago. I live my life how I want to. If you don't like it, then that's too bad. If people want to think things about me, go right ahead.
  5. Is it possible to mod this maze to include holes? I'm not sure how you could go about it but I'm sure it is possible using legit methods. What I like about this is not only does it look like a lot of fun, I am interested to see what the community will come up with as alternative mazes.
  6. I can make a fake documentary about them and call it real. Legend of the Shark Suit Guys. The monsters that lurk beneath the sea.
  7. The coolest.
  8. http://imgur.com/gallery/zdrqx/ (Used this link instead of having 22 images try to load in this thread). This is my Lego collection I wanted to share with you all. I've been building this since I was a child and collected a lot of the sets and figures in my 20s, the oldest ones date back to my childhood(except for the Surevillance Squad Set as I had that as a child, lost most of the parts and re-bought the set sealed on Bricklink several years ago). Some of the oldest sets I've had to re-buy parts for as I lost parts. Over the course of my childhood, I lost some of my sets to movers as well as just being a child and not caring for my collection. I am working on reacquiring those. So no other reason to post this other than just to share it with you all. Thanks for viewing! :)
  9. Thanks! Why not just Bricklink the last 6? You will pay a bit more than retail but you'll save yourself time and effort. Brick Ideas and Grandma Bricks for the US are the best prices I can find. I did that for my Winged Warrior. Spent a total of $6 with shipping(Grandma Bricks). Also I did notice an odd quality issue with the Winged Warrior on the bottom of the wings there is a white dot. Both wings have it but it is on different sides so it only shows one when the wings are on. Here is a picture of it: http://imgur.com/KkQGWwo
  10. I think actual pictures will help alleviate a lot of the complaints we are seeing, ecpesially Alice.
  11. My biggest problem is because of how her head including her hair(and upon second glance I think her printing is also causing this), mainly her tiny face, she looks fat. It's a design flaw. Even being standard Minifigure proportion, she comes across a fat. I've seen other skinny characters do quite well in Minifigure proportions. It has nothing to do with gender. It's all about proportions and details. I think the designers could have done a lot better but then again I don't know their restrictions they worked under. Edit: I think once we get official real life pictures a lot of concerns will be alleviated, I hope.
  12. Oh wow. Of course that sale happens. Ugh. I may get in on that and see if I can get a few more Sharks.
  13. Are they only going to be available in Germany(I think it was a German team?) or worldwide?
  14. So it's more of an optical allusion because of how they have to be made to fit the Minifigure body?
  15. It's likely someone ordered it online(Bricklink, ect) and then sold it to that store or the store ordered it or bought it somehow. Unless this set has appeared in the US at some point.
  16. So can anyone guess what the scale might be? Does anyone know the scale of the model in the original project? Also will it stay around the typical $70?
  17. I'm afraid I can't let them go. I might be in too deep. A Sharknado will soon consume your Knights.
  18. I have an addiction to Shark Suit Guy. Send help.
  19. Just looked up some pictures of it. It's likely we could get some interesting parts from this. Found a couple custom things that look way better than the set Lego approved: Custom Minifigures Rejected Adventure Time Project I wonder why this got approved but not the above project except for the Minfiigures which maybe they didn't want that many new molds?
  20. Catherham looks pretty cool. I am wondering what the scale of it will be(1/8th, 1/10th, 1/16th, Ghostbuster scale(?))? Looks pretty big in the picture. Also will it stay within the $70 price point? Edit: Moved question here.
  21. I am confused how Adventure Time got picked over some of the others? Unless that is way way more popular than I know and there is something I'm missing that will make this a viable set.
  22. The car looks cool but Adventure Time? Not really impressed with that set. Also, why reject a modular library? Do they already have one or is it too complicated for the Ideas price point? Last question, wasn't Stay Puft on there for a long time and they just now rejected it?
  23. I see these accessories/parts(Not sure if any of these are new or not besides the banana and I'm not bothering mentioning the heads and Torso unless they are unique like the skirt.): - Pirate: Bandana head piece, and knife(I think, its blurry and flat.). - Baby Sitter: Hair and Baby. - Soldier: Light blue hair, gun, and looks like a different colored and printed chest piece like the Laser Mech from Series 15 has. - Imp: Head piece, Pumpkin Candy Pale, and wings(I'm pretty sure these are attached to a back neck piece and not molded into the torso.). - Snow Queen: Hair, crown piece, skirt(like series 15 queen, different color and print), and wings. - Penguin: Penguin cap. - Banana: Banana suit. - Mariachi Player: Sombrero, Acoustic Guitar, and Mustache piece. - Rogue: Bow, 2 head pieces, and looks like something on his back so probably a neck piece as well.
