Cheers. Yes, I left them out on purpose. I either lost one in the unboxing or my set was missing one so I decided to leave both out.

The new Ecto-1 Ghostbusters car is pretty awesome so I wanted to make a video of it. You'll recognise Frankie the mechanic from the 60056 Tow Truck set.

MOC The Simpsons Android's Dungeon comic shop [LDD]
SeanJFry replied to SeanJFry's topic in LEGO Licensed
Here is my concept for the Mr. Plow truck. I haven't done the plow piece yet sadly. I tried to make it in a similar style to the official carI hope to get the parts to build it in the next few weeks. -
I wanted to do some stop motion animation ever since I put the Simpsons lego house together a few weeks ago. Here's the result. Bart Simpson with special guests Milhouse and Nelson.

Great work on the vehicles. They should fit in with the official car and house nicely.

The kwik-e-mart set is my favourite, but they are all really cool.

MOC The Simpsons Android's Dungeon comic shop [LDD]
SeanJFry replied to SeanJFry's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks 3brickfriend. I was mucking around with different supports for the awning on the weekend, then got sidetracked by designing a Mr. Plow truck, so haven't done much with the interior yet. -
I picked up the Emmet minifigure today and came up with this!

I have to get this set. There are some parts of the prototype I like better than the official set though.

This is really nice. You've put a lot of detail in such a small space. I noticed that they are from the Simpsons house. Nice!

Thanks Legoman. I'm also wondering what the next Simpsons set will be. I'd like to do the Kwik-e-mart, Krusty Burger and Moe's Tavern. We will need a Comic book guy and Moe minifigure too! -
This is cool. I'd like to see it in amongst your depressed city.

MOC The Simpsons Android's Dungeon comic shop [LDD]

Thanks guys. Having only just gettting back into Lego I have very little knowledge of all the pieces, so it's a slow task to find the piece that will work the way I want it to. I will hopefully make progress on this design on the weekend. And after that learn how to render / export the LDD model. -
I put this together tonight, and I hooked the truck up to car differently to you. See pictures. I put the hook under the car and then crank the winch. The larger arm then locks in over the bumper and raises the front of the car off the ground. The tension is nice and tight.

These figures are great! I've picked up the whole set. They have reignited my interest in Lego.

Great review. I bought this 20% off online on the weekend. I was going to use it for parts for my own truck creation, but after looking through this review maybe I should have bought two!

This is awesome. Well done!

I bought the Simpsons house and realised I wanted some more Springfield landmarks, so I decided to start with the Comic Book Guy's Android's Dungeon. I've only just started trying the Lego Digital Designer so I should get better once I've used it a bit. I hope to refine the design in LDD some more and then get the parts and build it. I am still working out the interior, but I'm reasonably happy with the exterior so far. The dumpster was a design I saw on Flickr And yes, I'm new to this. The Simpsons house and minifigures has reactivated my interest in Lego!
