Another problem: when did Tahu gain a fifth finger? I know they created a new mold, but this is something to consider. And another: If the spider is a Visorak, why does it have six legs? If you look at the photos, it seems like there is a Kanohi and weird spider-like thing (does not look like a visorak) included in the sets we can see clearly. It completely follows the HF line over the past 2 years- include the main character and a smaller one to create a conflict. They've done brains and the creatures from this year's line-up, so it seems logical that it would continue on. @Vinyl Scratch: That is exactly my point. Tahu is supposed to have a normal Hau and the picture has a Hau Nuva, which creates a problem. If this is real, Greg Farshtey will explain all of this to us; if not, these are reasons it could be fake. Not aware of any. It would be productive for some BZP members who have some access to Greg Farshtey to ask him and see what he says.

This would be incredible! I hope the inspiration LEGO received from the Ninjago reboot inspired this. Surprised that they didn't modify the logo or change the name to suit the new receiving audience (kids who weren't around when this first existed). However, it seems to keep the HF building system, which could make things a bit more interesting. Could be fake because of this, but LEGO seemed to imply when HF 2.0 came out that this was the system that they were going to use from then on, so it does have some credibility. And, as much as it looks like an Avsa, it is probably meant to be the Ignika, even if this entire thing was faked. Possible flaws: The Lego logo is too flat against the side of the box. Tahu has a regular Hau, not a Hau Nuva! Regardless, I hope this is real!

LDD Hinge Tool Help
Master_Data replied to Master_Data's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I do that, but it is never able to close into a complete circle. I want to use part 2454 as the walls in order to minimize the number of bricks I need to get and to produce a larger tower. I will add some detail, but not until I can get the thing to close already. Thanks for the help! -
I actually prefer the prototype to the finished product.

LDD Hinge Tool Help
Master_Data replied to Master_Data's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I know how to do it, but the program is being very difficult. How can I get LDD to create equal angles which will create four equal quadrants? -
I wanted to create a rounded tower using the hinge plates as a base and moving up from there using 1x2s of various heights. However, I can't get the hinge plates to create a circle with equal quadrants. I want it to be round enough, but not too round. Can someone give me a few sets of angles I could use to do so?

Have you thought of using translucent orange/red (not sure about the official name, but it is the orange/red used on the magma monsters from the Power Miners theme). With your red underneath, it will create a better lava look. If you remove your red bricks and completely replace them with this colour, you could put some mini LED lights underneath to light up the lava.

The Where's My Pants Guy has a very similar head. The hair mold should be in production (not sure about that colour), but the only new part would be the torso. They could probably omit the leg printing while still getting the look of the figure from the show. However, based on the Chima and Friends books, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was a Nindroid.

Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary CUUSOO set Discussion
Master_Data replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Licensed
The promo video describing the development of the set from fan model to set is now up on the LEGO Youtube channel! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Br-csfJMph4 -
Lawrence Makoare plays Lurtz, Gothmog (does he count- he is in the video game?), and Bolg. Andy Serkis will probably have three by next year: Gollum, Witch-King, and whichever character he is playinf in Star Wars VII. If bigger figures and voice actors count, Mark Hamill is Luke Skywalker, The Joker (animated), and Von Nebula.

LEGO Rundown- Are All Themes Connected?
Master_Data replied to HardHatEric's topic in General LEGO Discussion
CMF is in the same universe as Blacktron (the Space Pirate and the Evil Mech). CMF is also in the same universe as the Adventurers- the Grandma went on adventures with Johnny Thunder! Based on The LEGO Movie, Fabuland, Blacktron, Knights Kingdom, Vikings, Bionicle, Western, City, Classic Space, Atlantis, Pirates, and many more are all connected (probably all of the themes are connected in that movie- Forest of Obsolete Products!). However, the connections in the movie shouldn't count towards this because: Chima seems to be in a separate universe.- 18 replies

You could use the bigger HF ball joints on the legs to provide more stability. Otherwise, great MOC!

That is so creative! Keep up the creativity!

Agreed. From further studying of that book, it would that AUJ was actually a 2013 theme and DoS was a 2014 theme. With BotFA being a 2014 release and not a winter 2015 release, could this leave a slot in 2015 for LotR sets?

As much as I want all of these sets to be a reality, I am not sure how many of these are actual sets which they will put into production. For example, look at Star Wars. We have seen pictures of a UCS Watto in one of these cases. There is no way they are releasing that. Some of these are just the designers own models and possible set ideas, not necessarily actual sets. I really hope these are actual sets. What is the one at the top left? I can spot what looks like Shelob, Lothlorien, Treebeard, Gandalf Arrives, Orthanc, Helms Deep, Bag End(?), a Bag End prototype, and a few unidentifiable grey shapes. What are they? I hope we get these as sets!

I never find anything like this. The best I have ever found is the giant castle chess set chess board and a C-3PO for 5. Where do you find deals and lots like these?

It was already confirmed for the most part from the LEGO Minifigure Year by Year book. I can't post a picture now, but look at page 245 in the general description of the LotR line-up for the year. To quote: Our problem is that we never saw those releases and have no idea if we will see them due to the mess PJ has created with the merchandising. What prelims?
