  1. There's no need to be frustrated at other users if you haven't seen the prelims yourselves... You should be able to find them if you are resourceful enough at searching. The images are still up on the original shopping site that published them (yes that's a hint) and they are on several other forum sites (another hint) that are not in compliance with Lego's guidelines. Good luck in searching for them.
  2. Wow, I've never seen so many changes between two prelims than in Jay's dragon! Besides the mini flyer (which I like exponentially more than the last one) the dragon's head, wings, and body changed drastically. I'm really sad the extremely great NPU of the Hero Factory jumper element used for the dragon nostrils was taken away, but every other change seems to be an improvement...
  3. Once I read that, I was really wishing the mini movie covered it. I guess it was cut because of time restraints? That's a shame.
  4. New trailer on Lego.com, featuring Knights "suiting up," some new villain shots, etc. Getting pretty hyped for this show!
  5. Huh. Not what I was expecting but I guess a lot of it is placeholder and he does wear the aviator goggles a lot in the series, so that choice does make sense. He looks more like a castaway to me, but maybe that's either placeholder or he gets captured... Well, it IS preliminary, so it could change drastically...
  6. Oh yeah, just realized that there's no Wu! Is he in the mini blimp with the aviator goggles? I can't tell is that's him...
  7. A sprue is a "piece of metal or plastic that has solidified in a sprue, especially one joining a number of small molded plastic items." (From Google) Lego has been using sprues for a long time, most notably with the flower elements. This probably belongs in the set discussion as we are talking about physical pieces, not the TV show
  8. Sprues ( this discussion doesn't belong here though)
  9. Not all of them have shooters, though... I thought the the targets may be just props, but examining the Technic assemblies behind them, you may be correct... Certainly not as fun as Spinjitsu, Speedorz, or Airjitsu...
  10. The Ultimate figs are certainly very interesting, and while it may be fun to play with the figures, I miss the game aspect of previous Action and Adventure Big Bang themes... The teams overload is so reminiscent of the old Space themes, and I really appreciate this...
  11. Anyway, since discussion is allowed, I'm going to share some thoughts. I really like Jay's Dragon, and the head is again superb (but not as inpressive as Master Wu's dragon IMO) The bike chase looks like a fun set for playing with and I'm sure kids will love it, but the bikes themselves aren't very unique. Cole's Dragon is better than the promo picture revealed yesterday makes it appear to be... It's a good dragon for its size The Sky Shark looks pretty good, but take away the treasure chests and anchors and give it a new color scheme and it would work as a generic spaceship Zeppelin is much better and is really unique, but Zane's flier is a bit dubious Tiger Widow island is nice; the mini blimp is so cute! 70605 is one of the best and my favorites; the whole shaping makes it so much more unique than the Sky Shark
  12. I did, and am awaiting a reply. If you're interested, here's the list of cracked parts. It's rather lengthy, no? Set #71204 Doctor Who Level Pack 4211399 x2 4211476 x1 Set #71206 - Scooby Doo Team Pack -4164022 x2 -4220634 x2 -6123745 x2 -6070757 x1 -4565387 x3 -4654128 x2 -6071246 x1 -4211398 x2 -6092587 x1 Set #71216 - Nya Fun Pack -4540382 x2 Set #71221 Wicked Witch Fun Pack -4565363 x1 Set #71217 Zane Fun Pack -306901 x1 -4521921 x1 -4504380 x1 Set #71203 Portal Level Pack -302301 x2 -6124825 x1 -302026 x1 Set #71232 Eris Fun Pack -407001 x2
  13. I posted this in the Dimensions Discussion in Media and Gaming, but figured it warranted a post here. My Lego Dimensions bricks are cracking within days of purchase, and they are just sitting on the shelf. I have been in touch with Customer Service and I sent them what I thought was the complete list of cracked parts, only to discover that my newest purchase of a few days ago, the Doctor Who pack, has K9 cracking in several bricks. Is anyone else getting this issue? It's extremely strange as it ONLY happens with Dimensions sets. I have other sets sitting on the same shelf for a few years now, and no part has cracked, so it's not the environment. Very, very disappointingly perplexing. Has anyone else had this issue? EDIT: I just realized that every single pack I bought from a specific Target store has cracked parts. Packs purchased in different stores (even different Targets) have no cracking parts. Must have been a bad batch...
  14. Contacted Lego about the cracked parts; as usual they have great customer service and will sent me replacements. Sad to say, 5 of K9's parts have already cracked within a few days of purchase... (What did I do to deserve this???)
  15. Sorry if the tone was misunderstood, it was never my intent to argue with you, just offer my opinion...
  16. Agreed. Also, they did this for Chima, and I don't see why not for NK...
  17. Nice, really? That's so weird this early! Take a pic!
  18. Haha, that's so funny! I mixed up my prisons from two different themes! (Iron Heights is from DC) Sorry for the error, fixed! Thanks for pointing it out!
  19. If that's really the Nunchucks of Lightning in the poster and not just an artist liberty, this makes a lot of sense.
  20. Makes sense... She's the least "interesting" of the lot, being just a normal human and not a Silurian or Sontaran. There are some perplexing voice disparities, the most grievous being that all Ninjago characters aren't voiced by any of the original actors (as well as Chima). Since no Ninjago or Chima video games have featured these voice actors before, I assume it's.... Cartoon Network licensing issues ...(?). Vincent Tong (Kai's voice actor) has stated that he would love to voice Kai in the games, so he must not have declined... (Side note: for some reason, Madame Vastra has a regular minding head with a head attachment to symbolize the back "frills," but the other Silurians featured have sculpted heads in game...)
  21. No, it's a green snake. It uses the Anacondrai head mold, but people seem to forget that in 2012, head molds were shared between tribes frequently. It's not an Anacondrai.
  22. I haven't found Jenny yet... I'm not sure if she's actually on the game, although she's been mentioned a lot. Perhaps they couldn't get the voice actress?
  23. Really impressed with the dedication to the DW world and the wide variety of characters present in the DW level pack! I found several characters, aliens, references, and more interesting points including: The Paternoster Gang Ice Warriors Ood Clockwork Droids Rusty the Dalek The Silence Jack Harkness Autons Osgood Cybermats Cybermen Daleks Weeping Angels Zygons Torchwood The Moment Different TARDIS for 4th Doctor if the day is a multiple of 4 The TARDIS changes its theme song depending on the current Doctor Matt Smith will do the drunken giraffe dance at random moments (and it's hilariously cute) Quite a nice roster if you ask me, and knowing me, I'm sure I've missed some. Really appreciate the dedication to the source material in this pack!
  24. Yeah, it's really odd. I examined my sets and every single one of my 10 Dimensions sets, and 8 of them have at least 1 cracked brick... It's really strange as I store several other sets with them and they haven't cracked. Will contact CS...
  25. I watched a Let's Play for the instructions ;) EDIT: nvm, Klodsbrick linked it above.
