  1. Thought it was Nadakhan at first too, but the ending shot shows Nadakhan watching the Commissioner send the ninja away, so I guess it's the latter. Not sure why that would be included, though, as it was pretty random.
  2. Was just thinking about it... What was up with the Commissioner's twitching eye? It was featured so prominently in the episode, and I didn't really see it as a joke... I wonder why so much attention was paid to it at random points in the episode. I guess maybe the joke was that he was so stressed about catching the ninja that his eye was twitching? Seems like an odd inclusion unless it means something...

  4. Hey everyone, There was some talk on the Nexo Knights TV show thread about posting the shields that can be scanned into the NK app, so I went ahead and took a template starter shield image from the TTV Message boards, and edited it to show all existing shields thus far... Enjoy! -picture removed as super outdated- Now there are over 90 shields, so I recommend the Nexo Powers Google community as the people there find literally EVERYTHING
  5. I'm making a post now in Lego Media of all the shields discovered thus far.
  6. Yeah, there's a lot of evidence that she's female in Lego.com. I would trust that over the app, as listening to Flama's voice again, it's pretty ambiguous.
  7. What? Huh. The only rumors I heard was for the UCS life size Jar- Jar statue with commemorative solid platinum Jar-Jar min figures being hidden in different sets... On a serious note, seems like every store I've been to (Lego store, Target, BnN) is sold out of Kylo Ren and Rey... Shame as those were the two I was most looking forward to. Got Phasma and Poe, though.
  8. I'll refer you to my original post about the matter... :) Anyway, been thinking about Ronin's character... As much as I like the ruthless, heartless bounty hunter vibe he has going on right now, he pretty much started off last season as that and underwent character development to make him care for others and his friends... and now at the start of the season, he's back to being a cold bounty hunter only in it for the money... seems like the Hagenman Bros are now just using him as an -insert bounty hunter here- character like Boba Fett with no real, legitimate motivations except money. I miss the old Ronin...
  9. They actually made a misstep with that; the village they went to is the hometown of Cole's father and was accidentally called Jamanakai. A side note: when fighting Nadakhan, I wonder if wishing Nadakhan to return to the Teapot of Tyrhan will actually work...
  10. An app that also reprises all the original voice actors from the series, including a male voice for Flama.
  11. Yeah, Chima's a pretty bad show, and it only gets "ok" at the last season. Ninjago, on the other hand, is fantastic. I highly recommend it if you haven't watched it yet.
  12. Just watched the HD episode... It was alright, but a bit too unevenly paced in my opinion. I thought the episode would start off with the Sensei vs Nadakhan fight as detailed in one of the activity books in great length (including Sensei's wishes and how they got turned against him) but that sadly was left up to the imagination. I did, however, like Ronin's new character portrayal. Really brings out the bounty hunter aspect, which was great, and he singlehandedly took out all the ninja, which was very impressive if not a bit too brisk. I would have preferred his pursuit to last at least two episodes, but I understand there's a lot left for the series to cover. Also, the way Nadakhan tricked Misako was pretty great. More Nadakhan makes every episode better. I can't wait to see where the whole "Nadakhan's dead love" thing is going (and knowing Ninjago, she ain't dead) and look forward to more. I'm also excited to see the other realms. Is the next episode tomorrow?
  13. Not exactly... He went to Nadakhan to request three wishes to help him defeat the ninja (getting a mortal body, getting his spell book back, etc) but was tricked. The only reason Nadakhan's after the ninja is because he wants to use the realm crystal in their possession to rescue his crew and long-lost love from their exile in various realms
  14. I noticed that the blurry cam job of part 1 is up on your channel... Any ETA on the HD version? Thanks!
  15. It's from the TV show; here's a pic:
  16. Eh, I guess that's your opinion of the franchises though. The only "lame" franchise I can think of that is near unanimous is Midway Arcade, and even that has a lot of nostalgic fans. All the other ones have large followings and are big pop culture icons, like DC, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Portal, the Simpsons, etc
  17. There's actually a whole lot of idle character dialogue, as highlighted in this video ( ), and character reactions to vehicles ( ). Those things were the kinds of things I liked from the game...
  18. Overall the episode was a nice opener; it didn't pack quite of a punch as the fantastic Possession opener what with all the rim wasted with ninja celebrity antics, but it was quite good and I really like Nadakhan's voice (as well as all the other voices Scott McNeil does). Nadakhan is already shaping up to be a fun and enigmatic villain, and I love how he already showed how smart and... Not... whiny he is, especially after Morro and Chen. The presence of the Make a Wish Foundation is odd as it actually exists, and unlike Twitter where they used a different word, they used its exact name. Perhaps it was to offer a parallel to Nadakhan's wish-centered character. Having a villain who grants any three wishes is pretty interesting, given how Nadakhan always twists these wishes to his advantage. Wonder why no one just wishes him to go back to his lantern... On a different note, I really don't like how she's being handled this season... Didn't we already get over the fact that she's as good as the guys? I guess I just want more character development from her like in Possession...
  19. Yes, lava Jestro is rumored for the summer wave, which is why we don't think this version will be appearing again.
  20. The app has potentially revealed more summer designs... It had a massive shield update around yesterday, bringing in a bunch more designs (including the classic space one), most of which I suspect are from the summer wave, because of the slightly apparent Ultimate tie - ins. What's most intriguing, however, is the presence of five, knight armor colored shields, with a graphic behind them displaying new armor. At first I thought it was a throwaway sample armor graphic, but the presence of matching shields for the Knights to go with the armor screamed intentional for the summer wave... Here's the pic:
  21. Thanks! A brief summary would be really nice if you included it in the review, with spoiler tags of course. Too bad you won't post the full episode, though :(
  22. But character customization goes against the very fiber of the game... How would they work that in with the character chips? Customization was one of the most "meh" aspects of every Lego game, and I'm actually glad they didn't try to shoehorn it into Lego Dimensions. Plus, the mashup occurred best in the levels, with enemies from a bunch of different franchises assaulting you in different worlds, with puzzles relating to many franchises at once. Anyway, to each his own, I guess...
