  1. Jay Walker is such a joke/fake name that I can see this as completely possible...
  2. Yeah, this is one of my only disappointments for the set...
  3. Edit: The spooky girl's hair DOES come in brown, at least next year. A Nexo Knights character has it.
  4. I predict the King will show up sometime in the summer wave, as he is featured in the trailer and not in any sets, much like the lion king Lavertus from Legends of Chima in 2013. Given this theme is rather similar, perhaps it'll happen.
  5. In the meantime, here's a topic in Culture and Multimedia for the TV show discussion!
  6. Lego Nexo Knights TV Show was announced! Trailer 1: Trailer 2: What do you think? Edit: Press Release: "Television Series LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS, a 20-episode, animated adventure comedy series, will debut on select global broadcast television networks as soon as late December 2015 and air throughout 2016. The core means by which children follow the story and get to know the characters, the series follows the constant adventures of LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS heroes and villains. Children will also be able to scan new LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS powers directly from their content viewing screen into their app games, further connecting their play experience."
  7. Love the voices we've heard so far for the TV series, especially Jestro's!
  8. At first I though Black Widow's hair, but after checking Bricklink, I have a few possible alternatives: If this came in brown, it would maybe fit, but it works a lot better for Rose. Perhaps this is a good alternative? I think this would also look fairly good and fit well. Those are really the only working ones that come in brown...
  9. Yeah, I expect a CMF series even more then sets, as DW has always been character-based... New Sonic Screwdriver molds for each of the different doctors would be tricky, though...
  10. Oh! So many good ones here. After looking at the Ideas lineup, it's certainly produced great sets. I'm stuck between the Ecto-1, Wall-E, the Exo Suit, and (a no-brainer for me) Doctor Who. I wish multiple replies were allowed, but I'm going for Doctor Who.
  11. Re-looking at the set, it's a shame that the doors have no way of opening (or perhaps I'm just missing it)... It's kind of an integral part to the TARDIS, but I'm not sure how it could be pulled off without compromising the look. Also, I wish there were more minfigures. 4 (six if you count the Daleks) is a bit disappointing given the high mini figure count in the Big Bang Theory set. I get that TBBT's minifig count wasn't standard, but a Cyberman, Zygon, Rose, Amy, Rory, or better, the tenth and ninth doctors would have been nice. I'm really, really hoping that this gets more sets in the theme, although as mentioned in this thread before, DW isn't really vehicle-based. I foresee some sort of thing like the Simpsons line, with a big set each year and a minifigure series (which would be stellar).
  12. If you're referring to the image above your post, no, that's just the Ideas submission. If you're referring to the two linked drawing of the set, those drawings are interpretations of the final set. No official images yet.
  13. Oh, I meant the in-game TARDIS appearance, not the mini build.
  14. Oh, the teaser image is great! It's so much more of an improvement over the Dimensions TARDIS. The windows, hinges, everything is just perfect!
  15. Yeah, they really came out of nowhere! Shame the character designs were even in the game but they were only included for a few seconds. I wish I could fight/be one.
  16. As a fan of Ninjago and Bionicle, I am very, very hyped for this theme... I still think that this belongs in the A&A forum to be more well-received, but I won't continue to talk about that...
  17. Hey all, I was recently inspired by a desktop background of all the doctors (www.wallpapervortex.com/wallpaper-46354_doctor_who_all_12...), and I decided to make my one Lego one, photoshopping all the doctors from the Lego Dimensions trailer. I figured some Whovians here would enjoy it. Here it is, but there's a bigger version (1920 x 1080) on my flickr here: https://www.flickr.c...eposted-public/ Cheers! legozebra
  18. Team Pack: Lord Vortech and VorTech Minion. Comes with a flying throne for Vortech and a Vortech Brick Cannon. Yeah, the motorbike is probably more suitable. I just mentioned the speeder as I thought it would be more fun than a regular bike :)
  19. Agreed. Unfortunately, SDCC seems to be reserved for next year's sets...
  20. Fingers crossed it will be revealed at BrickCon, the Lego convention in Seattle this weekend. Last year the UCS Slave 1 was revealed there, so I don't see why not. I'm going and am hoping to see it in person...
  21. Doctor Who: Team Pack: Rose Tyler and Mickey Smith (both with the giant Dalek-killing cannons). Mickey has his van from the alternate world, while Rose has a... Car... Turret... Thing? Not sure... Fun Pack: Clara Oswald. Also includes the Speeder from Rings of Akhaten (which would be great fun in the game) Team Pack: Madame Vastra and Jenny. Includes a carriage and a ... something... Fun Pack: Strax. Includes a Sontaran Ship Ninjago: Level Pack: Morro. Includes Morro dragon and Preeminent Fun Pack: Wrayth. Includes Chain Cycle Team Pack: Neuro and Skylor. Includes Elemental Mind Dragon and Hoverboard Fun Pack: Dareth. Includes X-1 Ninja Charger
  22. After watching all the cutscenes, the story seems dynamic and funny overall, but with a few issues: - Since the game had to be completely playable with just Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle, the story was more along the lines of the trio visiting and fighting in different worlds than the worlds coming together, at least until sort of the end of the game. - AT the times when worlds did collide, it was always a DC villain terrorizing the world with one exception: Joker attacked Springfield, Lex attacked Ninjago, Zod attacked the Ghostbusters, the Riddler attacked Middle-Earth, etc. The one exception was when Sauron and the Daleks attacked Metropolis, which was very, very nice, and I wished there were more things like that. - Jurassic World wasn't even in the storyline, and one Chima vehicle made a cameo appearance in Middle-Earth... No exploration through those two realms. - At the end, there was an attempt to bring the heroes together, with Batman recruiting the Ghostbusters, Scooby's Gang, GLADOS, the Doctor, and a Midway Arcade spaceship, but only the latter three actually were featured, and only the Doctor was heavily featured (which I don't mind at all being a huge fan of DW, but it would have been nice to have more theme representation.) - Most of the characters included in the packs barely made any appearances. Benny had a 5 second appearance, the ninjas from Ninjago were seen in a 2 second scene, and overall it really just focused on the main trio. - There was a truly horrifying creepy and frightening moment when Vortech
  23. There's still the possibility for an alt face, but it's unlikely as the set is already most likely in production. Also, since your half image has no watermark, what's stopping you from posting it? (If you don't mind me asking) I wonder if the TARDIS is half 12th and half 11th, which is why the half CM4Sci has only shows 12 and Clara... Also, in other news, Zygons and Special Weapons Daleks appear in LEGO Dimensions, so fingers crossed we get them in some set form.
  24. According to FBTB, there's a Best Buy Membership discount activated after paying $150 (or something like that) Here's some updated calculations based on that: WITH Best Buy Discount $100 $25 * 2 = $50 $25 * 2 = $50 - 40% of each = $30 $30 * 6 = $180 - 40% of each = $108 $15 * 27 = $405 - 40% of each = $243 Total $531 Saved $254
  25. I want a fez/Matt's hair melded element now....
