I agree... There was a lot of hinting in the legend reborn about the Element Lords deserting them and Mata Nui convinced they had survived... If I were to wager a guess perhaps the element lords created new and more advanced beings (I.e skull spiders) and no longer have need for Toa so they have returned to destroy their previous creation... I dunno though

It was more of a collection of sets in a display, but if I recall, it included a larger windmill-type thing, possible 3679 (http://brickset.com/sets/3679-1/Flour-Mill-and-Shop)

It shouldn't make a difference, but maybe you can try... -

Thanks for the heads up, never noticed that. -
Love the MOC, I remember when I had read the books when they first came out and pictured the vat almost exactly like this... Thanks for bringing back some nostalgia.

LOVE how you shaped the head, the newer HF armor piece over the old Rakshi head is a really nice fit... Also nice job on the Skrall blades as spines!

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?
DuckBricks replied to KingPixels's topic in Community
I agree... I wouldn't want to support the counterfeit brands as this is what they want you to do. -

My 2 best finds were probably while I was in Europe on vacation... I was visiting Salzburg and was part of a tour. We had decided to stop to eat at a very small village, and to my suprise, we discovered a small toy store! In the display was a Fabuland set, which instantly caught my attention. Upon entering the shop, I scored 4520 (http://brickset.com/sets/4520-1/Curved-Rails), 8108 (http://brickset.com/sets/8108-1/Mobile-Devastator), 4090 (http://brickset.com/sets/4090-1/Motion-Madness), 7021 (http://brickset.com/sets/7021-1/Viking-Double-Catapault-versus-the-Armoured-Ofnir-Dragon) and 7020 (http://brickset.com/sets/7020-1/Army-of-Vikings-with-Heavy-Artillery-Wagon). 7021 was perplexing as I knew it was a limited release only in NA (correct me if I'm wrong), so I had no idea why it was there. All these I got for just 70 euros. In addition, the store manager went to his stockroom and gave me 5 Bionicle "booster packs" for free because we had bought so much. (The booster packs had multicolor Rhotuka, gold and silver metallic zamor spheres, blue and purplish squids, and best of all, the Power Pack with the chrome silver Hau. Unfortunately, he wouldn't let me buy the Fabuland set as it was a "display model only." (Darn darn darnedy darn!) My second find was in Munich when I had discovered a toy store stocking 7070 (http://brickset.com/sets/7070-1/Catapult-Raft) for 1 euro. It was a completely undesirable set aside from the chrome sword it came with. I bought one the first day (as they only had one), and returned the next day to find it restocked. I returned for 5 more subsequent days and got several chrome swords... Overall, these were my best finds (IMO)....

Are Inika builds really that awkwardly-proportioned?
DuckBricks replied to Lord-Vorahk's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I agree... I'm not sure why the Inika were targeted as such. Must have been the MOCers deep-seated hatred for those "useless" rubber masks. -
Lego 10000--OMG! A Very Strange Set!
DuckBricks replied to VintageLegoEra's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I would have been happy to get that horse instead ;) but I agree, it is always frustrating when TLG makes a mistake... -
I have no idea at this point... The website shows all the fire vs ice sets except for the ultra builds. My guess is that they will not be released and if anyone complains because they saw it in the magazine lego will just say product availability varies in different countries...

No, I didn't mean it that way... I haven't even read Exxtrooper's post. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was simply saying that I have heard that people are claiming that LEGO asked them to take down photos, and I quite frankly do not know if I can believe that without evidence... Looks like Kopaka to me... Or maybe because I love all the Ice Toa... I wonder if they would do mask packs like collectable minifigures...

After all, we have no real solid proof that TLG actually told the posters to take it down. They could of course be making it up as a joke or some attention-getting gimmick... From what I see in the images, Tahu and Kopaka (?? or Takanuva) are quite tall... I agree... All I see are Tahu and what I think is Kopaka...

How to create helmet
DuckBricks replied to Reg the ARC Trooper's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I would assume you would need a 3-D printer... I have printed custom parts before, but usually I have friends design them for me.. -
Is this a good place to post pictures of custom Blacktron figs (Nice job, btw). I have amassed an army of 30 or so of those variants you have created, expect with the Paintballer helmet and Evil Mech arms...
