  1. Well, you never know. Before I had discovered Bricklink (many, many years ago) I had ordered bulk "LEGO" where the seller said it was 100% LEGO. It turned out to be over 50% Me**Blo**s and other junk like Shifty and Enlighten. So I would never trust those "100% LEGO" labels because they could be either making a mistake or lying...
  2. I agree, and I also think that his recent revival in The LEGO Movie was great, but not enough. We need a full scale theme about him!
  3. I know that some LEGO Club magazines had "Brickbeard's Pirate Map" for the newer 2009 Pirate sets, but it was mostly just detailing all the sets. As for the older pirate sets, there wasn't any predetermined landscape/geography as far as I'm concerned...
  4. Hello Eurobricks, I was just in my local Target yesterday and noticed a peculiarity with the X-1 Ninja Charger box... There was printing on the box of punch tabs, but no place to punch as the cardboard wasn't perforated. Instead, there was the standard LEGO box tape over the pictures of punch tabs. Has anyone experienced this before in the ninja box or any other box?
  5. I agree, but I still wish one villain would return like Ogel, Sam Sinister, Basil the Batlord, or any of those classic villains...
  6. Yes, and if I believe so, Infearno's fires consisted of a mysterious purple molecule as well... Yeah, the poster in the mall (in the game) of that boxer hints that Tremor was the same man... Perhaps he was mutated by the MoonStones? I love the set as well, and surprisingly, the silver guns on the side do not fall off as easily as I thought! (Well, I already lost one, but...) The ejector seat seems to work ok for me, even with the windshield down... I totally agree. I own both, and was a tad disappointed with the lack of minifigures I could fit in the new truck while it was closed. I managed to secure a space for two of their jetpacks on top of the center control console, but only barely managed to squeeze the whole team in...
  7. If anyone has played the game and discovered all of the "hidden interactivity" spots with the X-Ray, etc almost every single one has to do with some mysterious purple molecule or crystal. The cloaked being teleporting into the Agent Mobile HQ was made up of purple molecules, and this same cloaked figure is a sticker on the viewscreen of the Hurricane Heist vehicle seemingly having Facetime with Psyclone... I personally would love to see him in a set, but I sure hope he removes the cloak to reveal something else (as a cloaked minifigure, no matter how interestingly printed, is still kinda boring, unless we get two iterations)... I agree, it seems like the previous Agents went more places (snowmobiles, subs, really awesome helicopters , etc)
  8. Ok, the female minifigure set was inaccurate, but Hero Factory has been out since 2010, Ninjago has been out since 2011 and Chima came out in 2013...
  9. You got it! I took out the motherboard and soldered it to some old headphones (as the speaker is damaged), and I could hear the sound. Thanks so much, everyone! Yes, the speaker's membrane was damaged... Luckily I, too have a copy of the set (somewhere around my LEGO lair) So it isn't much of a problem.
  10. *Cough flick-fire missiles Cough* Anyway, I thought it was a pretty good article, but they were quite misinformed on LEGO... Wyldstyle is one example, but there is the new Research Labaratory (Female Minifigure set) coming out, two female Ultra Agents members, leading female Ninjago and Chima characters, and even female Hero Factory characters. This seems similar to the letter the little girl had sent to LEGO a while back, and they were proved wrong again.
  11. Hello Everyone, An old friend of mine just gave me all of his old LEGO, with bricks ranging from those that say "patent pending" to recent Hero Factory weapons. Basically, I have no idea how old/new the brick in question is. It is one of the more recent sound bricks, and unfortunately the batteries were dead. When I changed the batteries, it didn't work... the side states "2016," and what I can see of the motherboard says 2016 as well. Any ideas? legozebra EDIT: The motherboard states: 54870, 20A 84875(00-08)PCB COPYRIGHT LEGO COMPANY 2005/12/14 2006 C1 0553 S1
  12. I personally love how you constructed them; it looks like they could have been sets back then. And the "cheesy" names are great!
  13. VERY nice. As a MAJOR Blacktron fan, I really think these are amazing! I have already replicated your Blacktron Fighter Deltas and your work has inspired me to construct larger scale Blacktron ships.
  14. Hello all, I am attempting to rebuild the Blacktron Message-Intercept Base, and have sorted every party except for the "Trans-Yellow Panel 10 x 10 x 12 Quarter Dome" I am willing to trade one or maybe two Series one zombies for this piece. Please PM me at legozebra@gmail.com if AT ALL interested... i am only short this piece to complete my set. Thank you very much, legozebra
  15. You make a good point - but those bugs were mosquitoes and beetles(?? that's what they looked like to me...), while the Chima bugs were spiders and scorpions. I was doubtful of a new underwater theme as (knowing LEGO) the baddies would include a shark tribe, which we have already gotten in Atlantis, as well as crabs, hammerheads, squids, manta rays, angler fish, etc... I can't think of a different sea creature marketable to kids besides maybe eels... But I am hopeful as much as you to get an underwater theme as well.
  16. I, too was imagining a water theme, but then realized that LEGO is trying to stay away from stuff they have already done in other themes (minifig sea creatures for Atlantis)... I mentioned the Constraction figures not being released in the US to a LEGO store employee, who then smiled and said that he's not sure sure about that. Part of me is hoping he's right, but I know that that's not the case as the LEGO CEE team stated it.
  17. Did anyone think of the mini Metalbeard from the Sea Cow when they saw this?
  18. The bow screams awesomeness... Love how the "strings" are actually used to fire the Zamor Sphere... Is it possible to post instructions? I'm planning on picking this one up on my trip to Asia this summer.
  19. LOVE the spikes on the back, the construction is innovative and unique!
  20. I love the Bohrok's second pose, it looks great and intimidating (when I was little I always called the sets "chickens" because of that motion, but you have made it much better!)
  21. I love the feet and legs! Great for a first MOC!
  22. Nice MOC! Love the last pic! Never thought of that!
  23. You could do what EVO97 recommends, (which I do recommend if you want the sets as well), but if you just want the minifigures, perhaps Bricklink would be your best option...
  24. I agree, VBBN's awesome review has pushed me into purchasing this!
  25. Hello Singaporean users, I am traveling to Malaysia and Singapore this summer, and am wondering if anyone can recommend stores that sell discontinued Lego... Any suggestions? Thanks!
