I bought multiple packets of 'Flair' plasticine online at amazon and ebay for my claymation projects, but if you only want shades of blue, I recommend the Newplast brand, where you can get specific colours, and in good quantity. Newplast has also been used in big Stop-Motion productions. I advise you to stay away from playdough and kiln-blast clay, they don't work at all, as they dry up and harden.

This is a brickfilm I made for the Easter contest held over at Bricksinmotion. This was the first time I had animated in over a year, it feels good, thus why there is alot of technical problems with the brickfilm such as light flicker and audio problems.

I love how you packed a fair amount of detail into the table. I like it alot! Your storytelling is again, impressive as always!

I would do what Captain Becker suggested, that being build the interior set that you would want to get shot. For water flooding in, I would use blue plasticine, but animate it in a way that looks and moves like real water, so it fits in with the rest of the animation. Do you have in mind when this project will be complete? I too do brickfilms, and begun writing a short Pirate story that I'd like to animate or turn into a comic.

Brethren of the Brick Seas Poll
Slurpifier replied to SkaForHire's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I voted for Eslandola, as it appeals the most to me, even though I only have a few green pirate torso'd figures. I was going to vote Olean, as I managed to build up a small army of 9 new Bluecoat soldiers, but Eslandola is my main interest. -
Even though I did say earlier it seemed like Disney were milking the francise a bit, I am sort of happy for the way they sorted the EU. Everything after Episode VI was, just a mess waiting to be cleaned, and I greatly welcome that that is all Non-Canon. However, I am sad that the Old Republic (KOTOR included) is now considered Non-Canon; that section of EU was the only bit of EU I liked.

I know I'm off topic here, but how does one access Bricks and Pieces? The only thing remotely close I get is the Customer Service page with missing and broken pieces.

Impressed with all the detailing at this scale! My favourite would have to be the 'Panzerspähwagen sdKfz 222', mainly due to what you have achieved with it!

Overtime for me then.

Brethren of the Brick Seas?

Looks nice! I should probably do the same when I get back to my collection! -
Brethren of the Brick Seas?

I have a few of the new Green Pirate sleeved torso's; would that combined with white legs and a black tricorne (only have two of) be any good? I would try to build it myself, but I haven't been with my collection in over 3 weeks. -

What sort of torso's would be ideal for Greencoat soldiers? -
Two Star Wars films inside half a year may be pretty good, but I think Disney are trying to milk the license a little bit. Sure, anything with 'Star Wars' on it will gaurantee a good bit of profit, and I can see why Disney are pushing out so much Star Wars material in such a short space of time, but I just feel they are going a little overboard. I'm not annoyed at all about it, in fact, I'm happy about the attention Star Wars has got lately, but it is just my general view about what Disney have and are planning to do.

Took this shot last week. Not really pleased with it if I am being honest.

Ah yes. It looks alright if I'm honest, if none of the skin was shown, it would be better. Thanks for the link to the image!

I hope I can get the Chess set, and if I can, I must Bricklink a few Shako's for the Bluecoats. Although sort of related to the new sets, do you think that the new Green Sleeved Pirate torso, combined with a Shako, red epaulettes and white legs, could make a good Fictional Greencoat?

Just got mines today! Love the new Jawa and C-3PO figures, as well as the droid minifigs! Thanks CopMike! -
Im with 'markus1984' on this, the Rebel's version is inferior to the new OT one. Its sad that Lego didn't make the new 2014 OT Stormtrooper more widely availible this year; even if it was a MicroFighter set, I would have been pleased. I only have a couple of the new OT one, but I hope Lego put them into a set next year that is affordable to army build.

Im a bit more excited about the Constraction sets now, by the arrival of news of the Stormtrooper and Boba Fett figure. I may just collect up the whole Constraction line now!

What other pirate movie franchise could Pirate sets be based on?
Slurpifier replied to Mazin's topic in LEGO Pirates
A much more recent film 'Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!' Saw this Aardman animated film in 2012, and really think that kids would love it! -

Thank you very much CopMike! Usually is hard to post that many packages, especially in a day! -
For the past few years, animation, photography and cycling are my main hobbies along with Lego. I also do drawing, comic book making, action figure collecting, model making and car restoration. Just last week I began learning to code for video games, and a friend and I have began work on an independant project that takes place after school and work hours.

The ray gun pieces deserve credit! Never would have thought about using them for knee-ankle points. The positioning is menacing, and the skinned, bloodied bodies add a nice touch aswell!
-
Just bought two Shipwreck Defense's, and I am pretty pleased with it! The new bandana's are greatly welcomed; I love them! My only nitpick is the Bluecoat's epaulettes; they would be better in red than white!

That is cool! Loving the detail! Must pick this one up!
