  1. I'm just going to go all out here; I think we should all just honestly give it a break, and stop complaining about the inaccuracies. Its a child's toy, deal with it. I know I have, so stop complaining about these tiny little details as if it is going to end the world, because guess what; it isn't. Lego doesn't care that one or two fans are annoyed by little off prints here and there, they are more concerned about the sales of these sets come the 4th of September. I honestly feel like sleeping for the next eight and a half weeks, if these stupid complaints keep occurring here.
  2. Im with 'Darth_Brick360' and 'Peasantseverywhere', in being that I'm impressed with the minifigures! Inaccurate you say? Gosh, Lego is a toy, not an expensive Sideshow Collectibles display piece, trying to capture every square inch of detail to please all the customers in being as movie accurate as possible. Honestly, that's my favourite thing of buying Lego minifigures; the detail isn't all captured, and creates a nice, Lego feel to it. If I wanted movie accurate characters, I'd either shell out a load of money on extremely custom printed minifigures, or buy the Hasbro and Sideshow Collectible counterparts.

  4. The image isn't working now ;( Can someone do me a favour that has the photo of BB-8 saved and please send it to me? Many thanks!
  5. *Ignore; was a double post*

  7. Years ago I always wanted moveable short legs, but as I got older that grew out of me. I just want everything kept the same; no moveable elbows, no jointed knees, no moveable short legs-the minifigures may as well be poseable action figures at that rate! My reasoning is for nostalgic reasons; as a child, I loved the simpliticty of the minifigure, and I'm sure children love that too. So why change it?
  8. I like the updated Wedge you made IronFish!
  9. This is very good for a first brickfilm, much, much better than my first brickfilm. Found it funny how the guard was very worried about his phone; quite unfortunately realistic in todays world! You should continue to make brickfilms!
  10. I thought it was enjoyable. Some downsides to it, where I wished it focused more on the actual Lego business, rather than the sub-plot of Mark as an AFOL and his journey in making his dream a reality. I don't disapprove of this, (I did like it!) but things like that would be more suited in a different documentary. I wished we could have also seen a bit more of the designing process, even if it was for sets released last year, and even if it was staged. Events like that answer our questions on what goes in to designing the set, and what makes it the final product. I did enjoy the sub-plot of Justin and his journey into being a Lego Set Designer. If I am honest, I've never seen someone with so much passion for loving Lego.
  11. Ordered the 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer for £102 off of Amazon. I really wish it was discounted in my area, but sadly it isn't. I'll wait to around Christmas time to buy a few more when they are on offer.
  12. I'd imagine Lego could possibly do a chrome version of Captain Phasma for a May the 4th promotion, it seems almot fitting, unless they have something else planned instead. Anyways, is anyone a master at photoshop, and could recolour the Captain Phasma image so the armour is white? Would like to see what the First Order Stormtrooper would look like!
  13. She looks pretty beast, if I am being honest! Slap on a cape and it'll exceed my expectations! Seeing the helmet mould only makes me wait even more anxiously for images of the Lego version of the First Order Stormtrooper!
  14. I didn't say that I dislike the Constraction Figure at all. I merely just pointed out that TLG doing a reveal of a Constraction figure would generate negative criticism, clearly shown in this thread. Lots of comments here on Eurobricks, Brickset, Flickr, Youtube; the list goes on, seem to have a distaste for these Constraction Figures. I do agree with you; TLG don't really give a whoop about what we think about it, as long as it makes them money when The Force Awakens is released.
  15. I did catch on to the theme when Entertainment Weekly published images of the three companies Star Wars reveals yesterday. Obviously I'm speaking out of my own opinion that Lego shouldn't have revealed a Constraction Figure, due to the amount of hate it generates. But then again, it is Disney who play the cards on who gets to reveal what at this stage.
  16. Where I live, Lego Calendars sell quite poorly as most children are more interested in their iPad virtual app calendars and whatnot. Toymaster just straight after Christmas had a few Lego Star Wars Calendars on sale for about £17.99 a piece as they didn't sell that many at all.
  17. Oh, my bad. If thats the case, its sort of weird for that reveal then by TLG. Obviously, the other two toy releases (by Mattel and Hasbro) are First Order Stormtroopers as well, that are slated for a 4th of September release. TLG could have (or honestly should have) revealed Rey's speeder instead.
  18. More than certain that the First Order Stormtrooper is to be released on the 4th of September, so it should stay here.
  19. Probably the best Constraction figure to date in my own opinion. Between Hasbro, Anovos and Lego, I'm surely going to be in trouble when all this merchandise is released!
  20. The Advent Calendars usually go on sale after Chritsmas, quite remarkably in fact. Most Star Wars Advent Calendars usually retail at around £24.99, and I've seen some of them put on sale for as cheap as £14.99 after Christmas season in local toy stores. If thats the case this year, I might buy about five or six to stock up on a few more Stormtroopers (although five or six more Jawa's sound even nicer to my mind haha)
  21. Yes, as they are being made in China, it would probably save a lot of money to opt for cheaper plastic. My only complaints is the compatibility of certain minifigure parts. For example, when I place minifigure heads made from the Chinese plastic on the normal Lego torso's, the heads seem to be quite loose. I haven't tried removing hands, legs or arms, but I'd bet they would have the same result. Honestly though, its still Lego to me, so I'm not that bothered by it!
  22. The Lego Star Wars 7680 Twilight. I just don't know what went wrong there, it just wasn't designed with enough space, and looked ugly.
  23. I think in its current state, Lego Worlds is performing far more better than they had expected it to be. I'm gonna pop into Argo's on the way home from work, so I can buy a Steam £20 gift card (and obviously some Lego!) to purchase the game later today. Im excited.
