Would the one on the right be of any use to you? (32 drawers, 1 tray) I've got 16 of those, Bought these second hand and only put lego in 6 of them for a while but I'm no longer using them at all. (don't want to mix my sets (collector) and don't have the budget to buy multiple sets.) You can pick these up (All 16 or just what you need) for a fair price at my house (In a city very close to Alkmaar), But I'm not shipping them as that get's expensive and is difficult. If you interested, Please send me a PM. Moderator's, I realize this is offtopic but I'm only trying to help him out (And being honest, Myself to because these things will have to be gone before I move house before the end of next year.)

I certainly hope this is first half of 2015 only, If not I'm not just disappointed but devastated... I've been waiting for a new big Creator car like 4896 RoaringRoadsters for too long now, And I'm starting to fear something like that which has so much potential for great alternates won't ever be made again because of the Creator Expert line's licensed cars. (VW T1 Camper Van & Mini Cooper.) 9.99 - Blue Racer 9.99 - Sea Plane 19.99 - Cargo Heli 19.99 - Red Go-Kart 39.99 - Vehicle Transporter Disappointed is the Alternates creator in me because at these price-points they can't be great (Like 5867), But I'll probably buy most of them anyway.

I almost instantly recognized those bikes, They're so beautiful in black. Great to see someone use a unofficial creator set alternative in a miniland display. Assuming you didn't alter the design of the bike, Here's some more info for those who like it and want to build there own: The bike has been designed by Nathanaël Kuipers as an alternate from Lego Creator set 5867, Building instructions are available for purchase in a book called: The LEGO Build-It Book, Vol. 2: More Amazing Vehicles (Even though I don't own this book (I had already reverse engineered all the models from the photo's on Brickshelf before the book came out, And I've seen some of the pages on amazon.) I can highly recommend it because the models are great.) Love the display and all the little jokes/Easter eggs in it.

Amazing alternates, And high quality instructions too. Good to see there are still people willing too share without demanding something in return. Quick question: Which programs do you use to create your building instructions? (No need for elaborate explanations, A list of programs will do.) I'd like to make instructions of the same quality as yours for some of my own Creator Alternates. (Haven't uploaded all of my creations yet, Some still need photo's taken or there photo's processed.)

Oh don't worry about that, I nearly always find the best price (or lowest average when ordering multiple sets.) It's the principle that I don't agree with, There is no real economic or cultural reason/difference between Germany and the Netherlands that justifies the price difference. At least not as far as I know. But they get that same polybag and pay €10,- less, So that's not a valid argument to me. Besides the actual retail value of that polybag is around €5,- that people are willing to pay a lot more then that because of its so called exclusivity is there choice, It doesn't make a set more valuable to me. And correct me if I'm wrong, But isn't the mini Mini Cooper polybag next month's Lego store's exclusive? Which would mean I'll get one when I order the exosuit ideas set.

Does that mean they will start selling it at midnight tonight or somewhere during the day tomorrow? Edit: Doesn't really matter anymore, Shop at Home Netherlands price is €99,99, Shop at Home Germany's is €89,99. I'll wait until Amazon.de has this in stock.

The mountain is brick build right? Hope there's no use of Burp's in it because that doesn't fit with the Creator ideology.

Baby Monkey (http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4916-1) disagrees, He/She want's his mommy It's not the first time a Creator set suffers from 'High on Technic parts syndrome' here's another good example of that http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4993-1 Besides, Creator is all about stimulating your creativity to make your own models. So I don't see the problem in using these sets to get kids acquainted with and/or ready to cross over into Technic.

8420 Street Bike
Sato replied to therealjustin's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Don't, I remember these tires did take some force to get on the rims. And that was back when this set and the rubber where new. Now that the rubber has hardened slightly over the years they might not want to go back on the rims, If you'd even manage to get them off without damage to the rim's and tires. -

Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 / Toyota Corolla Levin AE86 ? -
Both these model's look like there B-Model's... And that's probably because they are indeed B-Models, As this photo appears to be the cover for the second booklet with building instructions. Expect something comparable in size to 6913 or 6743 for the main model. --- As for the bigger sets: I'm really hoping for a nice big car (why not in red this time?) possibly with steering and suspension, Something like 4896 or even better.

Lego Technic 2013 sets & info
Sato replied to captainmib's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes and no, While the long distance trucks will drive on Sunday's your delivery guy probably won't. Therefore if your parcel arrives at your local distribution center on Saturday It won't be offered at your door until Monday or Tuesday (Depends on the workdays of the delivery service.) -
Anything that isn't a Truck, Crane or Excavator/Front-loader would be unique among Technic sets... Back on topic: There are only three set I don't have in my collection that I (might) still want: 8862 but that's not really a set I missed out on. (As I was only two years old back then.) 8462 11 years old and not interested in Technic as far as I can remember, And even if I wanted it I/My Parents/Grandparents/Other relatives couldn't afford it (as a gift) anyways. And while 8862 appeals to me, 8462 doesn't and would only be added to my collection because its the only Flagship I don't have yet. And 8053 which I could have gotten but never did. Because it's just not that appealing to me, I like the Alternate model but that's about it. Can't get it new anymore at a reasonable price (Less then €90,- including shipping), And the second hand market is something I keep an eye on but it's still a set that I don't really need. (I would probably only buy it so that I have all recent Technic Cranes in my collection) I came out of my dark ages in 2005/2006 (Not really sure) because of 8436, Later on getting 8455 and 8421 sealed the deal and turned me into a Technic (and Creator) set collector (With some Model Team and Star Wars UCS sets too). And this year I've finally started MOC'ing. (With Creator sets.)

Very lovely MOC. That download counter next to the file, Is that something the forum does automaticly or do you have to configure it yourself? Because it's exactly what I've been looking for.

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
Sato replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
What seams to be forgotten in the discussion that's been going on about Minecraft and FTL on this page, Is the fact that Minecraft already had a rapidly growing merchandise market that was highly profitable around the time the Cuusoo project went into review. (Mugs, T-Shirts, Cardboard cutout game items like blocks and pickaxes and the list goes on and on.) -
LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
Sato replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Overall your post was very informative and interesting, The thing that bugs me about Cuusoo is that people are uploading there moc's and or idea's without taking into account that some building techniques are considered illegal by Lego, There models don't comply to Lego's design rules in regard to sturdyness/playability and don't look at the pricetag there model would have. The problem this creates it that when the model/moc/idea reaches the 10.000 votes mark and goes into the review stage, It's either already deemed too fail the review stage or when it succeeds requires such a massive overhaul by the Lego Design Team that a lot off people are going to be disapointed by the final set. (As has happened now with the BTTF Delorean Time Machine Set.) This is part of the reason why I'm not even registered on the Cuusoo site and vote on entry's, And also one of the reasons why I see no future for Cuusoo on the long term. Cuusoo's biggest problem right now is that it's users (uploaders and voters) in general don't seem to understand the idea behind it and the rules and guidelines it has set. The fact that people trow there moc's on Cuusoo before they've had any reactions on there builds on fan-sites and forums say's it all to me. -
Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Future™ Time Machine
Sato replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Licensed
Read the review, It's a great review and the comparison with the Cuusoo proposal was done great as well. I like the official Lego version a lot better (Do keep in mind it's a minifig scale model) then the Cuusoo proposal. But the price here in The Netherlands keeps me from getting the set. €50,- for this set is just too much. -
Wasn't really sure about this when I first saw it yesterday, (Even though it's my own suggestion) But it's better then it just being empty space I guess? Maybe it's just the angle of the Photo. (I'd like to see it from the front.) The model itself is looking great so far. (And I presume it's nearly finished.)

Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Future™ Time Machine
Sato replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Licensed
I was about to agree with you, and then I saw Lego Shop at Home's ridiculously overcharged price for The Netherlands. Come on Lego €49,99 are you serious? In Germany it's €39,99 and in the UK it's 34,99 pound (Which is about €40,-) I can understand a €10,-/€20,- difference between Germany and The Netherlands when it concerns a Lego Technic Flagship model or something similar in size, But €10,- extra on such a small set is unforgivable. Lego can expect an email with my complaint about this soon. I wanted to get two with the free hot dog cart, But with the august 1 release date that's not gonna happen either. Now I simply won't order any and hope they'll become available for a reasonable price somewhere. (Either Amazon.co.uk or a cheap Dutch online store.) Disappointed in the set itself? Not at all. Disappointed in Lego's asking price here in The Netherlands? Very much indeed. -
Can't dust simply be washed off with some water and perhaps a brush?
