    If Lego sets had the amount of pieces MOCs use to get higher detail then all sets would be in the $400-600 range and people would complain even more.

    Any further detail on the inside of UCS sets would make them even MORE expensive. Personally, I'm happy just displaying my UCS sets. If I wanted sets for any kids at my house to play with there plenty of less expensive sets.

    How are the strings connected? To keep all the strings the same size you'd have use a method that does not involve knots etc I would think. Thanks!

    We have NOT built ours yet. TBH though we almost never open modulars once we display them. We just like to display them cause they were built and look cool. The Lego Store seems to be in the same ballpark. I guess worst case you can just use the online instructions to buy the pieces and build it that way if you are more interested in the castle.

    Yes, happens a lot pieces at the end or start of the bag opening step may be in the next/previous bag. (for these sets)
