I'm not ready for A.I. powered slop in my lego PF > PU > PAi

@Lyichir I thought the teal was interesting, but would've preferred that whole part to be teal. @Murdoch17 It'll probably be a wagon-train on the ground, not a proper train on the rails. Should prob start the 2025 thread at this point lol

I wish they had gone with sand green instead of seasick green. but yeah the tunnel portal is like 10-12 studs wide, and looks like they updated the red bridge elements (should’ve done a diff color imho)

Does that mean that it is time to open "Lego Trains 2025" as a topic?

Wondering what a replacement for the 9v speed regulator is?
M_slug357 replied to Jeff B's topic in LEGO Train Tech
@Jeff B have you tested the load capacity of your MRC controller? I’ve only tested it briefly with about 3-4 on a roughly 10ft loop of track https://flic.kr/p/2q8h4xZ -

Who’s going to Brickworld? Get we get a rundown if @michaelgale does decide to do a presentation? -
Why HA Bricks in particular though? They seem (to me) to have barely gotten off the ground…

@E_Blancher Is that true for *all* of Canada…? Or is it possible there might be some regional differences? -
It would be nice to celebrate 60 years of shinkansen this coming October! Although I doubt TLG would drop a new train set on us around that time. (#provemewrong) Thinking about other themes’ potential crossovers— isn't there a train in that Animal Crossing game…?

@Lion King Maybe not a Shinkansen, but a Chinese High speed train would maketh more sense considering TLG’s Monkey Kid theme and recurring Lunar New Years’ sets.

@R0Sch I hope we can request the updated tiles from CustomerService sometime soon?

Is it… motorizeable?
-
@Shiva I used the regular 2-port city Hub and one L motor. I recommend following @Train of Thought Creations ‘s MOD instructions! I deviated a bit and added a 2x6x2! Weight Brick directly over the drivers for added traction.
-
@Train of Thought Creations I used a similar MOD with L motor in the engine boiler, and It can reliably pull 4 coaches (w/ all plastic wheelsets!): https://flic.kr/p/2pjJJWj

Crocodile and OE coaches. They look great together!!
-
Try typing the loco name + lego into google? See if someone already built one? Also try Flickr, theres some great work over there too! Dont forget to cite your source(s)

We deserved at least a hand crank like the oversized Hogwarts Express

I never thought that adding an extra coach to the rake would involve so much “rake stepping” lmao

Safety is very mutch tied to cost. You can’t payback the investors if you owe a settlement to the consumers… So, its def cheaper for TLG to have battery ops versus wall powered track. The States ironically has higher standards for electrical safety than educational standards. Thats why we never got 12v trains like in Europe. Go figure.
-
I just watched that speed build video, and the boiler is definitely wide enough to have accommodated an L or M motor…

@Lyichir Make no mistake; I would love it if TLG did warm gold… but considering that the 1x3x3 window already comes in flamin Orange and is already in sets released this year… its not likely. Its hard to tell if the original leaks (which look more flamin Orange) or these newer pics (which look warm gold) are correct…
