My order arrived here in the US and I’m very impressed with the new cables, speed controller and track connectors. I’m just really bummed that by the time I was able to actually purchase, the train wheels were already out of stock ( I just wanted to order two) 😢. I sure hope they get replenished soon…..

Any idea if there will be anything additional as a gift besides the GWP. Didn’t The Shire also have a poster of all 3 sets?

Please keep us updated as to what happens. I started using OKB in 2020 for custom decals due to being able to print white on clear and Andrew was great to work with and never had an issue with what he charged, but as the company got more popular lead times got longer and longer, which I was fine with and planned accordingly. Unfortunately, about 6 months ago I tried reaching out several times to him and never received a reply. I’m still trying to find alternatives as I can’t afford a copy machine that prints white and can only do so much with a Cricket and vinyl.

He seems to have disappeared, which is a shame because he had some really nice stuff and I looked forward to purchasing instructions/decals when he made them available.

I tested it with my modified Orient Express that includes an extended engine, tender and 5 passenger cars and it definitely supplied enough power

Just to follow up on this topic. I purchase a MRC Tech II Railpower 1400 and it works great for powering the 9v motors. I took a voltmeter and marked out 9v and 12v, max is 14v but I haven’t gone past 11.

Thanks, I’ll look into the HO and building my own possibilities. Are there any specific brands for the HO that anyone found success and is using?

I still have several 9v train motors that I’ve been running on Lego and FX Tracks, but was wondering what others are using instead of the Lego 9v speed regulator. I’ve also tried Bevins Bricks train pickup, which works well with the PF large motors that I have in some steam engines. FX Bricks will eventually come out with one, and I’ve seen seen some people using a Roco speed regulator, but that has a European plug and I’m in the US

I never did receive any correspondence reply from them, but after 6 weeks I received an order shipped email today

I’ve been purchasing from them since 2020 and have never had an issue, their products have shipped fast and have been great to use. That’s what I don’t understand, I’ve been checking the junk folder as well to make sure I don’t miss something. My order from Feb 9th still says “unfulfilled”, I figured maybe if I started this post I may get a reply from them

I still haven’t received a response nor has my order shipped, I sent an email and filled out their contact form on the website (again). Going on over 5 weeks and I live in the central US, should only take 2-3 day delivery. I have projects on hold because of this and it’s really getting frustrating that I can’t even receive a reply, not to mention the money I spent
