  1. This thing is crazy cool. I especially appreciate the use of the Mixels ball joint eyes. I love when others use those parts in creative ways, and on a MOC with mostly constraction pieces no less! Good job, man.
  2. Wrong forum? And we already have a topic right here http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=97892 . May an admin please lock this? Edit: Nvm, the topics were merged. Carry on!
  3. Plus, in my opinion, azure is certainly a feminine-ish color (At least, according to LEGO, where it is used heavily in Friends). It WOULD make sense for a girl character like Gali. In addition, it looks a lot more like the "color" of real water (of course, from the reflection of the sky) than the constraction blue we have been accustomed to. I'd save the older blue for other characters, such as future incarnations of Surge and Jay, who take control of the element of lightning. On a totally unrelated note: Huw is allowing me to write a Classic LEGO Sets article for BIONICLE 2001 on Brickset. Check it out when it is published next week! I will definitely link it for those who want to see.
  4. I don't know much about Doctor Who, but a TARDIS seems like the only set LEGO could possibly make out of a license. And, because of that, they could just approve that Ideas project in the recent review to go into production. As many people have said, my bets are on BIONICLE. Of course, they said it would be a "new" theme announced, but some people aren't taking into consideration that if LEGO referred to it as a "returning" theme, we would have known it was BIONICLE immediately. Obviously, TLG wants to keep this under wraps (though they haven't been doing a good job, already). Jurassic World also seems like a great possibility. I guess we will find out soon!
  5. Doubt it. I don't think LEGO wants to focus on Clone Wars anymore, without sets to back up a big game. Rebels in a few years seems a lot more likely, and I would totally buy it (assuming I'll have a console that it'll be compatible with).
  6. Most of the stuff we saw on the display are most likely placeholders. We can't even tell what the packaging type for these sets are. They are just flat on the images, and I'd be very surprised (but stoked) if we got canisters again. Also, LEGO probably just whipped it together quickly to envision what the new line would potentially look like when it is sold in stores. That's why all of the Defenders have the same mask, and why the Lord of Skull Spiders looks bigger than what his pricetag is saying. My theory will be proven if that Vultraz/Queen Breez-like mask on the LEGO.com Products thumbnail is really the finalized version of the Vamprah-like one from the aforementioned leak.
  7. Bladvic? Bears? Finally! Now all we need are the beavers, and we have all of the tribes in Chima.

  9. My first thought was: The prices have definitely gone up. I mean, twenty bucks for the three larger(ish) Toa? That's absurd! I won't be able to buy all of them at once, now. Though, I'm sure that won't stop some diehard fans... Also, 200th post!
  10. A very nice build. I especially like the water scenery! Well done.
  11. What an amazing set! I mean, it's not exactly what you would expect from a typical "winter village" line, but that does not detract any coolness. I adore the brick built reindeer (unlike some people), and I need that Santa, as I never got the Series 8 CMF of him. Great review! Brickset's review turned out pretty good, too.
  12. Yaaaay! Now if only we could have Misako, or Dr. Julien (if he were still alive). Or Brad Tudabone. Or the Mailman. Basically, there are a lot of minifigures from the show that they could make, who are just as important as Dareth.
  13. So I've seen the preliminary pictures, and the sets look very bland. I don't normally buy Star Wars sets (I haven't gotten any in years), but I'm not going to get these at all. The only good one seems to be the T-16, and MAYBE some of the Microfighters. Hopefully, the summer wave looks better.
  14. I remember either getting one, or both. They were fine sets. It's weird; Brickset categorizes the sets as Matoran. Perhaps they would be better suited as Rahi in the database. And, unfortunately, I only ever got one (Defilak) out of the two single Matoran sets. Never got Karzahni. Is he a good set?
  15. Glorp Corp is probably short for Glorp Corperation, or even Glorperation Corperation. I'm surprised that no one else has realized this.
  16. I think that was the only one found. I want someone to find the rest, though! Thanks so much! The hype is real.
  17. We really have no proof yet. I'm hoping for a continuation, personally. Even though I know the younger children this is intended for won't understand it without going through almost a decade of storyline.
  18. Not to mention, when he and Anna find Elsa in the palace for the first time. I think that scene could be what the set will be based on. Can we expect Elsa and Anna minidolls, a molded Olaf "companion", and a (n)ice palace for a $35 set? Of course, I'll buy anything that is both LEGO and Frozen.
  19. I kind of doubt it. BIONICLE got a small cameo in The LEGO Movie, which I think was enough. Some big current themes like Chima, Hero Factory, or Friends didn't even have any screen time. I think it would distract us from the normal minifigure stars (and MetalBeard, who was made for the film). That would be cool, though! You never know. But anyway, this is exciting news all around. If anyone had any doubts before, hopefully now they are fully on board the hype train. I'm wondering, though; is that really the Kanohi Mask of Creation? I know it wasn't described exactly like that appearance in the old canon, but if this is a reboot I would expect it to be an important enough mask to include on the product page image. Therefore, it could be a new Mask of Creation, or something as important as the Ignika. However, it's definitely not the mask present on that leaked display from a month or so ago. Really, it could be anything. However, as TTV said in their video, if this IS the mask from the display, both it and all of the sets we've seen must have changed a lot in the prototype stage. I am curious to see... Geek thoughts over.
  20. Does anyone else think it could be the Mask of Creation?
  21. Yeah, her voice irks me so much. I was just watching it with my friend, and when she came out of the temple and spoke, we were both like "Is that a boy?" (although I knew Li'ella was female). Oh well, it's just another character to add to my "bad voice acting" list. Overall, the episode was very good.
  22. A great MOC for a great movie! Nicely done.
  23. Trailer is out... Not too long now!
  24. This needs to be moved to the Licensed Themes Forum, now. Don't know why they keep putting it off. Anyway... these don't look half bad, actually. The Mine looks huge and full of playability! The shelter in The First Night can also open via hinges for easy access, which is nice. However, I'm most looking forward to the Crafting Box. I can spot a Mooshroom, furnace, and some cool inspiration we can build with the parts! The End set is quite cool. Sure, the dragon is small. But like Smaug in The Hobbit sets, I don't thing we were expecting anything too mind-blowing. Also, light brick! I'm excited to collect a few of those Steve armor variants. Alright, I'll admit it... I want them now.
  25. LEGO could be calling it a "brand new theme" to cover up the leaks and rumors even more (there's no denying it, though). I'm curious to see! But, what else could they reveal? Elves? Top Gear? My bets are on the Bonkles. Not to mention, LEGO gave BZPower (the biggest BIONICLE fansite) the tickets to give away.
