Fujio's 80th Anniversary, I present to you my rendition of the robotic cat from the 22nd century, Doraemon and his creators Hiroshi Fujimoto San and Motoo Abiko San in minifigure form. Doraemon has been an integral part of my childhood, and I believe many of you share the same experience too! Please support and spread the word about this project and let us embark on a great adventure with Doraemon again! The set is equipped with Doraemon's fourth-dimensional pocket from which he produces futuristic gadgets such as the Small Light and the Takecopter. Doraemon also comes with interchangeable eyes, articulated head, shoulder and alternate build for open and closed mouth. Let's not forget Doraemon's favorite snack Dorayaki!     Thanks grum64 Thanks Rishab Took about a week to design before I had to stop myself and start searching for the required bricks, given the extremely short deadline the competition has, otherwise the design process can go on forever making tweaks and small changes here and there :)

    I contemplated on making a 60's or a 89' batmobile for a long time, but if I do I will once again fall into the same situation of having a model that has multiple iterations from other great builders. As of now I am focusing on getting some new ideas out, those that are still relatively not saturated in the market. However being such a huge batman fan, I'm bound to revisit the theme in the future lol

    Hi faefrost, thanks for taking the time to write a well analyzed feedback, much appreciate it, really. I agree with most of the points you've made, and have in fact thought of them myself. But with that said, I still would like to give it a shot. So it may not get 10k votes, or it's very likely LEGO will never make it into a product, so I'll fail miserably, but I wouldn't forgive myself if I've not tried it. Don't worry, my next project won't be Batman related :)

    Yes emilstorm, the angular design of the tumbler is rather difficult to reproduce in LEGO form. But I'm happy with the result :)

    :laugh: Please support at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/66004 "Yes Mr. Wayne, it now comes in white" Inspired by the Tumbler and LEGO set 76000, I set out to design a 2 seaters minifig scale Arctic Tumbler. Afterall, it only makes sense if Batman would change the color of his vehicle to blend better with the mission surroundings, since he has changed his outfit appropriately. Arctic Tumbler comes equipped with 2 twin runners blades, 2 fully functional treads & tracks, rear afterburner and 2 front flamethrowers! The base design of this tumbler is of course similar to my other tumbler projects. We can't have Batman without his trusty partner Robin, fashioned after the popular LEGO Batman 2 video game! I've changed the yellow on the insignia and utility belt to gray, so as to match Batman's outfit better. I've initially considered designing Batman's suit to resemble Nolan's Dark Knight version, but did not pursue the concept further as robin does not have a similar version to reference after, hence it wouldn't be coherent. :laugh: Please support at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/66004

    Hi Leewan, I can understand where you are coming from, but I also see no harm in trying. In fact that's what all the projects in LEGO Ideas are about, try. No one knows for sure if their projects will hit 10k votes, or if LEGO will or will not produce their project even after they've reached the votes, but they all try anyway. We will need it." - Bane The Dark Knight Trilogy by Christopher Nolan gave us a fresh and realistic reboot of the Caped Crusader, and with it many of Batman's iconic vehicles. These are my renditions of the Tumblers in camouflage versions, reproduce with lego bricks in 2 seaters minifig scale and staying as close to the original movie design as best I can. The base design of these of course are similar to my Tumbler and Bat Pod project. Each Tumbler measures about 19cm(L) x 12cm(W) All three versions have been faithfully recreated: The original Camo Tumbler, the Tumbler with a Turret/Cannon and the Tumbler with a Missile Launcher. In this case, only the original Camo Tumbler can be a 2 seater as the other 2 versions both have a weapon occupying the space where the passenger seat will be. Both the Turret and the Missile Launcher can be retracted to an inactive position. The set can be launched as a single camouflage tumbler with additional parts for the other 2 alternate builds.     It's actually a brand that does knock offs LEGO minifigs, they have expanded to do some small vehicle sets as well recently. They are selling all over Asia, not sure if it has found it's way to Europe or the United States.

    Hi Super Goblin & Spider-Man, thanks for the compliments and sorry for the confusion. All minifigs you see in my projects, including the ones for the Tumbler, Bat Pod and The Bat, are my own creations. As I want to achieve the look of a pad printed figure, but unfortunately have no access to an affordable pad printing service, all decals are therefore done in photoshop. The base blank figures are original, I personally don't support Decool. :classic: p.s. Mark VI and Mark VII are original LEGO design from the sets.

Of course, it would be best if the budget allows for the inclusion of Dum-E the robotic arm and the rest of the equipments, allowing fans to recreate the iconic movie scene.
