    Not sure at the moment but the tumbling prices of 10179 mean i might get one and mod it heavily to look like the new one, so this idea interests me greatly :)

    I hate scalpers with a passion but its their money and if LEGO let you buy three at once then you cant really stop them. I think this set will be available for a long time, hopefully like the Death Star which was pretty easy to find all through its life before it was re-released. Scalpers will probably do their best to buy all the stock that becomes available just to bleed us like they did with 10179 but hopefully if it has a long shelf life it wont be too hard to pick one up any time and the scalpers will have shot themselves in the foot with sets no one wants as LEGO sell it cheaper

    Lol I think someone has been at the catnip and taken my post WAY to seriously, you like the set? buy it. Dont like it? dont buy it. Bitching about it wont make it better. Personally i think its a great model but some people aren't impressed which is also fine, its their opinion. Sheesh i think i'll build duplo instead, its a friendlier crowd

    Dont apologize Neoconagenda, its awful that this has happened but thankfully you are safe and well. Sell it as you like, no one will fault you for that :)

    Wow i feel like people are being way too much "Elbows are too pointy" with this model, either buy it or dont, who cares!? I think i'll buy it or maybe bricklink it, not sure yet, but complaining about a set that people have been hoping to be re released for years just smacks of attention seeking. Hate it? make your own :)

    Thanks for the kind words guys, yep something WILL be released definitely, doing some slight redesigns for a more stable model but time is the enemy at the moment, you'll be the first to know when its ready :)

    I noticed this too, given how much detail has been added and yet this 'stunted dish' is still there i guess it must be a space/design issue? Also im wondering when the instructions for this will be put online on the lego site, id love to see how this was put together!

    RE: The disappointment in figures, not to worry guys, going off Lego's timetable we will get another Falcon in ten years time based on Return of the Jedi so expect Lando and Nein Numb

    Lets face it, scalpers will nail this set to the wall wanting to make tens of thousands on it in five/ten years time. I suspect it will be available for many years to come though although in small production numbers, lets face it, after the initial "ERMEHGERD FERLCEN!!" excitement, not many will be flying off the shelves at £$700!!

    This looks fantastic BUT, looking at pics of R2 and 3PO next to each other, your 3PO is way too big, his hips are about the hight of the base of R2s dome. I know you just want to forge on but i think you'll regret not making it to scale with R2 and BB8 :)

    The thing is we are seeing these Lego interpretations BEFORE we've seen them in the movie, maybe once we've seen them moving and being 'badass' our opinions of the sets will change?
