    I guess seeing as this leak has stolen LEGOs thunder with the reveal they might as well show it to us all, it looks pretty amazing just from this one pic!

    Looking at it, it does seem strange it still has the rigging for engines but then again why not use them if it will take another 500pcs to do the same job? Plus seems like a new element for the docking rings and outlines of the engine exhausts?

    To be honest it would be stupid if it is smaller... LEGO: Wow guys look at the size of the box we made for it, its YUGE! LEGO: Guys look at the instruction manual....ist BIGLY!!! LEGO: Yeah ok its a smaller model and not minifig scale, sorry guys.....

    Unless its the Grevious Wheelbike i'd like to see an attempt at a Jedi Starfighter, not seen a large version of these yet, been thinking about it myself so get in there quick MovieMocs!

    Well welcome and wow, thats a big project! With this id be measuring bricks and roughly getting a sense of size of the footprint in LDD, working from the bottom upwards would be my opinion!

    What if they turn the Falcon into a Deathstar type giant playset, lots of figures and interior but in terms of an accurate display model it will be lacking. Lego may think that they have done the accurate model in 10179 but now its time for something different.

    A UCS Mouse Droid would probably be life size, a first for lego starwars surely!?

    Well we have been told about the piece count by sauces before, plus its pretty much a cert that the trans blue parts on the Ninjago ice tank are most likely the new Falcon cockpit piece, its the perfect shape :) But why Hoth, if the Falcon is to coincide with the 40th anniversary then why Hoth and not ANH scenario? The ESB connection makes no sense to me and yet leaks have stated this.

    Im sorry Fuppy but i disagree, i could afford an £800 set 10 times over but it doesnt mean i should agree with paying that price. If it significantly improves on the original i can consider it but given LEGOs past behavior with charging through the nose for SW related sets, i'll reserve judgement till it arrives even if im skeptical.

    To be honest im not bothered about an interior as long as they improve the exterior i'll be happy. Although happy relies on it being a decent price, people saying they'll be happy with 650+ must be smoking crack, nothing LEGO do should be that price even at 7500 pieces, its just gouging StarWars fans in the backside!

    The proportions on that look spot on, not as pointy at the end like the other MF cockpit, something tells me you are on to something there!

    Its hard to tell but doesnt Lego give you a tease of the new Cockpit piece on the box of Rathtar Escape? I cant honestly tell if its lego made or its just a studio model but id like to think its a new MF specific molded piece.

    Is the set the same piece count or did i imagine one of the leakers saying it was about 7000 pieces? For an extra 2k it surely has an interior of some sort or maybe a crazy display stand for it!?
