    Have Lego ever made any sets that have some form of internal structure or stand that ISNT lego itself? To be honest as awesome as this and cavegod's models are, if i built it i'd be constantly keeping on eye on it to make sure it didnt fall on me and send me to A&E I couldnt see Lego making this without some stand of some sort to keep it stable and that would probably need upwards of 500 pieces itself!

    I think from a business point of view they would do another UCS Falcon, a lot of people missed it the first time around and given how much they go for second hand, producing a better set for 300-350 would surely fly off the shelves as everyone wouldnt want to miss it again! My heart would love a massive AT-AT though, even if i am designing my own

    Thanks for doing that Renegade, its good to see how it fits. I've ordered the canopy as well and am just waiting for my brick orders to come in so i can start building my design. Nice to see so many people take an interest in it :)

    Indeed, might be able to get away with a clip on landing foot for anyone who wants to display it parked but anything that folds away, might have to whistle for that one

    Ha well im not sure about the front landing gear without some serious rejigging so you'll have to get busy again, those wedges are pretty long so take up some serious space. I'm kind of working towards a display model so im not as bothered about features as i am about the look of it. LDD will be available soon :)

    Been tinkering again so let me know what you think, new nose seems to match the studio model much better.

    To be honest PCM i think the marking strips are ripe for some stickers as as you say the tiles are too wide, although i do like what Milk did with his. As for the wings sagging, i have no idea till i make the model, its dependent on thos hinges and how well they hold up, it all may end up being redesigned if they are not up to the job :/

    Liking the mods so far, keep them coming :) @Tyutyu, i dont mind saying getting that tube to behave itself in LDD was a major pain in the backside, just keep trying and eventually it will slot in place!

    You're welcome pcm :D As for the inconsistencies, if things dont fit or seem like they are not connected to something then thats an oversight by me so apologies. Feel free to correct stuff, i'm still tinkering with the model so i'll fix as much as i can before making the actual physical model :)

    You mean part #57906? If so then thats a tough one as its a perfect part for that section so i'd say its really worth the effort to get them. Failing that, some slopes of some kind, but you would lose the tapering effect towards the nose i feel which is important, even the UCS X-wings suffer from that blocky nose.
