  1. Fantastic! That's great news! This makes things even more exciting. :D
  2. The missiles look like Tic Tacs! Haha. Good to know I should avoid this one.
  3. Thanks for the point of reference. You're right -- it does match up nicely for an authentic design.
  4. To me, the plane looks structurally more sound than the Helicrane. I'm curious to see how the interior fares. I also wonder what the piece count is for both in relation to their price points. Thanks for the pics!
  5. Which one? Maybe someone can offer some ideas on possible mods to fit with your current theme focus.
  6. Nice review. I didn't know the cat could be adjusted so easily to allow for different expressions. And it's funny -- the body does look like a small car! Still don't think this set is for me, but I'm realizing I'm in the minority. Glad you found so much enjoyment out of this build! It'd be nice to read how you take to the alternate builds whenever you decide to explore those.
  7. Have the Wave 1 Mixels been removed from shelves to make way for the new wave, assuming you got them at your local LEGO store? I want to make sure I don't miss out if that's the case. (And that's a question anyone is welcome to address.)
  8. Yeah. For those reasons, I can't see it happening. New DC or Marvel themes/sub-themes would be stellar, though!
  9. I wonder, depending on the pieces used, how easy it'd be to mod that so there are two holes on either side. One isn't enough for me. :P
  10. Thanks a lot for the review! I kept laughing because the touch missiles were going off. Are there four holes or just the two (one on either side)? And does it include any spares? Surprised to learn this set is a tad delicate, as you pointed out. And the whole winch situation does look frustrating. The value is great, for sure. At $99 CDN, though, I'll wait on it. If you have both the Super Cycle Chase and Bad Cop Pursuit, have you tried putting all the Super Secret Police vehicles together with the police units? These sets would probably play off each other well and make for fun scene setups.
  11. Neat. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Sounds good. I'll especially look forward to your review of the Dropship if you picked it up or are planning to. Get better first!
  13. Hey, not a bad likeness! When you're feeling better, what's next in your queue? I know you said you didn't get any of the bigger Ultra Agents sets, so I'm guessing you didn't get Toxikita?
  14. I watched Jang's review of the Cargo Train set earlier today, and I must say, I really liked what I saw! Too bad the price is insane.
  15. If so, it won't be until the second wave (there better be one!). We would've heard about it by now, no?
  16. That's great to hear, and you're certainly right about the notion of this prompting a group project. It's perfect for it.
  17. Ah, so it does! Looks like it's actually available now. Thanks. Personally, I'll be waiting until June.
  18. You probably have to be signed in to see this: http://shop.lego.com/en-CA/VIP-Early-Access-10244 The actual listing says it's out of stock, though...
  19. Interesting. Thanks for answering my questions. I'm quoting the above because I wasn't expecting you to say Hurricane Heist is worth buying before the HQ. It's too expensive for me (which isn't to say the HQ isn't, I just mean for the content), but I'll take note. My plan is to get Infearno + Riverside Raid first, then further down the line consider buying the HQ. By then I'm hoping I can find it for cheaper. What I meant about full form is whether or not this is a set where pics won't do justice and you need to have it built to appreciate its design. That's partly what I was wondering too.
  20. Sounds like a good idea. I'd be curious to see the results whenever you're willing to share.
  21. In your view, does the Mission HQ offer the best value for the cost in terms of longevity/play possibilities? Do you feel it ties everything else together (i.e., story, other missions, villain encounters) and, therefore, it would feel like you're missing something without it? I'm sure that strictly as far as playsets go, it has no competition this wave. Yet I'm wondering how essential it is (if it is) and if it really adds cohesion to the line, and if it's a set you need to appreciate in full form -- maybe there are hidden or obscure touches? (That last one doesn't need answering, but if you choose to, a simple answer will suffice -- I like finding surprises on my own.) Also, pretending you paid the Canadian price of $120, do you think it's a stretch for what you're getting (and what you could get/save towards instead)?
  22. Sure thing. Here's the link:
  23. That's a shame. Maybe share it with the community here and see what the reception is?
  24. The Ultra Agents sets will be available online as of May 25, so likely between then and June 1.
  25. That was my next guess. :P It's probably $30 US, then. That seems reasonable in light of what you get. Sounds good!
