  1. And the helm works! I'm pretty proud of the rope system that I was able to implement that works just like the real steering systems of the time. Very impressive helm!!! I just researched that online (last week) so I could try to recreate. Now, you've done it. Awesome!
  2. Thanks for this post. Now I know about Rocrail and Mattzobricks.
  3. That's really COOL!! It's a lot like a "strandbeest". Very interested in knowing more about your lipo battery system. Also do you have a building instruction or more pictures?
  4. If it's a CAD file , the part list can be created from it.
  5. He has a good idea. Just build one!
  6. Can you tell us more about your battery box and the batteries. How much volts, mah, etc., where to get them? That's a nice small package. Thanks.
  7. In the US we are able to order from "replacement parts" also. The link is near the bottom of the LEGO shop page.
  8. Soaking in a salt water sounds like a good idea. If it does not work, try isopropyl alcohol 70%. Do not soak with the alcohol, dab it on for a few seconds, making sure it evaporates quickly or wipe it off. I have used Isopropyl alcohol above 95% but you have to watch that it does not begin to change the surface of the plastic. Let us know how you did.
  9. Just Google "round walls with Lego", there are lots of ideas out there.
  10. IMO the tan would look better if not so smooth (weathered). The white does look better.
  11. What is "the child big build"? How many parts does it have? What does it look like? Is there a digital file? You can private message me by clicking on my name/image, and then message.
  12. What is this "red tray" mechanism you are talking about. I cannot see enough of it to understand it. Do you have a drawing or more pictures?
  13. On the first and fifth pictures, did you cut/paste the stairs into the photograph. The grass inside the stair image doesn't match the background grass. Just wondering.
  14. Post your pictures elsewhere on the web, then post a link to it on EB.
  15. Those are the new 70695, 56x 26.
  16. Have you tried this: https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/buildinginstructions Just put in the set number and hit enter.
  17. That file won't open. In Stud.io it seems to have no bricks. LDD says it cannot open it. frontaxledrivengeometrie.lxf It looks very interesting!
  18. From 6:32 - 7:12 is about bagging up the pieces. Thanks for this post. I learned some things.
  19. If you are going to use technic parts, use pins without friction. That pin with bar isn't going to do it for you.
  20. Check thru the hinges at Bricklink: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?pg=3&catString=22&catType=P Also, I thought about using parts with clips connecting with parts with bars. For instance 60470+ 48336 OR 60478+ 92280. See plates/modified: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=P&catString=27 What about using 18677 + 11458 with a technic pin connecting them.
  21. The Flintstones!!
  22. I cannot get this link to work. Got it! It was a bad connection, so slow that it closed the gateway several times.
