I knew it! Can't make a Fleshy comment without all the Yellow Loyalists popping up. I have oodles of yellow heads I keep in a special bag. Just in case I want to go back. Nice level of customisation there with skin tones. Have to keep that in mind.

It was seriously thinking about Nocturnus but instead I ended up in Kaliphlin near the border of Nocturnus with a half Nocturnus character.... So homage is being paid to your fine pumpkin pie eating guild. Anyway the paper work has been lodged so there is no going back now.

Illarix Valoren is also signing up for Kaliphlin. Illarix Valoren is a 12 year old Lord living in a watch tower in the mountains of Rakath with his man servant Udo from Nocturnus. When Illarix was 10 years old his family keep was destroyed in an attack by a band of unknown marauders. His father Adamere Valoren dies defending the walls along with his men. His son Illarix and wife Viola survived the attack as they were visiting her family in Nocturnus. Viola was maddened with rage and set upon a quest of revenge. Coming from Nocturnus she already felt at home with the swing of a blade so she could do nothing less other than hunt down these marauders and kill them all! Viola set off with some her own family Raven Guard from Nocturnus on a quest for blood. She left her son Illarix in the last remaining watch tower under the psychotic care of Udo who is an old and trusted family servant from Nocturnus. She regularly visits him on her quest to see how his battles skills are coming along. Illarix’s other family guest from time to time is his equally psychotic Uncle Scalarus, his father’s brother. Between the upbringing from the psychotically deluded Udo and visits from his blood thirsty revenge maddened mother and insane Uncle it is a wonder that Illarix has grown up remotely sane at all. Once Udo decided that Illarix was capable of killing a man with a sharpened twig he started allowing Illarix to leave the Watch Tower without him. As soon as he was able to leave the tender care of Udo, Illarix went on journey’s to nearby villages to try and meet people a little less focused on murder, the honour of the battlefield and revenge. He started making friends with a local girl who was a hunter with her father in the mountains by the name of Tabytha Alantari. Also with the son of a trader that passes through regular called Eglarin Vargolas. By managing to spend as much time with these other children he has managed to start to balance out his family upbringing with time spent with sane people who don’t kill people with sharpened twigs.

I don't want to start the yellow vs fleshies debate. However I must add there is a good range of flesh heads these days with all the Licensed Themes been done over the recent years. Don't count the fleshies out.

I think it is going to be ............... Kaliphlin! Now I think i got to go to Bricklink and buy me some sand.

I have just started up with Castle MOC stuff myself. Went to Lands Of Classic Castle but am now thinking about moving here. People seem nice and lots of great builders here. Good luck choosing a Guild by the way. I am still shopping around and these guys love a sale!

Yes well you have helped me a lot and yet made it worse with your help. :) I think now I am leaning towards Kalphlin.... Maybe Nocturnus if the brick selection is not such a restriction..... We will see.

Hi Historicans, Lots of people have shields and flags and pretzels etc under their user name. What are these and how do people get them? For example: http://www.eurobrick...tags/falcon.gif I suppose I need to prove my worthiness when I join a guild and perform some tasks like build a LEGO castle with a cake catapult etc to justify the bling. Well I think it is going to have to be Mitgardia or Avalonia for me then as I have the bricks and minifigs for those two but not for Kalaphlin or Nocturnus. A shame as they both seem to have a bit of style. ;)

Seems like there is a healthy bit of rivalry here at Historica. :) I like a good bit of mud slinging an name calling. Thanks for all the information so far. I was thinking Avalonia for a bit.... Bricks wise I can't do desert builds. Now Mitgardia or Noctornus perhaps.... I like beer so Mitgardia sounds good.... Although I like a good bit of evil so Nocturnus seems fun.... Ah decisions.

I have just found about Swebrick recently. As I am 'Swedish' as an Australian jag kan prata Svenska men jag vet inte nagån ska förstå mig. ;) I think I will join there as well as moving to here where the European action is. :)

I am in Garheim in the Lands of Classic Castle/Roawia game over there because I had a reasonable amount of white for snow but I never seemed to use it when I built. I am feeling the pull of the men in tights perversion of Avalonia geography wise at the moment but I am still thinking.

Thanks for the advice guys. Glad to hear things are a bit more relaxed here at Historica. Makes things a bit easier. :) Well next step is Guild choice..... Elephant munchies or tights..... Oh the dilemma! P.S. Nice to see some Swedish and Australian posters. I live in Sweden but come from Australia so I am aleady feeling at home here.

I am thinking about joining one of the factions here at Historica but want to use my Black Falcons. My problem is that it seems to be Green, Green and Green for most the colours. So where can I use them in Historica?

79110 Silver Mine Shootout. Bought it for the bricks, thinking of doing a castle themed mine. I also love ladders.

A lot of my wish list has been covered above. But I will pour out a list: - Return of the Falcons, Forestmen, Wolf Pack - More civilian buildings like a port/harbour for example. Or a good old fashioned mine (Dwarves had one) - Ships for the harbour/port obviously as well. - A Castle/fortress for the second and/or third factions - Bridges - Less carriages and blacksmiths - People fishing/fishing shack - Mountain fortress with bridges high in the mountains - Hideout for bandits with secret entrances and traps - Barbarian raiders/Vikings again maybe - Squires - Less Kings and more general/lord characters (special equipment) - Religious orders/Paladins (never going to happen due to LEGO's rules - Toll-house on road or river/bridge - Woodcutters cottage - Village festival - Less cartoon lions (I replaced all of my Castle Lions stuff with Crown gear from the earlier wave) - Boar faction! - Mercenaries I think that will do for now.
