Yeah, the white tile above the ticket booth. Ha, it must have collapsed, or got lost in the mail, lol. I'll post a picture later

I got a Lego catalog in the mail about a week ago. The new winter village train station is on the cover and appears to be missing a roof panel. Anyone else see that?

Oh boy, I knew t had to be embarrassingly obvious! Thank you for clearing that up for me. I'm glad I checked here instead of Lego customer service!

I've got a fairly simple question, and it may be as simple as I didn't understand. I purchase the Assembly Square modular from Shop at home last Sunday. I was expecting to get the free Nexo Knights polybag with the purchase, but the box showed up with no extras. Is there a reason I didn't get the polybag?

Ive been tempted to keep them, only because as i age i have started to keep weird stuff.... Like packaging. I can't really say that I enjoy the numbered bags in general. I miss the bags from the 90s with the perforated holes in them and no numbers, where you just dump them out and sort as you go. I do regret throwing away boxes from the 90s. In that sense I wonder at times if I will regret throwing stuff out now, later on.

Ever since the late 80's I have lusted over the monorails and trains. After all of that time, I finally made the plunge and bought this as my first lego train. Cant wait to put it around the Christmas tree.... of course I can see it all spiraling out of control very quickly. I have access to a large router table. That has me wondering if I can route a large track instead of purchasing a bunch of lego tracks.

I thought I would share some prints I made for my newborn sons room. I took photos of my own minifigures, most of which are from my childhood. Then I found backgrounds that I felt were appropriate. They are by no means fine art, but I thought it was a fun way to incorporate something I loved as a kid. Benny is the only new figure in the bunch.... that is because my classic space men are on my desk at work. The hardest part, I only have three spots and have to choose between which I like best. Here is a really neat vintage castle set. It's all there, complete and with the original instructions. The instructions are in nice shape, but the center spread is coming loose from the staples last I looked. No box unfortunately. This set is in remarkable shape for it's age. I cannot find any traces of teeth marks or discoloration, much more than can be said for my own vintage collection. I did clean each part with a soft brush and dried them completely. My first castle was King's Mountain fortress, so I found the build of this one to be a little more interesting, including the brick built jail door. I really like the way these old sets folded up for a fortified building and also opened up for play. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions! Asking $60 plus shipping. That is all I could find, the rest looks immaculate. Which set is the one you enjoyed building the most?
mkeller234 replied to BlackVagrant's topic in Community
Over my many years I have two that stick in my brain as favorites to build. Kings mountain fortress and the black seas barracuda. Kings mountain fortress was my first Lego castle, and I was all amped up to get it. Building on the raised base plate was a lot of fun. I rebuilt that set more than any, I think. I rebuilt it this year and still love it! The black seas Barracuda was tough as a kid, super detailed and massive! I remember lugging the finished ship with me to every Christmas stop. I rebuilt that set this year too, still love it! -
Lego 10232 Palace Cinema--New Build & Review!

I'm having a really tough time choosing between this on and Parisian restaurant! I love the palace sign. I think it's the best sign on any of the modulars. -

Man, that rotating door takes up a ton of floor space! -
Yeah, as someone who loves old Lego sets that were simpler, these still look pretty bad to me. They make me think of Lego knock off brands!

Review Review: 70816 Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!
mkeller234 replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I somehow stumbled into a nice deal on this set. I found it for 80 dollars, and actually had the cash to spend. What a fun set to build. It really transported me back in time a bit. I got out my ice planet ship to compare and found them nearly equal in size.- 228 replies

I stick the cmf stands inbetween the studs on a baseplate. I hang the baseplate on the wall, and can fit a whole bunch on one plate.
