Don't know much about it but what I do know is I like lights and stuff, that's one of the reason I choose my nickname. If you purchaded the lights and the model ... you said "I'm inclined to integrate the lighting while assembling ..." what's the problem? I think it's handy to look how you can intergrate the lights and stuff while you're building the truck.

Found your topic about the building, looking great. Also the vegetation on it looks great, nice one.

I already thought so but I was not sure. I saw the rails but the space between it looks so small. Do you have some pics of the rest of the building?

Is it time for LEGO to stop being colorblind?

MAB: I think I missed a few years thanks for posting. Well, when you see some people it's pretty obvious. It's no doubt about it. Like we say 'it's dripping off'. -
Looks really great those machinery, all those wheels, levers and stuff, very detailed. the Building looks promising too. Nice shot too with the lighting. What is it in the middle?

Is it time for LEGO to stop being colorblind?

Interesting topic Is it me or ... are there some pics/reactions missing? I thought there was a post with two figures, one had a shirt on with a guitar? One said it looks like a punker, right. It's funny to read how some people react on things. About the Simpsons, it's indeed a thing, I've never thought of it and never associate with Lego or otherwise. I guess there are a lot of prejudices of everything. In my time is was much easier. There were just yellow figures with eyes and a mouth. That's it. You played with it. You build something and put some figures with it. Male, female, who cares. Besides the discussion of there must be (more) black figures, or not, you can also ask why all the fire and police are male?,Or why are there no lesbians or gays in Lego sets and so on. Where is the end? In Holland we have Sinterklaas, there is a lot of comotion about it every year lately. And also some attraction of the park the Efteling. Those attractions exist for about 30a 40years and now they gonna complain, and Sinterklaas is much, much older. Some things are not good and had to change but other things ... it it for many years so and it's good, why change it? And those Lego ... keep it simple, keep it yellow -
Greebling, another new word to me (looked for it on Google) So I was thinking right. I'm not really familiar with trains and stuff but it looks great and the only thing I was thinking of some cables to the sparkplugs? or some other piping / tubing. For the rest it looks great, especially the top of the motor looks impressive.

Myabe late and not usefull anymore but I 'found' this topic while looking for something else. About the steering ... I'm not an expert but I'm interested in trucks and all that, especially big rigs / heavy haulage. With those lowloaders and stuff the rear axles are 'controlled' (to steer) by the kingpin of the prime mover (guess there also other ways). I don't know how it work with roadtrains becuase they look pretty 'standard'. What I do know is that some roadtrains have a trailer in the combination with an engineblock for more power/traction. I think it might help with the steering too, same idea by trains.

I'm not such a Mercedes fan but as model, it looks really great. Smooth and with great details and the color looks good too. Also like the use of those paintrollers on the enginebay, great idea.

Maybe a bit weird color (combination) on the houses but looks great especially the brown/tan colored building. It looks a bit empty and deserted new but i'm sure it's gonna be 'solved' soon. the Entrance looks great with those skulls and the cars ... great, very recognisable too

Simplely great Great builds, fitting to the storyline. And also humor, like that toiletpaper scene and with the burglar. Good mix with funny scenes, but also serious scenes.

Amen! That's what I mean too. -
Indeed, what many others already said ... I saw the excavator and thought 'Lego??' If you look longer you recognize some technical parts on the boom, but further ... Looks indeed like a scalemodel. Also like the 'step' next to the cabin. I had to look twice again then I saw what it was, some fences. the Cabin itself looks great too.
