Well not to worry, I still have CC and MS yet to complete
-
Awesome Wodanis! I look forward to seeing some pics. I anticipate that I'll be up as late as it takes to get GG together tonight I'll post some pics too...

There is a clip above the rear bumper of the car for mounting the bicycle

Very nice cei! I wish I had grabbed GG but I wasn't quite out of my dark ages when it was still on the shelf at retail. I would have saved myself quite a bit of money - my GG project came in $110 more than my CC will end up costing (granted I am not using any of the 5 stud-high doors or the 2x2x4 box windows from the top floor for CC). I don't have many orders to go for CC or MS at this point, 6 more BL orders, 1 PAB order and 1 BnP order. The PAB order I received today took 17 days to arrive so it will definitely be at least 2 more weeks for CC and MS. I still have a 5 unresolved pieces for MS too, the biggest problem are the 4 white hoses. I refuse to pay $20+ a piece that's just a little crazy. I will probably end up buying grey hoses and then picking up some grey robot arms as supports...

At long last the mule has arrived! I have verified that I am 100% complete for GG now, 2405/2405 pieces. Construction will commence as soon as the kids are asleep tonight

I'm guessing you didn't make it out for the event last year - I picked up a UCS B-Wing for 50% off but I think that May the 4th deal was only for brand stores in the US. -
Looking good! I see you worked out the kinks with your corner door very nicely.
-
Don't know where to start, this is awesome! Loads of great detail in there, I hope to see more of your MOCs...
-
Is that the lime green one with the two horizontal gears (blades/cutters) in front of it? I like the look of that one, definitely better than the red one my son got at one of the monthly store mini-builds last summer.
-
All of the train sets look awesome! I am surprised that I really like the arctic sets also, they don't exactly fit into my collection but I think my son will love them.
-
Oh wow! Now that's the kind of pic I have been waiting for, thank you! Doesn't look like I would use this straight out of the box but it looks to have a great assortment of parts. Imagine what you could build with a couple of these...

So, for the longest time now ( well about 10 days ) my GG project has been hung up waiting for my PAB order. I finally got some tracking updates about a week ago - my package arrived at "Shipping partner facility" on the 22nd and departed on the 23rd. No updates since then... kind of frustrating. The "partner" facility was near Atlanta, relatively close to me in South FL so they must be sending it here on a mule - over 3 weeks since I placed that PAB order I had no idea it was going to take so long. I'm trying very hard not to buy anything else out of boredom while I am waiting haha! On a sidenote, I have received almost 50% of my CC parts and 25% of my MS parts...

So many nice details in this! I think this may be the first modular MOC that I have seen with the over hang and columns which come right to the curbs edge. It really has an urban European look to it, nice work!

That's a very nice, clean build. It is very true to the original, nice work! I am on the fence about the reverse plates around the front door, though after thinking about alternatives and coming up with nothing I think it is a pretty good interpretation of those details in Lego.

There was 1 police officer as well (with a red bandana)

Thanks! I took both of your advice and put some more time into the debris and the base of the build. I edited the new pics into the original post. Here is a pic of the 1st version to make it easier to see the changes:

Thanks for the feedback! I like my stories dark and gritty , I also love a good laugh I'm just not so good at writing the funny stuff... I like your idea about assembling some of the junk that is scattered around. Your idea for a base is a good call as well, I will have to devote some time later today to tinkering and see what I can come up with.

Were they removed from your order altogether or are they just back ordered?

Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Avenger (Imperial Headquarters)

First assignment out of the Academy was a disaster, ambushed and Left For Dead... -
Rumors were flying the during graduation ceremonies at the Imperial Military Academy, word was the rebel base had finally been located and a major assault was only days away. We all assumed we would get our first taste of battle during this coming campaign, and we were hungry for it... When our orders came down, the disappointment was clearly etched on the face of every trooper in my squad. We were held in reserve and would stay with the fleet above Hoth unless we were called upon. The battle turned quickly into a rout and with the rebels scattering we finally received our orders... We were being sent to Tatooine to search for any rebels who may have fled into hiding there. It was not the glamorous assignment that we had envisioned, but at least we wouldn't freeze to death... We dropped into an area known as the Jundland Wastes and began our scan... 3 days went by and our search had yielded nothing. Perhaps we had become comfortable with the notion that we would end our mission without finding a trace of rebel activity, and thus became careless... The last thing I remember as we entered the canyon was thinking to myself, "wow, what an ideal location for an ambush". I barely had time to finish the thought. After the first jarring explosion all I could see was black and I struggled to stay conscious, I had been flung like a ragdoll into a crevasse in the canyon wall. I could hear frantic radio chatter from my squadmates, they were clearly in trouble. I couldn't believe my luck that my rifle lay within feet of me. I reached out to grab it, but failed to pick it up. Bewildered, I reached again this time noticing the shiny arc of crimson trailing from the end of my right arm. My hand was gone... My knees went limp and everything faded to black. When I came to I realized that I had no idea how much time had passed. I didn't hear a sound aside from the breeze channeling through the rocks. My attempts to radio my squad went unanswered and I started to crawl out towards the floor of the canyon... then I saw the first of them. They hadn't just been killed, they had been butchered. Worst yet, whoever our attackers were had stripped them of the majority of their gear and armor leaving the corpses to the scavengers. I considered giving up right then and there, I was so lightheaded that I could not think clearly and coming up with a plan to save myself seemed almost laughable. Delirium was surely setting in... I knew I had to get it together or I would be just another skeleton in the wastes. I lifted my head and out of the corner of my eye noticed a splash of color, green was it? I was so thirsty I could barely separate my lips. "I'm losing it for sure" I thought. Stubbornly and painfully I crawled forward. Every inch I got closer I imagined the utter devastation I would feel when I reached my goal and found that my eyes had betrayed me. "Haha!" I cried out loud when I saw a muddy hole tucked in besides a few tufts of scraggly grass. I ripped off my helmet and lowered my face into the muck, sucking as much water as I could through my teeth in a vain attempt to keep the mud out. I struggled out of my harness and tossed my gear aside, rolling onto my back. I stared up at the evening sky, content that this was the end... Well, this is my first ever MOC , I would like for this to be judged - I have some catching up to do!

Definitely it is not...

That may be a genuine Lego minifigure but I'm not buying that it's printed by Lego. It appears that the front edge of the plate on top of the helmet is very blotchy, also parts of the utility belt and the edge of the breast plate run off the edge of the torso. Check out the 501st pilot from the official set, printing is comparably perfect and it is a different chest piece altogether. -
Total agreement with you here... I substituted (2) 2x8 and (2) 2x2 bricks for it in my purchases so the bricks would still cover seams in the floor that were covered by the 2x10's

Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Introduction and Discussion

I would like to enlist in the Imperial Army as a Stormtrooper, its time to do my part to help restore order to the galaxy... -
Maybe it would help to check out some of the techniques from the corner modulars. Cafe Corner in particular has an entrance that could be very easily adapted for your purpose here... The set does use an old frameless 5 high door but it can be easily adapted to fit a 6 high framed door.
