  1. Welcome to EB Tijgersan! Enjoy your stay :) and... gratz on being front-paged right away!
  2. Very nice Tijger-San... do I spot overpriced coffee ?! ;) very nice!
  3. Too violent, not enough humor, or maybe it has a lot of humor, but I miss it ;)
  4. The problem is inconsistencies in the material. LEGO Service says that to reverse the effect one needs to put it in direct sunlight even! Even unopened boxes do have yellowed parts. Heat is a larger problem I think, that is why I always have blinds closed...
  5. Very nice jodawill, you did a great job man! Nice such a new parts as well, the skull of the cow etc.
  6. Very nice, will look very great in a Train Town!
  7. just yesterday I was looking at getting one :) nice review woofmcmoose, (you could join the Reviewers Academy as a student of course)
  8. @faefrost: I totally agree, my nieces and also the children of some dear friends really enjoy stickers, 'uncle Johan' is very popular at some moment for printing custom (personalized) stickers for them :p Did not think about that before, we normally target AFOL's, and I see printing for kids in our family / friend circles just as a fun thing, but maybe indeed children find printed parts less appealing than stickers. I will ask them about it.
  9. @kabel: hmm indeed, then we need to clone ourselves :(
  10. Very very nice! Do I see OSHpark ?! ;) @garethjellis, apparently his own controller :)
  11. There are a whole lot more sets that have stickers on torso's (especially from the 1970 - 1990 period). @naf: LEGO could use stickers for sloped surfaces with extra adhesiveness of course. I think they don't produce stickers themselves, they buy them from printing shops that they work together with. The quality is always an issue, certain stickers falling apart etc. that would not be the case if LEGO would make it themselves (it would be at least less prone to quality variations I think).
  12. It would be easier to use the poll option I just added ;)
  13. Seen at www.nu.nl (Dutch news site), "LEGO Robot solves rubiks in three seconds" Female Robot: "and that is not the only thing he does in three seconds :("
  14. Looks nice lightningtiger, just like the original!
  15. ah, I understand, that is what they learn at marketing school ;) no wonder why our college has such a large buildings for such courses! Nursing school and informatics is much smaller (I work in both schools). but anyway, no we need to hope that LEGO will focus on the train line a bit better from now on, although I doubt it.
  16. Yes of course, where did you think that Homer got his?! From the Overpriced Bakery of course ;) (I just used the images that already came out and recreated them, also did not have dark tan 1 x 1 round tile, so used gold ones, does the job).
  17. Thanks lightningtiger, I don't eat donuts that often, but they are nice of course :)
  18. Very nice wineyard! If you are not going to win, the others must be stunning, since you already did a very great job!
  19. that is true, but that happens to most sets doesn't it?!
  20. Since I don't think I have the time to make an April fools day joke set so that is why I share it now :) The Overpriced Coffee / Coffee Chain delivery van! Awesome! Cups, beans, cookies, all supplies for the CC store. Driver Leo shows some cookies and doughnuts, where else did you think Homer would get his from?! The hand trucks are a bit hard to get (but... at this moment some are available at Bricklink ;)). Ready for another delivery!
  21. the lady says that trains haven't been there for some years and are now reintroduced?! that is strange isn't it?!
  22. Well, we also carry the static material, but I don't like it. I thought it would be very neat for traffic signs (for kids having to learn signs etc.) but it only sticks on very flat surfaces. Most LEGO traffic signs are not totally flat...
  23. Very nice ;) I'm supporting too! Indeed nice show for Nerds like me (bit creepy, I know real like counterparts :))
  24. @Zorkalorp: LXF was already posted (first page, in the middle).
