I take it back, the blue is annoying lol, and the ships look kinda meh. Bring back Space Police!
-
Sweeeet, thanks Ralph! I don't mind the gap, good to know the half pins work better though.
-
I was improving the engines on my space police fighter and figured out a nifty way to make a turbine/engine/nacelle whatever you want it to be. Unfortunately LDD doesn't let me connect the end with pins, but in theory, those pins should slide right into the middle turbine, right? Could someone build this and post a picture?
-
Yeah it's tiny, that top view makes the size very noticeable. Oh well.
-
Well, they could be solid rubber tires, so they're fine
-
That is too awesome xD I wish more people would make everyday appliances and machines

I couldn't care less about another star wars thing, but that's awesome that they got so many kids involved and none of them stole any of the sections! Good job kids! -
Yikes, I didn't realize how freaky the clone war figures' eyes were until you posted that close up Now I know not to get them, lol. At least Ahsoka has nice eyes.

Looks good, Gwen! The display looks very nice with more colors. Here's a review of the race car display case: -
I've never sculpted on anything smaller than a GI Joe, but I wouldn't mind sculpting some things for LEGO and have a caster pay me for the design :P

PM'd :)

I'll give you $2 each

I don't know what half those words and letters mean I know I'll never be able to afford enough LEGO bricks to build whatever I want, let alone have the space for it, nor do I want to. LDD is great for scratching the building itch. Following that line of thought, why should scientists make theories or design spaceships if they know they'll never step into them in their lifetimes? Or even several lifetimes? Because where they fail hopefully someone else will see and improve on their work, someday making those dreams a reality.

Large minifig lot for sale

Aw, wish I had seen this sooner :( -
Lot of Dark Grey LEGO - Used but some look really nice. Yes, it's Grey, not Bley. Bricks are used but clean, I'll ship anywhere! Shipping in the US is like $3, maybe less. International shipping will be $5 and up. Delivery confirmation is optional, I'm not responsible for lost packages overseas if you don't insure them. Make some offers I guess. Five dollars? Six? Those are big pieces in there. Best offer in 3 days gets it, otherwise it goes on ebay.

Colored backdrops are great if you can keep the reflection to a minimum, otherwise the whole image has a nasty tinge of whatever the backdrop is. Pastel colors are nice. And yeah I agree, the comics look good with color

The only tip you need is "become a millionaire", then you'll never be missing the piece you need. ...or use LDD :)

LEGO Collectable Minifigures display cases

UPDATED FEB 11 - The mistake I had before is that figures in the front row would be jammed against the glass and can't hold anything. I fixed it so now all figures can hold almost anything, that's why there's a wider space in front now. Alrighty, in the Race Car case you can fit a base of 32 by 16 studs and a plate of 11 studs on the shortest side. Here's my rough very basic build for steps. -4 rows of 8 figures each fits 32 figs, that's 2 entire series if you're into that -Use collectable minifgure stands as the black steps. -Offsetting the figs makes them way more visible, you only lose 2 spots to add figs (30 total instead of 32) -All figs fit comfortably and can hold accessories, wear hats/capes, etc. -1 stud wide space in back to build your own backdrop (walls, windows, greeble, vines, whatever) -

The black topped boxes and these clear ones are both from AMAC, the black ones are just from their Showcase Series. Showcase Series: http://www.amacplastics.com/products/showcase/index.html Flat Top Series: http://www.amacplastics.com/products/flattop/index.html You can buy them directly from AMAC wholesale, which is what the gaming stores do. Weird though that the Container Store I went to didn't have the Showcase series, only the Flat Top and M Series. I'll be reviewing the Race Car display case you guys mentioned a few posts back, it's pretty awesome for only 8.99. I also bought the Cereal Box display case for 17.99 because I thought I could fit some of my ships in it, but noooo, it's too flat, going to have to return it. I don't know what company makes them, forgot to ask, I'll have to do some digging. -
Lol, thanks :) anytime I post a comic here it usually means there's a new review over at my site. I'm gonna go watch the first 3 SW movies to get more comic fodder! Any suggestions where I can watch the super mega extended dvd versions of them? Or are the extended versions only on bluray?

Hey Fred, I did a quick review of the slightly longer AMAC box and showed your single fig displays at the end: -
Usually there are threads on action figure sites where collectors keep each other up to date on sales and availability, I think there's a thread like that on this site. (don't remember where I saw it, sorry! xP )

Some rushed ones, still working on getting some better lighting
