Yarrr! I'd like a LEGO Shakira please. There were ZERO elves in one of the sealed boxes I sifted through at TRU, one other sealed box had 1 Elf (I only wanted one, glad I found it), and a ton of mummies, lol. That said, I'd still never pay the $10 people want for them

You could, you know, ask the guy what part he used worst thing that could happen is you don't get a response.

Also, so you look out for it, some bricks have slight differences in construction. Some clips have different thicknesses, some tiles have grooves and some don't, some cylinders have "X" shaped holes and some have "+" shaped holes, you have to pay attention to that stuff.

I'm up for all of those as long as they're new designs, I think these collectible minifgs are a great opportunity for LEGO to update their boring older designs. Also, I demand they release Conan and Red Sonja minifigures, just change their names so they won't get sued :D

Yar, that'd be great if they made a deal with DC again and released new figures! And has anyone checked to see if it's cheaper/about the same to buy the pieces to build the Batman sets than pay crappy ebay prices?

Magnum PI is gonna be BANE!? AWESOME! Cutty, you can get the Harley minifig for $10 US + shipping, which I think is ridiculous for any minifig unless it's some crazy rare exclusive, but there's just no other way to get it. Even though you're in Germany, shipping should only be like $5 to you from the US (ebay).

This has to be one of the greatest threads ever started How about these for minifig scale pies? I don't know if there are actual LEGO pies PIES IN SPACE! (Edit, fix'd!) Oh yeah, I think the LEGO compass makes a great pie, it even has a connection point under it, have to paint it though.

I searched and couldn't find anything, soooo I'm gonna post stuff here :) I remember seeing a few space movies where some bad guys keep calling the cops "pigs" and laughing because: A) Pigs are funny and B) Pigs don't exist on other planets! Are pigs really hated so much that even aliens use them as a derogatory term? Are humans really so interesting to other lifeforms that they even study our insults?

If you don't want to use glue you can always use bubblegum.

Use masking tape to get the lines perfectly straight when painting. Spiffy figs! Wish I could print good quality torsos...

That's actually really common, collectors will buy a new action figure, take out the figure and goodies (like a BAF or CNC piece) then place a crappy old figure in the package and return it. Most employees don't want to deal with the drama of an megablocks customer so they just take the return, and many employees don't give a fig about action figures so they don't even know that the figure was switched. And it's understandable, employees are treated like crap by customers, they don't get paid enough to care about a switched toy, it's too much drama.

I bet I could do it :D (learning to open stuff discreetly is one of the quirks of working at retail stores xD )

What happens with the "points" you accumulate? Do you trade them in for money/prizes? Unless you get some nifty swag for posting answers/questions and stressing yourself out like this, I don't see why it even matters what happens on the site lol Generally since I can't kick someone's face in online for being an idiot, I ignore them.

Lol, if that store's policy is not to accept returns on the item, then you have to respect that. They have the right to refuse service to anyone, I don't understand why customers think they have a right to have everything go their way. xD There has to be a good reason why they didn't want to accept the returns for series 3, you may have screwed that poor LEGO store over :( Oh yeah, and here's a smiley face to show there's no ill will in this post

If it helps anyone, one of the codes has something to do with Mollusks and Dr. PZ Myer, a biologist. I know I'm not winning anything, might as well help out, lol Oh yeah, and KEYS, the KEYS are VERY important! xD That skull gets obsessed sometimes!

Here's how easy it is to open a box without even breaking the tab since the tab peels off too. No wrinkles, no dents, the box is still minty fresh. If there's tape on the box, just don't lift the side with tape on it, you can still slide out the bags inside. For the record, I don't do this, there aren't any figures or sets I want badly enough to do this kind of stuff. You guys should know how it's done so you know what kind of tampering to look for, though honestly it's pretty hard to tell anyway I think something as simple as adding more tape at the factory would make tampering more obvious and hopefully help stores catch people trying to pull this scam.

For anyone in the us, shipping should rarely be more than $5.00, and that's if you're ordering a bunch of stuff (smaller orders should be like $3.00 to ship). There's a Flat Rate Priority Envelope that costs only $5.00 and you can stuff a ton of LEGOs in there. Of course, that's assuming you don't mind not having any padding. It's cheaper for me to buy most of what I need from one seller because I ask them to ship it flat rate, and they usually comply. If they don't then I move on. Also for new users, pay attention to see if the seller has "lot limits" or charges extra for buying a lot of lots. Every unique LEGO you buy is considered one "lot" (5 studs is all one lot, 5 unique pieces are 5 separate lots).
