This ship shouldn't cost more than $10 on Bricklink (assuming the same seller has all the pieces you need), don't even bother with shop-at-home. I like the design, only nit picks are: -The long red wedges in front would look more solid if you filled them in (with a 2x4 red plate?) -I like the detailing of the ship, but the guns on the wingtips look boring compared to the rest of it, instead of a pillar how about using a bunch of cylinders/cones or whatever

So true! I remember selling some of my sets to buy pieces to upgrade my Ice Planet ships. I always wondered why more people didn't share LDD files of their MOCs, but then I realized not everyone uses LDD. Some have all the pieces they need laying around or use a different program or sell their designs, which is all understandable of course. I just like to share things to see what other people can do with them. I should redo my other ship in LDD and post the file... I think the 6 engines are a little much too, but I like ridiculousness, har har. As a brutish unrefined American, I'm always looking for ways to add MORE POWER! Yessss, I think I'll make some kind of motorcycle next. With a giant engine :D

That's spiffy how you used different parts and still ended up with the same general shape. I like the technomagical version more though :P

Yesss, LDD is the only way I can build things because I don't have space (or much money) to order many pieces. Glad you like the changes, I'm still tinkering with the truck now that I have it built and am finding more things to improve! Thankssss! I hope more people submit Sci-Fi comics, the Star Wars thread is hogging all the talent!

Aaaallriiiiight giggity! This ship is almost done, now I'm just waiting for a few interior pieces, 2 black cockpit pieces (to replace those white ones), and the white cones for the engines... which were only available in one set ever... 16 years ago... :( I've modified this since the LDD file pics: -Created "forked" nose, moved front white wedges apart to create a "4 wing" design -Removed missiles on sides and added "lights" there -Forward cannons can hinge to shoot in a wide arc -Need 2 more hole/vent stickers for the nose, like the ones on the wings And I think we need to call this something other than "Stinger", the design is way too aggressive now! Needs to be something like "The Stabber" or "The Pummels-You-in-the-Facer" lol

A little nitpicking: -I think the white reflection in the eyes is supposed to be in the same spot for both of them. -The black area around the gray block on the left side is blurry around the edges Otherwise, very nice!

Yes! And be sure to post your progress! Better, stronger, faster! We have the technology! I like how low-key the prototype's engines are so they aren't advertising "Blacktron technology! Arrest me!", but I also like how bold they are with the neon-green cones instead of the dark bley barrels. Yarrr! Stay tuned for more comics and updates to my other Space Police ship! Oh yeah, and yay! Frontpaged! Another thing to cross off my life's to-do list :)

I think the last few pieces I ordered will be in tomorrow, but I still need five 4x10 yellow plates... I changed the front of the engines a little and added more neon green elements inside, I like all the variations so far. Will probably switch the 2x2 neon round brick with 4 neon cones to make it more interesting.

No way! That Space Police ship is awesome, is that the Undercover Cruiser? I've never seen it look that good, great angle!

Sweeeeet, I love that ship in the second pic, I think I'll have to modify mine to have the "4 wing" or "4 engine" design like someone mentioned. Do you have any clearer pictures of those ships? They both look dangerous!
