  1. It is very easy to make a building of this type dull. But this is not the case. There is a harmony in the relations of the different "blocks" of the house, the placement of the windows,... Hats off, this is a great building!
  2. I do really like it! I hope you will build it with real bricks :-)
  3. Nice review! I bricklink'ed the Barracuda during last autumn/early winter. I did skip the sails, big flags and most parts are used parts since I'm going to let my sons (once old enough) play with the ship. My biggest complain is that the storage holds are not closed, things can get into the cannon room, the back cabin is not that good and there is no front cabin.
  4. Wow! One of the best diorama I've seen!
  5. Very nice! Maybe switch a few black bricks for yellow to be true to the originals?
  6. Thanks for tell me laka, I completely forgot. I've now resized the images.
  7. Some photos of my work-in-progress PetShops without backside. Externally, I need black (and a few white) tiles for the street, and some new smaller plates for the flat roof; otherwise It is quite done. And of course some more action in front of the house Inside the house, only one floor is starting to get finished. The other is more or less on a planning stadium.
  8. When I was building the petshop around new year, I had most of the time my two year old son on my lap. He was really enjoying the toilet in the brown building until I finished the stairs and he couldn't really put minifigs on the toilet any longer. Then I started to think to remove the back wall. I've reduced the depth to 11-12 bricks for the petshops, moved things around on the inside, open backside, widen the side walk and made a 8 wide street for cars. I'm very satisfied with the result and I'm definitely doing the same for other modular buildings once I get then.
  9. Very nice!

    MOC: Florist

It's great! Love the rooftop garden!
  11. This is my second LDD:ed modular house which I've been working on from time to time. It is a street house in a style that is common in the older parts of towns in the province Skåne, Sweden. In particular in Lund. (Except for my placement of the chimney pipe, which is usually in the middle of the house and made by bricks) First floor is the living quarter, while the second is a sculptures studio. When I started with the house during late summer, I first intended to have a painters studio at the top floor, but the PR arrived and I felt like I had to change. All in all, it is about 960 bricks. I think I got the facade quite good this time, but I'm considering changing the roof from slopes to leaning plates.. Criticism and suggestions is always welcome! I plan to build the house with real bricks, but first in line is my Flowershop which I posted some time ago.
  12. Thanks for re-adding the photos! And great review! I have all blacktron I sets except this one, and I really want it.. Too bad most transparent yellow pieces are that expensive on bricklink.
  13. Very nice! I got the petshop this christmas and I'm planning to add some interior to it.
  14. Nice! What about adding some fishing equipment?
  15. 20. gazumpty - 3 38. vecchiasignoraceppo - 2
  16. Too bad nearly all photos are gone from the review
  17. Really nice! Build it!
  18. Great! Love the washing machines!
  19. Great! I really like the top of the house!
  20. Very nice! The inside of the coffeeshop is really great! Two suggestions: change the color of some flowers to something else than red. And add something more colorful to the apartment, for example change the color of the bed cloth.
  21. I love those pillars!
  22. Thanks for your comments! It's good that you all seems to agree with my own feeling that the front isn't good. I will redo the front once I've build the complete house with real bricks. Originally, I used brick 2339 "Brick, Arch 1 x 5 x 4 - Continuous Bow" for the front facade arch, but it does not exist in blue. (well, not at a sensible price anyway) Yes, it is a little tricky to build with digital bricks that I've not seen in reality before, specially using them in angles that are something else than 0,90,180,.. degrees.
  23. This is my first MOC for 20-25 years. It started with that I decided to rebuild all my old childhood models and make sure that they are complete for my children. When I had finished rebuilding all 80+ models, I felt an urge to continue - and with mostly yellow and red bricks left, I went digital. This is a 16 studs wide modular building. First floor is a flower shop with its own greenhouse on the backside. On the second and third floor lives an old adventurer with his memories. The total number of bricks used is around 1900. It is not meant to stand alone as you can see on the sides :-) (The red bricks seen on the sides are bricks of "don't care" color) I'm fairly satisfied with the interior, while the facade isn't that great, but I've decided to stop polishing and build it for real. Currently, I've bricklink'ed about 2/3s of the bricks required. Suggestions of things that could be improved is very welcome! Front: Back: Inside the shop: Interior of middle floor: Interior of middle floor, different view: And the upper floor:
