Hi Guys! I got ill and finally have some time to finish another compact truck. My target was to build functional 4x4 with diferential and suspensions in my favourite scale. Also, I wanted to move center of steering as close to wheel as possible, which I thing I did. Some info: Part count: 870 Dimesions: 50x15x22 studs Drive: 1Xl Motor Steering: Servo Beam: 2M motors Rear axle suspension Differential on both axles Openable doors I used baloon wheel but it also looks good with 4,95x20 tyres It's fun to drive and play, but it was more test, if I'll be able to build 8x8 in this scale, so i didn't put in it as much as i could. Here are some photos and short video: VIDEO: PS: 8x8 comming soon!

Thanks for review! I really like the compatirion on the end! True is, that you can spend €300 better! (From more Lego offcourse!)

Hi Guys! Thanks for replyes. I really like these tires and already build 4x4 Cherry picker and 8x8 Dumper on same wheels, but have no time to make photos/videos and post it here. Before those tires I worked with smaller one and created this: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=91180&hl=scania which is more compact. I'm also currently (and extremly slowly thanks to lack of time) working on new page with building instructins for those trucks.

Hi guys, thanks for replyes! Yeah, I was thinking about it but it would be huge brick consument, so I will propably create it only in LDD... I used 4th axle because this: http://tomashubik.com/temp/lego/mercedes/volvo.jpg was my chasis inspiration and as you said, I wanted to use both servo outputs :) I thoughs that the third x2 is for steering? But maybe I'm wrong? I'll finish LDD file today and post it here later at night. PS: Cherry picker is now in progress ;)

Hi guys, just finished my latest build after almost year long break from lego. It,s 8x4x4 truck inspired by Mercedes Actros. I know, another truck... But I ordered thouse weels and they seems to be great for trucks in medium scale. Features: 4x2 Drive by L motor 4x2 Steering by servo motor with different angle (great turning radius) Manual 2 speed gearbox Openable doors Liftable cabin I would like to build more trucks in this scale! Any suggestions, what to build? I was thiking cherry picker or dumper for start? I will propably also create LDD model if anyone interested? PS: Sorry for photo quality...

The differential looks awesome. Do you think, it will handle torgue from XL motor or L Motor? And what is the cost of the differential? -
Small 4x4 off roader
TomasHubik replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It looks great! I will prefer motorized ready because of price of the model (almost everyone here has their motors already). For me, i prefer the building instructions especially for chassis. Good job! -

Help with front axle
TomasHubik replied to TomasHubik's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
With universal joint, i cant make such a small axle. And the center of steering is too far from center of wheel. That is why i use gears to make this axle. -
Hi guys, i need some help with my new front axle. It´s working fine but it can not handle the power of motor (more in pictuter). Do you have any idea, how to make it stronger? or make it another "better" way ? Here is the picture (green circles marks the week spots) And here is the LDD file : http://tomashubik.cz/temp/001.lxf Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, after almost 20 attemps, i decided to ask you for help with suspensions on my last model. I´m trying to make a crawler similar to Nico71's > http://www.nico71.fr/trial-crawler/ but a lot smaller one. Unfortunatelly, i´m not able to put suspensions correctly to work at least well. I thing my front axle is not bad at all but i´m not able to put supensions correctly :( Here is my LDD file of front axle: http://tomashubik.cz/temp/001.lxf I will be extremely grateful of any help.
