  1. Just made these two simple carriages for my new RvB entry. Coudln't use much, basically parts from this one http://lego.wikia.co...Dungeon_Hunters and some others... Horse artillery and trasport wagon. Wanted to make some kind of a roof so came up with this... Guess it could give my troops some kind of a camouflage Looks weird but I really like it somehow...
  2. Hello there! Good to have you here. Welcome to Eurobricks
  3. Good to have You here Welcome to Eurobricks!
  4. Ha! That's definitely Your best one so far. Love the composition of those panels with a map in the centre... has a very nice spirit. ...but You do have to acknowledge that our map maker is a very young and unexperienced person... when it took Your map makers AGES to prepare it! ...and if I see correctly our map will actually lead us to the magic BEAN...STALK! ... where we will find hens laying golden eggs and a magic harp - giving a better health and morale boost!! BRAVO Mr. Wright! BRAVO! .... of course we will have to kill the GIANT first... but since Rifleman Mazin has already slayed a CAVE TROLL...
  5. Ok... but let's imagine that I would cast a spell on everyone else on Eurobricks so they would turn into penguins and so my entry would be the only one... would You vote for it? Well I actually had a thought about RvB being some kind of a continuity... Banania being part of it in some way... I don't think I'll bring her up again as I don't have other ideas which would need fictional RvB countries... well, except one maybe... RvB is such a big world which needs to be explored by both of our Factions... and I do have an idea to mix other genres into it... we can always battle TOR in some kind of a multiverse ... like in DC Comics... these guys have like 50 versions of FLASH... Earth 1, Earth 2, Earth 3 etc Oh... and for me it's not a competition yet... just a testing field Naah... Admiral would be able to host it even if You'd kill him... He promised this to us... and he does keep his promises! ... but I do hope he will also keep his promise of leaving his majorcan villa to me incase of his tragic... ... ...Get to work damn You! And I give You a permission to kill me in as many comics as You want... so that then I'll will return as a Bogeyman to haunt You in Your dreams Hilarious !
  6. Thank You for Your kind words fellows! I appreciate that. Artistically this is called "absurd humor" or "surreal humor" or "theatre of absurd"... I like this kind of stuff a lot, Monty Python & CO... think of it like "what if" XVIII-century Pirates could have a FACEBOOK account and prepare Yourself!... cause I'm about to do more "televisioned" threads As I already said in my previous thread I do have a camera problem, and really took an effort to have a single out of 30-50 pictures worth posting. I am not satisfied myself but I think it do works rather well with "clear images"... the thing is that news anchor is also supposed to be only a "background" for the whole story... if one will concentrate on text it won't bother... As above... I don't really think it should have more images of the "news studio"... I actually did try to do that at the beginning... wanted to have a good close up of my anchor for exqample... but I couldn't really get a better picture than this and it rather proved to be working in editing... having more studio images would make the whole comic look too chaotic for me there's a lot of fine comics around with like one drawing on 10 panels... or at least very similar drawings... where different speech bubbles are the most important thing in telling a story... I am surprised that you call this comic to be not "dynamic" and that there's "not enough going on"... I undestand that You would prefer more things with LEGO happening in it.... but this is the actual reason why I do them this way... since I'm still not a skilled builder and I don't actually even have much to build from ( + camera problem noted ) I have to concentrate on the aspect I am really good at - scenario, surprise and fun... and I think it does have a rather dynamic storytelling and some kind of a rough cut... I did put a lot of effort and thinking into making every single info box, frame, speech bubble etc and have them work as well as possible. I know that this is a long one, but I'd say that there's a lot of things to enjoy on every panel... Of course this is the kind of story that works the best when one is familiar with this whole Dr. Spocks's MOC "affair"... but I think it is pretty funny even without knowing what was the whole Monkey and Banana thing about. and there is a lot of traditional humor effects for everyone - Roger Rabbit at the end... "BB-Bric"... "grandma-killing" effect... surprise, absurd... a lot of text that would seem mutually incompatible And I have to say that I am much more satisfied with this comic than with previous one, as this one has been also much more challenging for me
  7. How's it going mate! Welcome to Eurobricks
  8. Hello there! Welcome to Eurobricks
  9. Nice to meet You Joel! Surely You will find some good friends here! Welcome to Eurobricks
  10. Dear Friends. As I have feared that tragic event which happened in Dr Spock's topic ( http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=76830 ) have found some very disturbing repercussions. I don't know if You have watched the NEWS but: No Redcoats or Monkeys were harmed during the making of that comic* * ...but who knows what happened later.
  11. Thanks guys! Of course You're absolutely right... My mobile has a pretty shitty one and also some sand got in there so that's why it looks how it look... for "heads" I took 50 ( ! ) pictures to have it working... and it's still not good enough I have a much better, "normal" camera, but have some problems with it right now. I guess I'll do something more with WANTED images, as I see these got pretty popular will crop them then... It's like my first real comic here so I'm still testing my skills, as there is still a lot to learn Actually viewing these comics by Windows Photo Viewer gives me the best effect, as every next picture is a complete surprise Thank You! That's exactly what I had on my mind Yeah... couldn't change this without ruining the background.... let's say that there is another reason for the same prize on everyone... we don't want any of You Redcoats to feel "special" Then I'll make a whole bunch of these for Ya
  12. Oh he died actually! I assure You that there is nothing that a Bluecoat can't handle! Oh he died actually!... from overeating
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks Merry Have fun!
  14. How's it going? Welcome to Eurobricks
  15. The War has just began and it seems that Redcoats have already suffered some serious casualties... Looks like someone is wiping out their staff... Take a look:
  16. Czolgiem! After Croatian "invasions", seems that there is another "slavic power" rising ... Welcome to Eurobricks
  17. Man... Right now I think we should run for Congress together.
  18. Eeeeeeeeh.... I agreee!... absolutely!... that's exactly what I was doing!... ... ... completely
  19. True... but I don't think there's really been a sinle deviation or a real insult untill now It's all about Lego so far... there's been a couple of words used that one would consider over the top or unneccecary... couple of them towards me acually... but I don't feel abused... it's only a game within buddies... the only problem I could find ( if I would really have to find it ) is that some people try to get a funny comment without really taking care of what is going on in discussion... which kills sometimes "cruel" but intelligent riposte... As long as making fun of someone stays within the game and will be reasonable, then it's ok... I'll probably get my figure nicely smacked soon anyway and I hope it will be as funny more me as for the others... as I had a lot fun reading Commander Law's intelligent ripostes in our "battles" and so and so what still makes him a Redcoat and looser anyway
  20. That's a different matter but I'd like to participate whether I'll qualify to the next round or not knowing now would really help to get parts needed... especially in Poland where our postal service works as fast as an old hack
  21. ... that's because there was no need to send our fleet of 100-gun ships to the colonies... "tiny little clipper" is enough to hold Redcoats on their little island... why bother and yeah... "Imperial Flagship"... I think that HM's daughter is still using it for fun on HM's royal pond, right?
  22. Well I knew that part with 10 panels... and with torsos... and with Islanders... etc But it wasn't clear to me that there can be only one official entry. I thought "the more the better" Right... So now I have a hard choice to make... I guess I'm gonna make all of these anyway - had too much fun creating them whether these will count or not... it's mainly just for fun, right? And is it possible that You guys will tell us what will be the 3rd phase?... like in this year? I want to make my entries in advance as I might be going abroad pretty soon and so will not have possibility to take part in that phase
  23. Redcoat as a slave? Naah... these softies would fall like ninepins after couple of hours ...
  24. We don't need to take photographs... we paint much better pictures with Redcoatian blood. There's too much loot in our backpacks to carry a camera You know. I'm sorry... Is there any difference between Redcoatian men and women?
  25. A true Bluecoat knows how to order from anything. When I'll cut You into pieces I'll order a burger from Your flesh A true Bluecoat always plans his way to glory.... and to Redcoatian treasury. A true Bluecoat knows that this "poor citizen" will gain 50 Redcoatian cows for every meal he gave to our soldiers. A true Bluecoat knows that this simple and gentle bar owner wouldn't let him out if he wouldn't eat enough to get proper vital strenght. A true Bluecoat ... oh just go to hell!
