  6. Hello Sue! Welcome onboard And of course Have fun
  7. Yeah, i don't like the lack of any infos and updated either. Plus it's crazy that with google you always have to go trough hundreds of old and worthless messages to actually find what you're looking for And i know about delay, but delayed was everything, including script, filming and locations. And now it seems they've already started so... The question remains
  8. Unfortunately i'm the only one. My brother is not exiceted by them anymore, well he's not exicted by anything anymore As for cousins, most of them haven't really ever played with Lego as they were somewhat poor, on the other hand those who used to get a lot ot toys, those ho were pampered, changed totally after becoming 15 year olds. Well, it's still medieval in my country, and a lot of people want do somethings even if they would like, just because it's considered wrong So, it's only me. Surely i'll be not alone when i'll have my won children. My ex-girlfriend used to help me with Legos and was pretty interested so i guess there's a chance that when i'll meet a new one, she'll be into Lego as well
  9. Yeah, never hear of it before Looks... somewhat different. I'd love to go back there and visit both of these sites... while visiting LA as a whole of course Well, LA nad the area is fool of great places to go to. Still, i've heard a lot of people complain about how it has changed since 90s and 80s. That it's becoming more and more dirty, that there's no job opportunities and so and so... What's Your opinion? So is Your daughter attending Fairfax already or is she still in the Middle School and so is going to Fairfax after summer? Sorry, couldn't get that.
  10. You guys think they're making two or even three movies simoultaneously right now? Two years is a lot of time, i don't think they need so many months to focus on filming, speccial effects and all that postproduction stuff. So what could be the reason? Obviously Disney's got enough teams to work on important projects right? It's not that they're gonna film the whole thing now, put it on a shelf because of other titles that are scheduled to be released earlier, and then focus on finalizing POTC.
  11. Never thought about it. But i higly doubt, i guess it's only a pattern without and symbolic meaning. But of course, i might be wrong Pitted but he's still obviously standing and fighting One brave redcoat

  17. Seems that there are many versions, mine had his chain attached differently, the one that You've mentioned with a chain in his head is rather creepy Plus some of them have a TLG logo on their backs, mine doesn't, he's wearing a sash on both sides. But it's good to see that I was right about the guy itself Soldier or ambassador, still it seems they've used this guy a lot. I really like that tshirt

Welcome to Eurobricks buddy! Have fun
  19. Good have You with us Tom Welcome and Enjoy
  20. Anywhere near Melrose or Fairfax Avenue? I used to go to Fairfax High there. And You're surely familiar with Beverly Hills Center then
  21. Mine used to be a keychain as well I am not sure what happened with the chain. It must have been a poor condition for some reason, cause i woudln't cut it for purpose. But i did like to play with him pretty often. Worse that some parts of it aren't movable, it's all glued inside or something. Can't tell much about the figure. I remember only that it was a gift, probably without any packaging. My cousin went to visit Legoland in Bilund in early 90s and he brought this one for me. Well, this my theory, it could have been just an ordinary gift, used of found by someone else and then given to me. There were many ways to get toys back in childhood and no one cried But... as said... i'm pretty sure that it was rather new and he brought it for me from Legoland. Oh, and design itself. I think it was based on a soldier or a portier in this kind of uniforms, not sure but i remember that they used to have those big lego statues resembling him. Or maybe they were just ordinary royal guards with bearskins and he's just a poor version of them. Can't tell. I'm trying to find that soldier by google but can't find anything like him.
  22. Hello Alex and welcome to Eurobricks! Enjoy
  23. Never heard about this one before. As much as the build is interesting it's rather strange. I can't find a reason why would Danish Navy order it, and it looks somewhat creepy. I mean, it's creator obiously had a lot of original ideas, like with those coins, horses, or monkeys, on the other hand, i don't really like painting them and cutting them in half, as well as gluing those coins. It's somewhat against the rules of bulding with bricks. As if he wasn't sure what was he building. Also it looks a bit amateur in money ways, masts are crooked and about to fall. I can turn a blind eye to barrels and palm trees. But seriously, Fabuland doors? It simply doesn't look proffesional, not proffesional enough to be bought by a musem. And there's a guy dressed as a lady! Or maybe that's a lady with a moustache It's biggest value is probably it's size, lot of parts ( although a lot of them wasted because of paint and glue ), and... it's obviously very old. Must have like twenty years already, looking at those classic parts and figures used.
  24. Fabuland! Yeah, have i have dreamed about those sets... unfortunately i only have couple of minifigs to this day Anyway, good to have You here. Always nice to meet with a lady And it's great that Your next generation is playing Lego with You Enjoy!
  25. Welcome and enjoy
