  1. I only wrote the article so I could use that photo :D It was all clickbait to get you to see check it out ;D Hey, no I wasn't thinking you were having a dig. Yes, a lot of news does pop up at the same time. But in the instances I mentioned we were the first. I'm rather pleased at how well the Solo leaks travelled the globe. But there were a lot of sites that gave props to sources that got them from my post. Which made me sad. Retailer exclusive is the other reason. But then they usually aren;t included in the catalogues. It's this that has my Jedispider-senses tingling.
  2. Hi all, and thank you to the Admins for allowing this indulgence I thought I'd say thanks for discussing Rebelscum's LEGO Star Wars coverage - and address a couple of points that have been raised. We do work hard at providing credible LSW news and I'm glad that we're getting visitors from EuroBricks. A decade ago when I was more active in the community and Rebelscum hadn't taken a break from covering LSW both KimT and I worked quite closely to make sure news we received was credible. I didn't realise things would change so much when I moved away from LSW in 2010, but the hard work we've put in to building up a network of sources over the last two years has paid off. With regards to the 75215/6/7 set post, both Brick Show and Rebelscum were contacted by the same source with the same email. Neither copied off each other. Rebelscum is very careful about researching our tip-offs and so far have had one leak disproved (Thandie Newton minifig ), but occasionally we go by instinct and this one feels right without being too good to be true. Some behind the scenes research has indicated there is plausibility in the access that the source has to the material. I'm going out on a limb when I address a comment about Rebelscum reposting existing news because it makes us sound like we are being childish, but I'll risk it in order to underline the effort we put in to credibility: all the Solo set reveals, DJ minifig, solid UCS Falcon info, second wave of TLJ sets, a number of LSW Days promo bricks, first pic of the new Kylo Ren Shuttle - these have been Rebelscum's scoops. If anyone is interested in LEGO leaks, here is an article I wrote that looks at why they are so popular - http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/LEGO_Why_Are_Leaks_So_Popular_178309.asp
  3. Are you thinking of Rebolt? Similar face print.
  4. Just curious who edited my post?
  5. I'm taking the risk. Edit: links removed as they don't work - try Rebelscum....
  6. News on this has been out a couple of weeks, and the existence of the set has been known about for months - but there were absolutely no leaks on it and its sudden arrival on shelves did take everyone by surprise.
  7. Look for a place that is both Rebellious and Scummy.
  8. Just European sites carrying the official statement/news at the moment so it's probably limited for now. LEGO has confirmed January actually.
  9. These sets are out already -do you need DCPIs and SKUs? https://www.toysrus.com/search?q=lego star wars
  10. "very female" lol as opposed to... but yeah I get it. The old female minifigs were androgynous bodies and the femaleness was depicted by the hair and the face print. The source that is rebellious and scummy has found potential verification from MakingStarWars.net.
  11. What does this mean? That the torso print depicts a female anatomy? Try the page that is rebellious and scummy.
  12. Check your PMs It's in TLJ, not Solo, packaging, it's coming out in January not April, the box art shows Han and Greedo shooting at each other and the background imagery is A New Hope. My conclusion is that it's an Empire Strikes Back set.
  13. There's already a set description available - http://www.rebelscum.com/story/lego/LEGO_75205_Mos_Eisley_Cantina_Substantiated_177728.asp
  14. World of Games just pulled its pages down. So much for legit. update: exoforce.ru has taken their pages down now too.
  15. Hans is also the person being chased by a space slug while holding a MicroFighter Millennium Falcon in the video for the Creator Carousel and the rumoured announcment date is Force Friday II, which is the day that the first assortment of TLJ toys are getting released. So it makes sense. http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/LEGO_Something_Big_This_Way_Comes_175340.asp
  16. Love the comparison. Absolutely spot on.
  17. There's also the Han Solo movie set release date, and the SW Brick Headz and earlier news of the Boba Fett buildable figure. These last two popped up around three weeks ago.
  18. Yeah, it does. It's mentioned in the script/dialogue and the DK cutaway books include them too.
  19. I suggested that weeks ago but shouted down by mods saying that there was only one place for talking about rumours. As long as you talk about the right rumours!
  20. Yeah sorry about that. I didn't think it through! Which pic was that? never mind, i found it. It's not the pilot. It's the bombardier.
  21. New DK book revealed - http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/DK_New_LEGO_Star_Wars_Book_Announced_174028.asp Posting it here because cover hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but the text is from the official blurb supplied by DK to Amazon.
  22. Check out http://theforce.net/story/front/Another_Promotional_Image_Leak_Shows_New_Character_From_The_Last_Jedi_173949.asp - it doesn't contain any LEGO images. Possible helmeted buildable figure candidates?
