  1. http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Scala I was joking though. It was my poor way of making the point that the snowspeeder is to oversized for a minifig. A number of people have suggested that a Technics figure (http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/TECHNIC_Figure) would be a closer fit but I haven't seen anyone follow this up.
  2. Look at the site that is Rebellious and Scummy. Sorry, I meant to include this in my last reply but I can't work out how to add a quote to an existing message. I misread your initial post.I thought you said that we wouldn't get a minifig with the alleged UCS Y-wing.
  3. Except for two things: 1) the original UCS Y-wing came with an astromech droid, so it was only a fraction off minifig scale 2) the re-tooled UCS Snowspeeder had two minfigs with it, even though it was more Scala scale than minifig.
  4. Thanks dimaks13. Do you have something larger? http://www.rebelscum.com/story/lego/LEGO_The_Big_Picture_For_The_Year_Ahead_178538.asp
  5. Pic please. You might be getting confused with the movies release date - May 25th.
  6. the only alternative date i know about was posted at http://www.rebelscum.com/story/lego/LEGO_Han_Solo_Set_Date_Release_177860.asp and it came from the leaked Ukrainian catalogue. I can't see such a smallmarket getting the Solo releases a week ahead of everyone else though. But we all know US retailers will have these on their shelves as quickly as they can get away with it.
  7. Where did this come from? LEGO have printed catalogues with the release date in them. http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/LEGO_Solo_Release_Date_Correction_178045.asp I'm prepared to accept the release date has changed but proof is imperative!
  8. Appearing in HK toy shops as individual figs that have wandered out of the factory is not the same.
  9. Don't quote me, quote Tidy. He said it, I just smiled.
  10. What if the supposed V-19 is a Xi-class huttle with Finn, BB-8 and Rose? http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Xi-class_light_shuttle Nah!
  11. Did not know that! (Haven't seen Rebels)
  12. All my sources are saying "Chimera" is a Solo set. I think it is coincidental that the LFL codename for whatever vehicle this is is the same as a (now) non-canon Star Destroyer from the Thrawn trilogy.
  13. Elements of sets have blocked packaging before, but you're right - it is pretty ungainly. One argument for a yes looks to the "Chimera" code name. A chimera is a hybrid animal from Greek mythos. There has been a correlation between the code name and the set, so perhaps the TIE is a hybrid of somesort.
  14. On a personal level I agree, but as a LEGO journo it had a place in the news as long as both sides of the is it fake/is it real arguement were put forward. And since LEGO have not asked us to take it down (just like the so-called Thandie Newton minifig) it's safe to say that LEGO is chuckling into their hot chocolates (or whatever Danes drink) over the hue and cry this pic has caused.
  15. Oh I was very tired when I wrote this. I might need to double back and check I got this right.
  16. Here you go - all in one place: http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/LEGO_The_Big_Picture_For_The_Year_Ahead_178538.asp
  17. Leia is in Ep9. Edit: oh, your point is that Carrie Fisher won't play Leia in gthe next movie. Quite right. LEGO must commemorate Carrie this way.
  18. I'd heard that too. But with all the Cloud City rumours circulating I put it on the back burner while the community tried to make sense of these two tidbits.
  19. Shame his sidekick looks more like Jake the Dog instead of Chewbacca the Wookiee :(
  20. Try here - https://www.uniquemagazines.co.uk/Lego-Star-Wars-magazine-subscription-p354712 I use them for domestic UK and international deliveries. They're very quick to post.
  21. Thanks for clarifying Sneakguest.
  22. Thanks for clearing that up :D It's odd that LEGO would develop any set and only give it a 4 month shelf life. Solo body kit for the UCSFalcon? ;)
  23. I noticed that a day or two ago too, but (and I'm not an expert in Swedish) but I took utgar to mean "start on" - as in it is having a delayed release. Also, none of the advent calendars get retired (they are still available now) and the box dimensions don't match the other two. But I get where you are coming from.
