  1. The copycatters don't use the photos to make bootlegs. The photos come out because their being sold in small toy shops in China/HK and on the internet, not because cloners need crappylo-res images to make almost perfect copies. They can get their hands on the originals. This all happens in one country - it's not hard to figure it out.
  2. You missed an opportunity there - "LEGOose chase" is what you meant to type. #dadjokeforthewin
  3. Perhaps it's the orange bricks? Orange hasn't been the most common colour. Until the Arctic line anyway.
  4. Good call. I might get a couple for my roof to scare the possums away.
  5. Han Solo mudtrooper was available at LL Deutschland in July as a GWP. I haven't seen anything about the Kessel Mine Worker being available to the public.
  6. No doubt you did but we are talking about Australia.
  7. It's at the LDC Melbourne and LCS Dreamworld, and on shop@home too. As for general retail - nothing. I contacted LEGO about this and they are hoping to include it in the Winter (our Summer) wave in early 2019.
  8. I have to say that I thought Judges Caligula and Fish were fantastic. Until I spotted Nemesis the Warlock and Torquemada - be pure, be vigilant... behave!
  9. "I'm buying this LEGO set and no-one can stop me, grrrrr!"
  10. I'm not definying that SvL isn't trusted but he's hardly a mouthpiece for TLG. I write the LSW news for a website that is considered a trusted source and even I'm not labelling CC as confirmed. Like I said, I'm not denying this set. Just that it isn't confirmed. But I think you all get that by now so no need to drag this out :D
  11. This is true but it's hardly confirmation. The two minifigs in question could be from another set. I'm not saying it's likely and all the evidence suggests that a Cloud City is highly likely, just that using "confirmed" is a bit presumptuous.
  12. Where and by who? UPC/SKU/DCPI codes don't confirm anything. Unless LEGO publically announces the set it's still a rumour. Remember that we had LEGO catalogue photos of the buildable figures and even they didn't see the light of day.
  13. This isn't unsual. I often don't get regular VIP emails either.
  14. SW Advent Calendar (Sept) and UCS Porg, D2C Confidential Set and BrickHeadz (Oct) are the only known ones IIRC.
  15. I tend to use DE region prices too as it is the largest Eurozone market for LEGO.
  16. Not sure that this is right. The whole point of the EU is a common market place. Unless Denmark leaves the EU, trade should be harmonised. #dexit anyone?
  17. I think the muddy Han So!o polybag is what gives this rumoured set a sense of validity. By all accounts it is the scene where Chewbacca and Han first meet. Not too exciting so hopefully an AT-DP will be included.
  18. NYCC I'll let you off "Solo carbonate" and Chalk it up to autocorrect. If there are any geologists reading this and get the joke: sedimentology five!
  19. Full official description (German translated to English) plus more pics at the site that is both REBELlious and SCUMmy.
  20. I have considered it. The source on this and the Resistance Shuttle was also the same as the mud trench playset (http://www.rebelscum.com/story/lego/LEGO_New_Star_Wars_Playsets_Coming_180348.asp). Ultimately he got the numbers on all the sets wrong but he was right on the money with a description - that he provided a week before Solo came out - of a beast of a scene. It just turned out that the set number was the Hoth Medical Chamber. So he has an inside line somewhere. It's worth remembering that SvL has confirmedthe V-19 and the Shuttle too.
  21. An AT-RT isn't confirmed, but I'd say there's a good chance given everyone loves a >good< walker set. Including this in the Solo subtheme hjelps to explain why LEGO didn't go all in on 75201 Star Wars First Order AT-ST.
