  1. I thought this was old news; a few weeks ago I already read that Michael Daingerfield was hired to do the voicing of Han Solo. Here's the link to all the voice actors: http://cinema.theiapolis.com/movie-2U7M/the-lego-movie/cast.html
  2. Wow, that's a really nice build :-)
  3. Roughly 70% of all LEGO sales come from the last quarter of the year; wherever LEGO gets the chance to sell the new toys, they will :-)
  4. What a great machine! Best mod of 2013 IMHO... Are you coming to the Lowlug meeting on the 17th by any chance? You should bring it, I'm sure a lot of Techies would love to see it work :-)
  5. Nice! This is mine from 2005: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=202266 It has light & sound. I added stickers in a later phase; I'll see if I can make some new pics of it :-)
  6. What's with all the rehash hype? Why a third version of the Turbo Tank, when we haven't even had one UT-AT out from LEGO? I'd prefer a UT-AT with some galactic marines any day over Turbo Tank nr3...
  7. What I especially find epic is that you built this in LDD,which I find the most $%#£ irritating programme to design in. I hate LDD with a passion... So great work on that level too
  8. Wow... I'm a bit speechless on this one. Great work!
  9. In all honesty I'm not really impressed by this; I hardly see any building talent, just rows and rows of minifigs... It's not even movie accurate either; look at this original picture from the movie: There is so much more variety of troops in the original movie; there are hardly any stormtroopers there, but lots and lots of scout troopers, and imperials in grey & black suits. Had he built it this way, including some of the details (vehicle elevator in the background, better side walls) I would have absolutely appreciated this MOC. But it seriously cannot beat something like this (albeit here as well there is way too much focus on the "white suits"): This I applaud, not the one discussed in this topic...
  10. The Weequay's name is Pagetti Rook, by the way :-)
  11. Like the sets, am a bit disappointed in the Saleucami set (too little minifigs, too many droids) i don't get the Death Star set though. One royal guards I could understand, but two? It's not exactly that there are hundreds of them in the Universe...
  12. I saw here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Siege_of_Saleucami That at the siege of Saleucami there were galactic marines present. I would be a very happy camper if those showed up in the LEGO sets :-)
  13. I really hope that in the Death Star pack, apart from these: They could also put in these: I'd normally make these figs myself, but the store who sold these is no longer there...
  14. Why speculate when in two months we'll know exactly what's coming? Keep calm & MOC on; within 75 days all will be revealed :-)
  15. EPIII sets, I hadn't expected that after the cancellation of EPII & EPIII in 3D really... Well, if 2014 promises EPIII sets, I say bring on the UT-AT !!
  16. I remember it really well, and of the TIEs I have, it's one of my favorites. Cool minifigs, and I really like the wing / engine technique If you're not a Force Unleashed player you might have a hard time to see the kudos of buying this set, but I eat anything Star Wars, so I don't mind. Mine is black though, not grey
  17. Great MOC! Great details & greebling on the engine!
  18. LOL, love the dishes on the back ;-)
  19. No, it's a snowman in the shape on an R2 unit: Notice the carrots?
  20. I will have two camera's with me just to be sure I'm really looking forward to finally present my models to an audience who actually know what they are
  21. Funny to see you want to transfer the Ewok village into something for a different toy lineup, as this is exactly what KENNER did in the 80's / 90's with their Ewok village, which they adapted for the Robin Hood merchandise. Observe: Left = Endor village (1983), right is Sherwood Forest (1992) Funny fact: they even recycled the figs in the set:
  22. One of the two LEGO stands (8 x 12 meters) will be dedicated to MOCs from AFOLs. (Most of) my models will be there, along with various sceneries and maxifigs from people of the German MBFR AFOL club, and the great Bespin scenery from Sky4walker: Reasons enough to come, I'd say
  23. Wow... iet ies so bieg !! great parts use, great colour use, great mosaique... Just great!
  24. You are right about that one, it was also noticed by someone from another forum. I'll be making new pictures this weekend to replace the current ones; I feel deeply ashamed
