  1. This seems to be a common occurrence with the very long and/or wide area plates which is frustrating to say the least and one reason why I miss classic baseplates in regular sets anymore. I wonder if this may be a reason as to why Lego uses a bunch of smaller plates and even bricks in place of a couple larger ones in most of their official sets.
  2. Beautiful; those are better than any model kit I have seen honestly.
  3. I never thought about 'drinking & building'. I hardly drink anything at all except once in a blue moon and I can enjoy the build process being plain sober just fine. Now one time I did get a little drunk while playing one of the Burnout games and somehow I actually drove better.
  4. Good review, VBBN. This was the one I wanted the most from the wave at the start but unfortunately now I will not be able to obtain it just like the others. Ah well.
  5. Nice design and I would agree with others the interior is very good.
  6. Trippy seeing the Haunted House turned into something like a painted lady. A little bright but nice all the same.
  7. I had thought about a medieval modular before but nothing nice as this. Excelsior!
  8. I always enjoy the exquisite touch of realism your modular designs have. They are never over-the-top flashy but not dull fully plain either. I particularly like the modern style of furnishings and the glass walls. Good work once again, Kristel.
  9. I'll just be pleased to see more Pirate sets down the road honestly. I agree the winning name feels rather lackluster but if I happen to like the overall design of this "Brick Bounty", I'll buy the ship and simply call it something else.
  10. Nicely done and a very cohesive design despite utilizing a limited yet diverse selection of parts.
  11. That is freakin' awesome and actually downright scary. I have no problem admitting that the thought of being chased by those Terror Dogs still scare me on a dark night.
  12. 126,068 ....until the next set.
  13. I only use parts from my own collection which is constantly being added upon from every set I purchase in store new. The few times I bought anything off BrickLink was for specific and typically older minifigures or even a couple sets. I honestly have no idea as to calculating what it cost to build something considering all the pieces came from a number of sets bought at retail or sometimes discount.
  14. Interesting question without a definite answer I'm afraid. I know I do not have much use in bulky blocks such as 2x4's and so on. Hmm, I usually use 1x4 or maybe 1x6 bricks though and I have fun with any sort of hinged piece. I love the masonry brick and lion's head part! I would guess the piece most used is more dependent on the type of build being worked on at the time.
  15. Those are absolutely perfect. I really can't find fault anywhere in either design. The Hellbringer in particular is exquisitely spot-on. A side note, Uller is the Norse god of archery and I think the original version of the Kit Fox did not feature torso twist capabilities (or was very limited) while the more current one does.
  16. Hey, an alternate design not for the Power Mech. This is really nice work all the same almost going for an Exo Force approach.
  17. It is a bit of a head scratcher that one. Now there were a few parts where he fought rather fiercely but still why didn't they create a variant of him with his mellow face?
  18. No offence meant towards The Brick Show guys but I really wonder how much of this is truly confirmed or just what a Lego Store employee told them. I remember one actually saying The Simpsons House was already retiring ....in the same month it just became available. They probably have their sources I guess but considering how long the Death Star keeps staring us all in the face after numerous times of being told "it will be retiring this year" for every single year, I will believe it when it actually comes to pass.
  19. Wow, those are creepy but magnificent.
  20. What a beautiful bust!
  21. Heck yeah. This just rules in every aspect especially for me as I love Egyptian art.
  22. Haha, that is just AWESOME! Great MOC for a great show.
  23. Ah, classic Battlestar Galactica. Very nice model indeed.
  24. Good grief, you really can stretch the limits of a single set can't you? Not only is it amazing the sheer amount of designs you have been coming up with let alone the fact all of this has been from one selection of parts but each has been very distinct in design as well as functionally transformable. Most people could just build a robot or a vehicle separately simply as that but not both into the same construction yet here you have done it more times than I can count. There should be an award for what you have accomplished many times over within such a set limit.
  25. Cool and I can definitely see the inspiration especially from the second image.
