Just about to say the same thing. The quality is shocking and the saying goes "you get what you paid for" and you brought.........sorry. Support Lego and not ripoffs is my 2cents $100 worth.

Axle Collection Thread
jono rocky replied to efferman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thought I'd throw this in its from my Mercedes truck of the future comp. Could do with more tweaking as I rush built it once but it works nonetheless. Its designed to have fake disk brakes. Ldd file is on my bricksafe folder here -
Defining a Supercar

I think that it relates to anything fast and or exotic so no standard car setups it has to be different. -
Lego & PayPal

Did you have to pay any paypal fees? Here in Australia I can only use credit or Mastercard so I guess each country gets different payment methods.. -
[HELP] Organizing to Build
jono rocky replied to Andy D's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
+1 I do this as well. Not all my sets are together, some on shelves most in pieces which is great for building other sets or modifying existing ones. -
42056 - Porsche Speculation
jono rocky replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
For an ultimate set its pretty basic really. I can sense this set getting some really good mods to make it more realistic and playable at the same time..did the Lego team miss something if we can see these mods and they didn't or chose not to do them. Like I'm sure everyone here I cant wait to get my greedy hands on it and improve it further. -
That's insane. love it. do you have instructions or Ldd for it? I would love to build your hot rod.

42055 - Bucket Wheel Excavator
jono rocky replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I've been hovering around this thread and not being paying to much attention to it then I saw the B model and instantly needed to have it. Brings back memories working at the sand quarry. Now I'm paying attention but dang that's a lot of pages to read....Oh and my little 2cents worth here in Australia you start driving at 16 as well. -
42056 - Porsche Speculation
jono rocky replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I'm itching to buy the set off the Lego store. My middle son who 10 said the box looks really cool and expensive so he said if I gave it to him he would carefully unbox it and then build it, then pull it apart, put it back in the box and mail it back to himself to experience it again to justify the price $600 Au. Couldn't help but laugh and then agree that it wasn't a bad idea, then laugh again.. -
42056 - Porsche Speculation

When this set is released does anyone know if the panels will be sold separately in any other colors Looking forward to your review Jim? I second Kman860 about the box. I've got sets from Lego before and they always end up crushed or damaged, the worst ones were signed sets of the 42043 and 41999 exclusive ed. -
Congratulations on your book. If you do an English version I would definitely buy it for my 11yr old son who is a Lego train freak.

LEGO VIP program questions for you!
jono rocky replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
1) I signed up to the website then signed up for the VIP card. 2) Getting VIP points to drop costs of larger sets. 3) Like the answer for 2. Having points would steer me towards the larger more expensive sets to make them more affordable to buy but not necessarily in what theme. 4) VIP on bricks and pieces. 5) Until the end of this year we don't have a Lego shop in Australia, so to comment on the Email side of being in contact with Lego I cant see anything more a VIP could get over someone who isn't cause the service is always friendly and helpful. I would like to think that loyalty in spending so much through Lego as a VIP would give a percentage discount for a period of time. -
[MOC] Jeep Wrangler
jono rocky replied to legomarat's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
These look really great. How does Effermans 2L 3D printed differential hold up?. The blue one would have to be my favourite and I agree with Kman860.- 21 replies

Ive been curios as to how fast Lego cars can go then I saw this machine leaving rubber behind...totally awesome. The sound it makes is even better, had to watch it a few times in a row and still had a grin on my face. My hats off to you.
