  1. Ditto. If I attempted anything like you've done there Frolando22, my missus would kill me!
  2. Good luck with your medical Jedd. I'm sure everything will work out fine for you. There'll be lots of people in the same position who are also quite worried.

  3. Maybe they would work well within the Miniland environment. They do look 'very Lego' but are lacking the character and charm of CubeDudes.
  4. This is not a groaner, it's a cringer...
  5. Two more great mini's there Legostein. Good to have the reference material available too as I'm massively ignorant of the EU (and will remain so). Nice use of the chain-saw and clickits!?
  6. Looking at some of the reference in marshal_banana's topic I'm tempted to say do the majority in reddish brown & use the brown to represent some random panelling or 'patched-up' areas. Would the contrast be too much to throw in a bit of dark brown too? Also, on the photo of the brick-built Sandcrawler you posted in marshal_banana's topic, although it's very impressive, I find the rusted area a bit unconvincing. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think it might be because it suddenly stops near the top - maybe bits of it should bleed to the top - that could be a part availability issue though. I'd also say there's too much light bley on that particular model. These things don't always look as good in a picture as they do in life though, so maybe it's bang-on and I'm just not seeing it.
  7. Cool, I do love a Sandcrawler. Clearly they're a little bit like buses at the moment... (I think you know where I'm going with that one). Can't wait to see more.
  8. Thanks for the reminder - drove to my nearest Smyths (Wigan) before work and scored 3 white Boba Fetts. Not really any other offers worth noting except perhaps 7569 POP Desert attack for £6.99 Then wandered over to Asda and got 7915 Imperial V-Wing for £14.97 & 7913 Clone Tropper BP for £6.97 No Mando BP's or Battle of Naboo though 8092 Luke's Landspeeder was available for £18.47 and there were some minor offers on a couple of City sets. Skint, late for work but happy
  9. Sweet Skyhopper Brickdoctor. I particularly like the weapons and the engine but it's all good.
  10. Absolutely stunning I suppose some kind of Tie variant would be nice - it seems fair to build something Imperial.
  11. Thank you all. I'm genuinely touched by your comment. I hope you watch ANH and that your former passion for Star Wars is re-ignited - and don't forget, after ANH comes the best of them all...
  12. The stripped down style would make this a much better accompaniment to 2003's 'Jabba's Prize' and 'Jabba's Message' than the official Jabba's Palace was. I really like it. I like how all the figures are packed in and the use of Indy's whip is inspired.
  13. It's a fair point. But IMHO $35USD isn't too much for something that will no doubt be a collectors item.
  14. IMO it would be foolish for any Lego Star Wars fan not to buy this, whether they like it or not. Surely this has got to become a collectors item. I'll probably get 2 for the kids and one for me to keep in pristine condition and occasionally stare at.
