  1. 8038 Battle of Endor
  2. Thank you Mr McDuck, but Vader does have a speederbike and this is it - I don't just make this stuff up.
  3. A very robust entry, looks good.
  4. A SW twist on an old joke...
  5. Very unexpected. Great idea, I really like it
  6. Coincidentally I've just been admiring your work on Brickshelf and have just caught up on your Falcon, which I had missed. This is yet another great mini Legostein and  to hooks! I would never have thought the ball would allow them to fit like that.
  7. Just read your post about mis-reading the competition deadline - Nothing like working under pressure to create good results. I really like your Mech - spot-on for Boba
  8. Thanks Brickdoctor. MOC-ing takes me soo long I don't think I'd ever finish anything much bigger than a speeder . Plus, I need to increase my Lego collection . Thanks Solscud007. Thanks KDM. The figure is sat on one of these. I experimented with sliding the legs over the side of a panel and although it could work, it put more strain on the legs than the door piece and didn't really suit my requirements. My aim was to get Vader's feet to touch the pedals and with the pedals angled upwards, they can - but it just looks wrong that way - so bit of a failure in that respect . Vader is now suffering severe cheek chafing from the saddle like a razor blade. EDIT: Updated 1st post to include new pictures.
  9. Nice! - If Ghost Rider was Sith he would ride one of these.
  10. Lord Vader is in the middle of a huge mid-life-crisis. He's already pimped his TIE fighter and got himself a bigger Star Destroyer than anyone else, but now he's seeking to re-live the thrills of his youth by building stuff with Lego racing speeder bikes on Endor. With his new prototype 74-Z Advanced Speeder he's sure to win every-time. More here when public. EDIT: After looking at some other MOC speeder bikes today, I've realised that my part usage for the outrigger/blaster cannon combo are the same as Larry Lars' design. Although I didn't seek reference whilst building this I have seen Lars' speeder previously and must assume that it had some influence.
  11. I really like these Oky, 3PO & Vader are particular highlights for me. I also really like your functional take on the light-sabres.
  12. I watched Kick Megablocks on dvd last night - didn't expect much from it and ended up loving it! Well there goes the surprise but seriously, there's an alternative ending to I Am Legend that's miles better than the one they used. EDIT: Great! I'm on an adult site and I'm not even allowed to type 'megablocks'
  13. Have to agree with Brickdoctor - it's quite difficult to tell from the image that the sabre is lit-up. Ideally I'd like to see shot of the sabre more clearly lit and a peak of what's going on under Vaders hand - so that we can see how it works.
  14. This is really cool M<0><0<DSWIM - love the articulation of the figures. On the 3rd picture down (action Luke stance) I can't decide whether that's shadow on either side of Luke's nose or if you've air-brushed the plates? Also is the design of the nose different on that pic? You always seem to come up with something original and fresh - keep up the good work.
