  2. 7) Clumsy Guy Entry (Build by Actor Builder) - 3 points
  3. 28) Series 13 - Classic King Entry (Build by durazno33) - 1 point 63) Series 2 - Surfer Entry (Build by bell is) - 2 points
  4. Minifig: Series 5 Detective Theme: Police The adventure of the barber and the baker With the great Sherlock Holmes hot on his trail Mr. Evil determined to lay a trap. Using one of Mr. Goode's gruesome pies as bait, will Evil's dastardly plot secure the end of the amateur sleuth?.. I've wanted to build this for a while, there's nothing like a deadline to get me motivated. Thanks for the contest
  5. Amazon.co.uk have 76035 Jokerland for £65
  6. Every year I hang my Lego Death Star on the Christmas Tree, then I have to go through the daily routine of moving it to a prominent location after Mrs. Praiter has hidden it around the back! Ideally... Thanks to Cop Mike for hosting this all over again
  7. Not quite what I was expecting - I'm old enough to remember when The Man From Atlantis was Bobby Ewing from Dallas! Still, cool character and lots of fun. I particularly like the flipper ears.
  8. Is it me or are Lego bargains few and far between at the moment? However... Amazon UK currently has 76017 Captain America vs Hydra for £11.99 I also keep seeing 10665 Spiderman Spider-Car pursuit in Sainsburys for £8.99 - still seems too much but could be a last chance to get a Venom fig.
  9. All good! I love the Classic Space torsos you've had printed, also some great Indiana Jones customs there (that theme just didn't run long enough for me ). Movie Wolverine looks like he's showing his softer side by keeping a puppy in his pocket.
  10. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to MKJoshA for hosting the contest, it was good fun (and got me back into customising after a long break)
  11. ^Thanks. I've seen a variant on the net (possibly a reprint?) with brown hair, white shirt and even PINKER trousers! Thanks for the tip on the hair - I didn't even know that piece existed in yellow
  12. ^Thanks. I must confess that any comic knowledge I may appear to have comes from DK Publishing (I wasn't allowed comics as a child ).
  13. When I saw Professor Frink's legs from Simpsons CMF Series 2, I couldn't resist making a version of David Banner based upon his appearance on the cover of incredible Hulk Issue 1. Hair: Aquaman Face: Egon Spengler Torso: Custom Decal Legs: Professor Frink Grey Hulk: Decool Lego Custom Bruce Banner (Comic Version) on flickr
  14. #17 #25 It was really difficult to narrow down to just two.
  15. Thanks I'm hoping to concentrate on some more Star Wars customs next, so I'll be taking a short break from Sci-Fi classics, but hopefully not another 2 year break! For now here's a look back at most of what I've done so far (some of the figs pictured have had updates since original postings)... Custom Lego Classic Sci-Fi minifigs on flickr
  16. Two more additions: Alex from A Clockwork Orange and the finalised version of Jonathan E from Rollerball (1975)... Custom Lego Alex from A Clockwork Orange on flickr Lego Custom Jonathan E from Rollerball (1975) on flickr
  17. ^ Nooo, I've never even heard of Megaforce, but if Barry Bostwick is in it, it must be good! I suspect that you are looking for a topic on 'cult' sci-fi customs rather than 'classics' . Although, my next entry has already been described as 'obscure' on flickr... Jonathan E. Retro version on flickr This is actually a WIP using the torso decal from the back of what will be the final custom. It's so basic that I just couldn't resist using it as a retro version of Jonathan E. from Rollerball (1975).
  18. Thanks Guys I have a list and Barbarella isn't on it - but never say never. My list consists only of Sci-Fi films I enjoyed in my youth... I didn't really enjoy Barberalla, except for the first 5 minutes perhaps Cheers. I started work on two more Ripley's, both from Alien (Flight Suit & Space Suit versions) and I don't know why, but I just lost the motivation to finish them - maybe now I'm on a bit of customising streak I'll get around to completing them.
  19. Oh, he definitely clashes with the Old Ben figure... I'm pretty sure Old Ben kills him. And thank you.
  20. Thanks Guys . I have to be honest and say that although I had an idea of what I wanted to create for the photo edit, it turned out miles better than I expected due to at least 3 'happy accidents'
  21. Ugnaughts would be great addition to the LSW line-up and that conveyor belt is an inspired choice for a play feature!
  22. Nice speeder and great figs - but the highlight is the Medical Droid
  23. Nice looking set and those are some bad-a-s-s Jawas in that final pic!
  24. Nice to see an entry inspired by The Star Wars / McQuarrie concept art. I like how sleek and dynamic your speeder is and the splash of light blue gives it a nice lift. Minifigs are cool too, I'd definitely buy something like this. Totally off topic: I sort of expected to see lots of really fresh new SW MOCs when The Star Wars comic came out, two man fighters shaped like Star Destroyers and the like, but it just didn't seem to happen. Maybe The Star Wars was less of an event than I thought it was?
