  1. "thank goodness" Darksten thinks to himself as he pockets his winning with a bit of a smile. "Why thank you! I think I will pass on another round though lass. Tell me though, how long should this voyage take?" ooc: I should be at level 10.5. Just wanted to throw that out there before it got lost... Thanks!.
  2. As the new card is placed before him, Darksten looks at it and calculates his next move. He decides to stand and not take any more cards
  3. Darksten looks at his cards and returns the smile of the young female marine. He knocks once on the table with his knuckle signifying he would like to hit for another card
  4. Darksten takes a single gold coin out of his pocket and places it on the table "I am not too much of a betting man, but I do enjoy good company" He says with a bit of a smile "I am sure I can show you a thing or two"
  5. "What's the wager?" Darksten asks the girl as he looks around the deck... "Hopefully this will be fast voyage" he thinks to himself"
  6. ooc: dang, hopefully they get it up and running. I cannot seem to see the last pictures so not sure if I am going to miss anything. Darksten boards the boat, giving a curt salute to the captain. "Thank you sir, we appreciate the transport. However, I cannot imagine marines like yourself have much need for mercenaries."
  7. Darksten waits for the girl to respond. He didn't see himself as a hostage taker or a boyfriend, but hoped perhaps they could be bunkmates for the cruise
  8. "Aye, and I know we will be in good company" Darksten says while eyeing the firm body, and flowing blond hair of the female marine
  9. Darksten feels a bit of embarrassment for his mistake but it quickly fades. " I am in for the adventure "
  10. Darksten starts to walk abreast the female marine, waiting for her response as the party moves towards her ship.
  11. While video reviews can be well done (like the one mentioned above), I find most to be drawn out and unnecessary. I prefer pictures because it allows me to scroll right to the parts I want, and skip most of the fluff that i don't care about. So bottom line, I don't mind if there is a video review AND a picture review, but I will always prefer to have pictures
  12. "Shifty? What makes you say it is shifty? Doubt they would send an escort for a bunch of scarves ma'am. But if you don't knows that is ok."
  13. Darksten feels the small amount of coins in his pocket and knows which option he has to take. "Yeah, the Red Rooster sounds fine" As the Marine lugs the crate by, Darksten hears her grumble. He speaks to her "Hey there, what's so important they have a Marine of your stature guarding it?"
  14. Can items from the lottery be traded via Z-mail since it was a public lottery and announcement went to everyone (so wouldn't break RP)... ...or would it be prefered that we wait till we are all in the hall together?
  15. "What sort of papers are these anyways?" Darksten ask, shifting around the room to take a closer look at the sword on the wall, and the chest near it "Seems to be pretty important"
  16. "Good evening sir" Darksten says to the Doctor as he tries hard not to stare at his large head. The faint wiff of decay reaching the ranger's nose 'It seems quite a it has been going on here lately huh?"
  17. "Yeah, no, I don't trust him either" Darksten whispers to his fellow party members "should we send a runner to find the doctor? I am hesitant to split up though..." Darksten speaks up to the butler "You never answered my question, was anything taken?"
  18. Darksten walked into the room, and began to look around. Clearly there would be no secrets from a man with those big of ears. No wonder he heard the whispering... As the butler explains the story of the break in, Darksten begins to 'investigate' the items being swept into the corner, and the books on the bookshelf "So the doctor wasn't here when the break in occurred? Was anything taken?"
  19. "If it is the doctor, it is kinda strange for him to be talking about himself in the third person." Darksten mumbles to Deus, staying low enough to not be heard through the door. "Do we think it is safe to explain? We can just keep it vague, like 'by Driada Bay'..."
  20. "Tell you where the Doctor lives, or Mr. Bismark? I assume you mean Mr Bismark... But just to be sure, could you clarify" The ranger asks through the door, still unknowingly ignoring his party lead "Perhaps you could tell us what relation you have to the Doctor"
  21. Darksten, unused to not being the party leader, instantly shouts out... "Heroica, per contract, we have come on behalf of one Mr. Bismarck"
  22. Darksten takes his portion of the loot, but feels uneasy doing so because it is clearly not even for the Sage. The ranger makes a mental note to return the favor as he follows the party forward.
  23. "He attacked us first remember" Darksten says with little remorse for the body in front of him "after all, sounds like him and our contact didn't get along too well anyways." While eying the loot, the ranger mentions: "well there is an clear way to divide this evening, but I would be willing to swap my share of the venom for some more gold if someone is willing. But I don't mind getting a venom either as it has certainly helped in the past..."
  24. the bright light that emitted from the Sage's gem was like nothing Darksten had ever seen before. It was infinitely better than a thousand sunrises that sparkled through the leaves of his home forest. The warm rays engulfed him, soothing the sting from the bite mark on his arm. Feeling rejuvenated, Darksten unleashed a hail of bolts as the grin grew on his face. "Amazing," He shouts to Grimwald As the rats began to drop, Darksten switched to a new target to continue his barrage. Darksten attacks plagued rat c from back
