  1. Actually, if you look at my post, I never made any connection between what you did in the past and what you do now, nor did I state any judgment based on that; I merely used it as a method of ensuring that another member and I were talking about the same person. There are a number of different people who use a username "legoboynn...", and there is a huge number of people who do video reviews.
  2. Thanks, Masked, and congratulations to all the builders! Concerning Community Build Tags: If you want one of these... (Of course you do; everyone likes tags. ) ...post your choice here in this thread and Erdy will add your choices to your profiles. (Emboldening your choice would be helpful.) You can only have one of these tags at a time, but if you already have one from a previous community build and you participated in this one and you want a different one, then you can also request to change in this thread.
  3. Ah, I see. Maybe it would be better then if you used the clips to attach to the two upper bars and the jumper for the lower bar, so that the lower bar would be parallel to the upper bars instead of to the ground. (Shorter lower bar might be necessary; I'm not sure.)
  4. "I do not, but I am wondering if it could be a possibility. Otherwise, Lord Guffington clearly had a different cup than the rest of the guests. I assume all the wine is from the same source; has anyone other than Captain Holla, Lady Marsh, and the servers been in the kitchen?"
  5. You've done a great job adapting the action figure toy into LEGO; I do like the blue-bley-black-tan combo that’s a little brighter than the ‘real’ Hasbro toy. It looks like the 'real' Hasbro toy only has the two bars. Was it too weak if you just used the two? (I know they're not attached right now, but you could use two 1x1 plates with clips instead of the jumper to attach to the two upper bars.) I'm not sure. I think that would be too fat, and break up the smooth edges and angles of the wedge plates, even if there are some studs exposed.
  6. Oh, and also the General Grievous level, which wasn't hard, just that you had to hit him something like ten times, and every time you landed a hit he jumped up to a platform and you had to run through all the platforms all over again.
  7. So many timers, and most of them requiring you to be near-perfect to make the time.
  8. I wouldn't call it "pointless and irritating", but I agree that the real thing isn't that great a subject for a LEGO model. Remember, building with LEGO is often about compromises. The model should be accurate, but it also has to look good. You can't sacrifice aesthetics for accuracy, because it doesn't matter how accurate a model is if most people don't enjoy looking at it. At this scale, maybe that means you have to change the shape a bit. Definitely a lot of improvement needed for this model.
  9. Sure. I'll test it with a 10.8 Mountain Lion computer first, though (I'll be using one in a few hours.), since I don't have Gatekeeper on my computer. (Still using 10.6 Snow Leopard for my computer; stop trying to make my computers look like smartphones!)
  10. As others have said, great choice of colors. Definitely eye-catching. You've done a great job shaping R5-J2's head, too.
  11. It is indeed an image signifying that the thread has been indexed.
  12. Some really quick and really rough examples: You can do something simpler like this: Or the more elaborate, more SNOT-based, better-looking solution: (And in this case you could just use the 4x4 curved quarter-circle pieces instead of the SNOTed curved slopes. I just like the look of SNOTed slopes better.)
  13. That canopy is... 10x6, with each wedge on the front being 3x4; I'm quite certain that there isn't a brick or plate like that, other than the inverted version of the canopy. In the only suitable color, Dark Bley, that piece came in a couple Exo Force sets, a City set, and a KK2 set, from '03-'07. But if you're going to end up BLing more parts, and if the Falcon canopy is perfect in size, why wouldn't you BL headlight bricks instead? (Or you could us 1x1s with Stud on Side instead, but the transition won't be as clean.)
  14. Oh, good catch, I couldn't even find that one 1x3 slope. Other than that, I cannot find a piece that is different from mao16's. (And mao based his build on another MOC, which is one I made, so I'm quite familiar with this basic design.)
  15. Are you unable to download it, or are you unable to launch it? If it's the latter, it's probably an issue with Gatekeeper, and you can bypass it by Ctrl+clicking on the icon and using the Open command there.
  16. I love the dragons, WBD.
  17. I would just go with something not too complicated: headlight bricks attached by their tops to the edges of the semicircle. (Headlight bricks aligned that way instead of regular bricks with studs on their sides because you don't end up with the half-plate gap between the edge of the cone and the bottom of the brick.)
  18. That may not even be the final Big Bad. Sandy's said before that Baba was originally intended to just be a one-time NPC, and was brought back because of Quest 14's unfinished storyline involving her. Although I do think that she is the Big Bad, defeating her is not necessarily the end of the storyline. Lucas Physics, hurrah!
  19. "Thank you for the warning."I equip the Cobweb Cowl in place of the Counterstrike Gloves. "So do you believe there's a chance that we could be dealing with some sort of poison specifically created to affect only Lord Guffington?"
  20. Didn't Legonater express interest in siding with Team Guts a day or so ago? Between him and Hybros, that's two of the better Assassins on Guts' side. And Team Guts does have the Cobweb Cowl, even if it's not Guts himself who owns it.
  21. Well then that works out for everyone. Flitwick doesn't have to figure out how Thothwick will treat it because you're not going to have Atramor act any differently.
  22. Does it? That's good to hear. It's at the top of my considered purchases for Star Wars right now, and even if I'll eventually part it out, it's good to hear that it looks better than the pictures show. Hopefully I'll be able to see it in a store before buying it. I'm thinking the nose doesn't look as blocky when viewed because it has less contrast than in the perfect conditions of TLG's pictures?
  23. Isn't this a recolor of mao16's LDD Venator?
  24. On one hand, Thothwick seems like the kind of character who would look for the best in other heroes and welcome the converted witch with open arms. On the other hand, he doesn't seem that naive as to immediately trust Atramor. So I think he should grudgingly approve of the eventual change, but still keep his distance from Atramor and avoid talking to him or working with him. But I don't roleplay, so what do I know.
