  1. Toy Fair info on the Star Wars calendar was a September release, I believe.
  2. You've done an exceptional job with this one, Oky. Even the mold marks are lined up!
  3. I tried looking for a more detailed mention, but as far as I can tell, Wookieepedia just has "mentioned only" under the list of vehicles that appear on the book's page, and a sentence calling the ship a collector's item on the ship's page. I think it could be possible as a fleeting background appearance in a nod to obscure canon, but definitely not an appearance that would warrant a LEGO set.
  4. Access granted; welcome to the Reviewers Academy.
  5. Great to have another Star Wars fan here. Welcome to EB.
  6. Welcome to EB! Always good to see more Star Wars fans.
  7. Wookieepedia lists it as being commissioned by King Veruna, the monarch directly before Amidala, so it shouldn't appear in anything set well before the PT. On the other hand, Wookieepedia does say that the ship was mentioned as a collector's item in Agents of Chaos I: Hero's Trial, which is set in 25 ABY during the Yuuzhan Vong war, so it does survive well after the OT. But I wouldn't expect to see it; it's too obscure by that time. (And even if Naboo was revisited in new movies set after the OT, I would expect to see a new Naboo royal starship crafted for a new character. [in the PT, there're numerous different ships in the same style constructed even for the same person, and Wookieepedia mentions that the J-type 327 Nubian was already retired and replaced by a new ship by the time of Amidala's successor, Jamillia.])
  8. Merging......and done.
  9. Yep. Prices and details in the first post.
  10. The staff is about two weeks ahead of you. We're prepared, you just can't see it.
  11. LDraw is just the parts library; you need to download an editor. For Mac that's Bricksmith. They have a complete package there, but that LDraw library in the Bricksmith package hasn't been updated since February 2012. Depending on the parts you need, you might have to download a new library from LDraw to update the Bricksmith one...and I don't remember how to do that.
  12. Welcome to EB! I've merged your topic into this one.I also converted your images into links; they were much too big to be embedded. We don't allow members to embed images larger than about 800x600. (See the 'Images' section of the member guidelines.) If you need help resizing pictures, there are links to helpful guides in my signature.
  13. The door to the Hall opens with a whisper, and you see the dark-cloaked figure moves once more to the Quest Board. "Two elves, good. Druids should please my lord as well. "I should check the history of the heroes. I believe this Hall has a library somewhere..." And just as quickly as before, the figure is gone, walking deeper into Heroica Hall instead of exiting the building. Current Sign-ups for Quest 77: Your Elves are Better than Ours: Alexander Vandagant, Level 15 Hunter (Wedge09) Elgar Gligin, Level 23.67 Druid (Jedi master Brick) Throlar Wineghilm, Level 1 Knight (Lord Duvors) Johon, Level 25 Raider (Bricksandparts) Drake Flamerobe, Level 11.5 Knight (xxlrocka) Ellaria Arbour, Level 22.33 Druid (Sandy) Lord Lawrence Boomingham, Level 22.67 Paladin (Zepher) Arthur Justus Regulus VII, Level 26.33 Sorcerer (Flipz) Grimwald Gjinko, Level 4 Cleric (LordoftheNoobs) Romulus Dean, Level 16.5 Raider (TheBoyWonder) Sorrow, Level 22 Assassin (Endgame)
  14. I don't want to give away too much... it won't be straightforward, but if you look in the right place, it should be fairly clear. Whether you will look in the right place, I have no idea. If you're interested in coming, I can't guarantee you'll get picked, though, with two elven heroes already signed up. I might expand my party to six...
  15. As the servers move in and out of the hall, I attempt to sneak into the kitchen.
  16. The FA-4 is actually supposed to look like that.
  17. I think a lot of people are confused about how the Yoda Chronicles is being released. I was talking to Oky about it recently because I have no idea what's going on. (And I don't have cable and if I did, I wouldn't pay attention to Cartoon Network, so I know next to nothing about the schedule.) Apparently there're supposed to be three mini movies plus three of the TV episodes, and there's been no announcement of when the next two episodes will be released. Then there're the web episodes which Oky says features the new sets and has nothing to do with the Yoda Chronicles storyline.
  18. It's got several effects that it has a 50% chance of inflicting on a successful hit, and the user gets to choose which effect he wants inflicted. PsyKater has it.
  19. Please note that we prefer that you do not write reviews using phone or webcam pictures. However, if you can take pictures of good point-and-shoot camera quality, then that will be acceptable. Welcome to the Reviewers Academy! And welcome to the Reviewers Academy to you as well!
  20. Just call the Shield "MacGyverism". I see your point. A small amount of Gold would be suitable as something you mine with a Pickaxe, I think.
  21. Update: Full review posted by Jared Chan on Legend Bricks!
  22. Speaking of non-video reviews, flickr user Jared Chan uploaded a pictorial review of 10236 Ewok Village — no text as far as I can see — the first of this set that I've seen. (Blogged!)
  23. Nerf the mine, buff the bomb, makes sense. artisan noun - a worker in a skilled trade, especially one that involves making things by hand.Making bombs in a high medieval fantasy setting seems like a pretty skilled trade to me. Maybe instead of making straight bombs, Artisans could make items that buff other heroes' equipment. Sharpening better blades, making better arrows, improvising better bombs, crafting enhancements for better wands, polishing better shields -- all sound like things that an artisan in the medieval sense could do better than the average blacksmith or tools vendor. By the way, The Art of War.
