So I saw it yesterday with a work friend who knows I love all things LEGO. I loved the movie. It wasn't as good as TLBM, but I loved this one way more than I loved the Batman film. Even though it wasn't completely brickbuilt like the first film, I think it really worked for this film compared to TLBM, and I thought the cinematography was the best of the series to date. I really liked how Jackie Chan's fighting style was incorporated into Sensei Wu. The ending of Act II and beginning of Act III dragged but picked up as we raced to the finish. Also I'm slightly tired of the butt jokes in Lego movies. Although there were a few LEGO jokes only I laughed at in the theater: But oh man, the ending was an absoulte punch in the gut for me. I've only gotten teary eyed during maybe six films in my life, both of the other Lego movies included, but at the end of Ninjago, there were tears rolling down my face and it was bad. The film made me want to call my dad right away and tell him I loved him.

"Good, I feel like we've been here too long. This way." Galedo leads them out of the trophy room and to the common room where... Jeremiah and more guards take a stand. But Jeremiah is trembling ever so slightly. "Please, just, just leave us be," Jeremiah says, his voice becoming a whine. "You've made your point, I don't want to fight you. I won't. Please just let us go." "Jeremiah, command your men to lay down their arms, we have to stop your grandfather." "They're not my men, they're his." Jeremiah then moves forward a half-step. The guards seem to take this as a first move to attack the Heroes. They raise their weapons. But the Heroes notice something important. In front of the guards, where they can't see his lips, Jeremiah mouths, "Attack them."

Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. You may not quote PMs from other players. Quoting PMs from other players will result in a same-day 3-vote penalty against you for each incident. Do not play the game outside the day-thread and PMs. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread; you must always play the role given to you. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. Play with your roles. Have fun with them and get into character, you'll enjoy the game more. If you are dead, your game is over. You may not comment on the game to any living or dead players in any form. This includes posting, private messaging, direct chat, email or any other form of online or offline communication with the exception of the deadboard, provided to you by the game hosts. The deadboard is for dead-to-dead player communication only. Any information you had becomes void and may not be passed on. The same applies for living players making contact with those who are no longer playing, no matter what the stated purpose. Both situations can appear to be an attempt to gain information or cause influence that would be unfair to the remaining living players. Whether you are still playing or have already died, if you are contacted inappropriately, please notify the hosts immediately. Violation of this rule will result in instant mod-kill, taking away of your Oscar, and bad press. You may not edit your posts. Editing your post will result in a 2-vote penalty. All EB staff can see ALL edits. This is your only warning. You must post in every Day Thread. Failure to do so will result in a 1-vote penalty at the start of the next day. You must vote in every Day Thread. Failure to do so will result in a 1-vote penalty at the start of the next day. These rules will not change through the game. Do not pester the hosts about changing any rules. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the hosts using your role PM. All other forms of communications will be ignored. There are no clues in the photos. There are no clues in the photos! Characters were created separately from roles being assigned, so the type of expression/headgear/tone/clothing/etc has nothing to do with what team a character is on. Placement of a character within a photo does not indicate what team the character is on. Some figures have dual-sided heads and the heads might be turned around for photos if the scene warrants it. This is not an indication of the allegiance of the character! There are no clues in the photos. Play and have fun. Be silly, serious, comedic, dramatic, whatever you think works to help your team win. Just remember it's a game.

It took some doing, but Emile Perreault managed to track down another former crew member, Bart. The marine-turned-pirate had left the pirate trade and had been living his life in a small fishing village. But no more, Emile vowed to make today Bart's last. BLAM! Bart fell into the water, bleeding out, and no fish in his barrel for that day. Emile made a mental note. There were only two people left he had to find: the captain and the man who recruited him. It's been awhile since I've built, I've just been busy with other things. I also wanted to try some rockwork, which has always been difficult for me. Thoughts?

"It sneezes acid?" Galedo repeats. "Is that, well, safe? Especially for you?" "Wherever Jermiah went, it's bound to be guarded. But know this, you've frightened him. If he fights us, he'll be doing it unwillingly, which could be good for us if we wish to talk. But no matter, let's head to the trophy room. This way, please." Galedo leads the goup further into the house, and stopped them in the trophy room. There's a suspicious lack of guards there. But in the center of the room, in an alcove is a gold chalice. "Where is everyone? Calder never leaves this chalice unprotected. It's one of his most prized posessions." Galedo carefully moves towards it. "Even with guards, he has it protected by magic. This is another magical item we can't let fall into the wrong hands, like the mural, if we stop Calder. Should we steal it or press forward?"
