  1. I like how you made safety cage. It reminds me of Technic Test Car 8865 on steroids.
  2. WOW, your buggy is awesome. I like its suspension and complex geartrain with fake engine. The only strange feature is HOG on hood - it looks pretty uncomfortable in your second video.
  3. I like overall design of your LMP car. If we speak about colors I like blue and orange combination - it reminds me Ford GT in Gulf livery.
  4. Thank you for your comment. I played FlatOut 2 and totally forgot its junk cars - you are right there is some similarity between them and my model.
  5. I like your Mini especially its front with grill and headlights. It is also interesting how you made suspension with rubber belts.
  6. I like idea of current TC18 contest so I decided to build something for it too. My initial idea was very simple - it has to be alternative model. Then I found out that set 42106 is the only set I own with four 43,2x14 wheels so I chose it as parts resource. This set also features pullback motor so I think I am the first who decided to use it in model for contest. Since I also wanted to add ordinary steering I had to find the way how to make them work together. I came with idea of two modes: Pullback - pullback car with blocked steering to keep it going straight Steering - car with steering and disabled pullback motor to allow reverse I began building chassis with necesary mechanisms and then tried to build body around it. Honestly this is my first "normal" car so I was very curious about result (I built only hot rods and buggies before). Building body became as interesting as I stopped taking care about chassis and made body one solid structure. I didn't take inspiration from any real car but I think it looks like hybrid between Å koda 135, Ford Mustang and some Asian tuning car. Body is connected to chassis only by two pins and four axles. It has very simple interior with steering wheel and no seats due to limited amount of parts in set 42106. Overall dimensions are: lenght 34 studs (41 with flames from exhausts), width 15 studs and height 12 studs. Back to functions - pullback motor is connected to rear axle through 3 gears that can be disconnected by gear behind right door. Connection is also secured with black pin to resist torque from pullback motor. Steering can be locked by two axles controlled by black lever. Thanks to its big weight this race car features small acceleration and low max. speed. Chassis in pullback mode Chassis in steering mode Building instructions are available at buildinst.cz Any comments are welcomed.
  7. It looks cool - I like how you caught its shape in such a small scale. My favorite parts are headlights and rear lights. And I agree with others that rear spoiler / wing would be good addition.
  8. It looks great! I like its overall design. Just wheels with tires doesn't fit it well - I thought these cranes move on rails...
  9. This is pretty funny model. I especially like both weapons - carrot rifle and egg granates.
  10. Your Porsche is pretty cool and I like it more than original Aston Martin. I like its simple and clean design.
  11. I haven't found any review of awesome set 75936 here at eurobricks so let me write one for you. Set's main highlight is the biggest brick-build dinosaur released by The LEGO Group so far. It was the reason why I got this set - I wanted to build this huge dino. It also contains Jurassic Park gate that is not very interesting for me so I'm gonna focus on C. rex. Set Information Set number: 75936 Name: Jurassic Park: C. rex Rampage Year released: 2019 Pieces: 3120 RRP: $249.99 / 249.99€ Box and Packaging Box is huge - its size is comparable with big Creator Expert sets and other big sets targeted to adults like for example Hogwards Castle. Box is also pretty heavy and almost completely full. When you open it you get 30 bags of parts numbered 1 to 15, loose 16x16 tan plate and two instruction manuals packed together with sticker sheet in plastic bag. The first manual is for C. rex and the other for gate so you can build both parts simultaneously with your friend. Sticker sheet contains only 7 stickers so I decided to apply them although I don't do it usually. Building C. rex So let's start building the biggest dinosaur! Bags with number 1 contain parts for lower part of body and neck. Bags with number 2 adds upper part of body and tail. It looks little bit strange but I did all steps from building instructions correctly so I shouldn't bother about it. Level of detail is really high - you can even see place where "waste" leaves C. rex's body. Body is finished with bags numbered 3. You also add second segment of neck in this phase. Bags with numbers 4 and 5 contain parts for right and left leg. I think legs are the best part of whole model. They have organic shape and I especially like texture on ankles and claws. Designer used similar hip joint to one used in Voltron to keep C. rex stable when standing on two legs. Building continues with bags number 6 and they contain WINGS?!? This stopes being funny! I'm checking instructions once more and they really mean "wings". Now it doesn't resemble dinosaur at all... And finally last bags (with number 7) for C. rex contain parts for its head. I built it and understood all including letter "C" in name of dinosaur - I've got life-size Chicken! Or exactly Chicken rex... It looks like designers from TLG have good sense of humor... You can see it at next picture with medium size egg. Building gate It took me more than week to force myself to build it after I finished C. rex. So making long story short it took me 4 hours to build Jurassic Park gate. It features opening door and 6 small vignettes at rear side. They are full of nice details but I would prefer just C. rex and no gate at all (with corresponding discount from set prise). You can see both sides of gate at following pictures. Last set of bags with number 15 also contain stand for minifigures. Complete model When you put C. rex, gate and stand with minifigures together you get huge display piece. Especially gate is as large as I don't have enough space to display it anywhere at my home so I took it apart right after I finished taking its pictures. What is more interesting is amont of leftover parts. It looks like it is possible to build something else from this set too... I think I found their purpose - you can build your own dinosaur from them, at least little one. Here is one action shot: And detail of minifigures on stand - it looks like C. rex likes Ellie... Conclusion This set is definitely great piece of LEGO art and I like C. rex so much. It is also the biggest creature I built out of LEGO bricks so far. It is well designed and joints have enough friction to keep it in various poses though in some possitions they are reaching their limits. Gate is nice addition but if I could choose I would take just C. rex without it. I hope you found this short review informative and entertaining. Let me know in comments what you think about it. This review is expression of my own opinioins. And yes, it is late April fools joke. Set 75936 doesn't contain building instructions for Chicken rex but for Tyrannosaur. You can get building instructions for C. rex at rebrickable.com If you wanna read more serious review of set 75936 I recommend you these: https://brickset.com/article/44264/review-75936-jurassic-park-t-rex-rampage https://www.brothers-brick.com/2019/06/17/lego-75936-jurassic-park-t-rex-rampage-the-biggest-lego-dino-ever-review-interview/
  12. Both models look good and simple. I like excavator more - I like how you made working arm with just one linear actuator. If you are looking for some ideas you can try to build harbour crane similar to alternative model of set 8053.
  13. Thank you for your comment. I am also happy that I found meaningful aplication for them.
  14. Building instructions for this snow groomer are available at rebrickable.com now.
  15. This is awesome alternative model! I like all its functionality.
  16. Honestly I am quite gratified to see two of my MOCs stolen next to MOCs from such master builders as Madoca.
  17. Thank you for your comment. I always try to build alternative models as different to original one as possible.
  18. Two years ago I built freight helicopter out of set 42074 and few weeks ago I built another alternative model from this set - propeller plane. When you are moving it around it whirls its propeller. I enjoyed building it very much - it took me just three nights to build it and I like its bright color scheme. Building instructions are available at buildinst. Any comments are welcomed.
  19. What a cool model. I like how it looks and works. It is also funny to see reaction of real dog to this model.
  20. Thank you for your comment. When I saw 3 alternative models from TGBDZ I've begun being afraid he would build snow groomer from this set sooner than me... No, this was another builder. When I was looking for some inspiration I found out there are two alternative models of snow groomer for arctic truck from two different builders. I plan to make them but don't expect them sooner than after two months.
  21. I think I am very tidy. When I am building new sets I build them right from open bags (I am too lazy to sort parts before beginning building) and when I am building MOCs I use organisers to sort my parts. I also have few plastic boxes from ikea where I keep work in process MOCs. And since I build almost exclusively alternative models I keep all my parts as complete sets in original LEGO paper boxes with parts sorted in plastic zip-bags by type. It takes more space but it is very easy to get parts for exact set and start building alternative model.
  22. Let me introduce you my latest alternative model built out of set 42094 - Snow groomer! It is already my third snowcat I've built out of LEGO Technic. You can see it here next to its lil bro from set 9391. It features two manual functions: lifting snow plow by turning gear on the roof of cab lifting rear blade by turning lever behind engine cover Since set 42094 contains just one linear actuator and no worm gears I used two shock absorbers to keep rear blade in two positions - up and down. The first version of model also featured gearbox for switching between functions above operated from same place on roof of cab. I had to remove it because gears were not able to transmit huge torque necesary for pushing springs on rear blade. Building instructions are available at rebrickable.com Any comments are welcomed.
  23. LEGO Technic buggies have special place in my life - my very first LEGO set was Technic buggy 8829 and buggy 8048 took me definitely back from "dark age" so buying new buggy 42101 was sure thing for me. I also knew what I wanna build out of it - motorbike because it was official alternative model of set 8829. It took me a lot of effort to build it. I spent more than 12 hours by trial and error before I found the way how to build it. Final model features same functions as main model - steering and rear axle suspension.
