  1. It is not the only good think but the tailgate is hypnotic.
  2. They are from the 76139 batmobil, when I saw I knew they will be good for trucks. Gracias.
  3. You are right... I am sure that it will not be the last bed I do for this MOC...
  4. I like nothing but the pneumatic stuff and the size... I also think that a black rims would do the tyres look bigger, we have 51x15x13 inside the red frame.
  5. Try to make it as official as possible using Sbrick or Buwizz is quite a contradiction, isn´t it?, I should have read the rules better, fortunately my entry is not RC but if it was, a purist like me would be in disadvantage in a contest with Lego for using only Lego. What is Lego´s opinion on those components?. Adding extra space for those who only use Lego would be good, at least measure of two Lego receibers more or less.
  6. But you can create them while you do not have the real ones, right?. Well like my money for lego is only dedicated to the new pieces I could not consider them expensive.
  7. I suppose that they will be perfect for trucks.
  8. While I fight against the bed I redesigned the rear part... same size with less pieces and stronger, what I always looking for.
  9. I supoose that Lego moves itself where the money is, It is bad for some of us but the opposite for the ones who keep buying and Lego.
  10. Our nonexistent problem is that nowadays nobody can say what a Technic set or MOC really is. Good example with the 42078, for me is almost a model team set with functions. In the end all is money, if they can sell us more pieces that Technic needed before they will do it and they will not change the name Technic from the box.
  11. When they are fold you have 15 studs, now I understand, good work. The only part I do not like is the front, too much use of tyles does not fit with my technic view, but I think is my problem more or less.
  12. Are you sure you are under the 10000?, I count 36x18x19, the mirrors can be a trouble for you.
  13. Maybe you are right, I usually do first the most difficult option and then I start to see easier choices... but I also wanted the steering above the cabin and this way It is easier to get It.
  14. Finally somethig that I am starting to like... and it was not my first try neither the fifth... I already have a strong chassis, a six inline fake engine cylinder connected to two differentials, a front pivot suspension and a articulated steering thanks to worm gear or mini linear actuator I am on it right now... I will need a black rims that will make the wheels bigger and then I will start with the bed and pneumatics. Right now I am under the 15x13x51 that would need so I can play with the measures to fit things better.
  15. I like how you have putted the front track gears, good idea, I know how difficult is to achieve the right track tension on small MOCs.
  16. My style is always minimalistic but fully functional so the bed will be covered for sure. My headache now is doing a ejector bed or not, what version would be less complicated?.
  17. I think that if you increase the total size the tracks will fit even better. I agree with you in the manual functions, in this scales all the electric components will became ugly the MOC and they would need too much room.
  18. Good luck with your truck, I always enjoy seeing these MOCs because I have already done a few ones. In my opinion it would be even more interesting without motors to can replicate all the functions but it is a matter of tastes. The one without motorized functions it is nearly 9500 cubic studs and the other is around 30000...
  19. After a lot of hours thinking, that is my progress so far... I decided to do an underground dumper, I always wanted to build this kind of machinery and its features are perfect for the contest because they are very narrow and low machines so I will have enough length for a reasonable dumper. It is not a very original idea and I suppose that there will be more kind of dumper machines, even underground ones, so I do not pretend to reserve the idea in fact I wish there will be more like this. My first thought is not to use motors because Lego wouldn´t do it in a small set with more than 2 functions. For those who do not know this type of machines I will try to do something similar to the pics. And this is my physical progress so far, for the moment it is only to see the space I will have for everything... the measures in the pics are 14,5x 13x 50 that give me 9425... I can not put even mirrors... It looks like this machine is calling for pneumatics...
  20. So if I do a dumper for example, It has to be inside the cubic measures when its bed is up, hasn't It?.
  21. If I can not do it anything this time too I will be officially on my dark ages, anybody has a cubic stud calculator pleaseor an app?.
