  1. Ok, I hate them too that is why I do my tatras with aligned wheels even despide loosing realism.
  2. Are you refering to the angle of the axles or the misaligned wheels?.
  3. All color which I am not going to use is rare for me, I am sorry for explain wrong myself.
  4. After the D11 this set it seems to me a bargain but like I do not want more rare colors pieces it will be a not must have set. Thank you for the review and the great work.
  5. My favorite part of building is looking for the best way to do it small things and putting together them and I just have had an idea I will have to try just now .
  6. They still are a bit wide but they are better than the others we have.
  7. I had not built something mine since a long time and I started again with hard things. These are tatra axles with ackerman steering and perfect geometry, I achieved this because the two drive axles do not match the steering parts but the price I have to pay is unestable wheels and having to put the transmission up. I always had used only one drive axle but these wheels allow me more distance between them so I am trying. The red gears are for the transmission, it has rubber suspensions but it is only a tatra WIP so everything can change and I already have seen things to improve. The rear axles are very easy to do so I let them for the end. My others Tatras was smallers but the steering system was similar so being bigger this one I think it will work too or not here it is the fun .
  8. In the end Lego works for whom have fun building what it gives to them, so we can judge because have seen too much other stuff but is our problem.
  9. You take me off all the fun , the easy thing is to put more motors and charge more for the set and we have a 42100, but I like gearboxes and putting the more functions I can be able to with the less motors possible.
  10. I agree, are we sure still like Lego?.
  11. I think the opposite, it is just a dozer for display not for play so it deserved all the possible functions, I bet that if this dozer is used to play will have problems with the weight and with the batteries you will have to buy. In the end it is not something new, this is like a Technic supercar, I do not think they are being used to play.
  12. I want to say too that I understand that the designers have to fight with a lot of things we do not know, nobody who likes functional things do these sets on purpose, my problem is with the direction that Lego is going.
  13. In general almost every wheels are unreal, too much wide, the best the old ones, recently they are getting better and I hate to see too many bricks.
  14. Thank you for the information. And thank you too for the laughs.
  15. Wow thank you and that beast had suspension, isn´t it?.
  16. Acco dozer used the same configuration but I do not know if the drive sprocket is the same, for sure M_Longer will kindly tell us.
  17. I think the functions are for show sometimes and it is no more nor less than a collector object for display, like a Star Wars ship with landing gear or whatever, but Technic was not this...
  18. We could say that the 8275 was more a Komatsu 375 than this a Caterpillar D11... .
  19. So the tracks will run over the same part of the gear all time, the owner will have to turn them .
  20. I agree you do not agree but the new tracks are for unreal machines or snow ones.
  21. Someone will do a tracked loader, the dificult part will be the bucket.
  22. So Lego is going backwards what is the advantage of doing the same with more bricks... I have answered myself...
  23. Will you be agree with me that it is still a D11?. You are right again but I do not think that the measures change a lot between new and older versions, you remind me of Sheepo when he told me that a skyline did not use the V12 I had put on it . I am sorry to bring back old MOCs but I do not understand why the gearbox has to be huge, look at my D11, it is ridiculous in size and has a much more functions and I did it many years ago... it is more ugly too... Caterpillar D11
  24. Let´s see a real D11, maybe Lego has used the wider tracks ok, but where you see 23,4 studs the set has almost 28 or more, a too much wide set as usual but the drive sprocket has been put better than I thought, maybe can we have suspension...? I think not...
