  1. Nice, what about using 2 new u-joints instead of the 2 old ones in the diferenttial?, in fact I don´t know if there would be difference .
  2. The one L motor per side is your firm Efferman but I think if you take away the differential the challenge of making a narrow shaft is eliminated.
  3. I agree with Blackbird, only a sporadic problem with any gear. The car obviously performs better without a body... as any car in the world that you take away weight .
  4. Chorlton very well explained, I didn´t dare with my poor English . Alasdair I've always dreamed of operating heavy machinery but only one day because I'm not very skilled. My gym mates joke with me saying... why do you drive it?, If you are heavy machinery , this video is from 2010 with two 50 kg dumbbells, now I'm stronger but also less thin . I feared for my face in the third repeat .
  5. Don´t worry that´s my fault, the important thing is that I like to put the maximum possible mechanisms in my MOCs, I hate the unused room like you.
  6. Do they affect your hobbies that have nothing to do with Lego to your Lego constructions?. In my case I've drawn all my life and I think that helps me a lot in my MOCs but certainly not in the mechanical part , which curiously never liked, until now. The fact that I like rugby because I played it as a prop and that I've been lifting weights almost 20 years, I think it just helps me breaking more bricks of the account... Obvious thing is that all my life I liked the heavy machinery.
  7. I bought many instructions to learn, only that they came with pieces (Lego sets), now if I see something good I will pay again to learn more, the concept is the same, always there is someone who knows more than me .
  8. You're absolutely right, we could talk more about geometry, clutches, transmissions, suspensions and all those so pretty details that make a great MOC.
  9. I think I have something more to say but not about Sariel this time sorry, just kidding . I often misunderstand me and I hope this isn´t one of them ... be my weird sense of humor or the bad google english... Really all MOCs I build are motorized but not because I want to play, maybe is a bizarre search for work in little space and go to check that what I do works, in fact I got tired of large scales cars because I had lot of empty space and prefer the intermediate scales for the "no room experience", does anyone else the same problem? , not the humor problem .
  10. This is the maximum speed that I got with my R8 and one RC motor , it was a huge car...
  11. I agree, my RC cars are slows but I don´t build them for performance is just for fun with all possible mechanisms.
  12. Where is the video?, . So nice, so cute... looks like a mini Lego set . We have to put it on the heavy machinery thread.
  13. I like the reinforzed roof, I like the solid constructions .
  14. You are right with the thin liftarms, I don´t usually work with this scale so I did not notice before, anyway I like to tell what I find if anyone can help, maybe the next can discover the way to improve it.
  15. Tell us the secret with the Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Angled #3 , maybe pneumatic hoses?.
  16. Of course with two wheels on each side the pivot point it is important to achieve a smaller travel on wheels. Another system I used was this, the fault was that the wheel easy leave but the pivot point is near to the wheel too, I used the Technic, Steering CV Joint Axle 92906 on wheels.
  17. It is good but the problem I had when I used this system is that wheel easy leave the u-joint and if you use a 5´5 axle to prevent, it is very ugly , also you still having the pivot point a stud wheel farther than I.
  18. You will have more angle but the pivot point will be one stud away from the wheel, in the end one compensates the other I think. The fault I see in this system is that the 3 axle can leave the differential, if you don´t use a differential with a 8 axle you solve the problem for example in small trials trucks. Dhc6twinotter I am here to post everything I can think of , sometimes good, sometimes bad.
  19. The only ones you can use with the 42000 hubs, Light Bluish Gray Technic, Steering CV Joint 32494.
  20. Thanks to the new 42000 hubs, only 11 studs between wheels.
  21. I thought about the new pieces are good for medium size trucks, sure somebody is working with them...
